"Kathaleen is stable, but she is still asleep." Doctor says looking up at his charts, the boys notice he says it without saying the 'th' sound. "Since she doesn't have immediate family members, I will let you all come back, when she is awake. Right now, you can go two at a time.

Who ever is wanting to go first, they can." He says, "The nurse will take you." He walks back to check on other patients.

Vic sighs in relief, so does Mike. Tony and Jaime look at them.

"You two go first, we can tell you two need to see her." Oli says, getting up. "I'm going to the cafeteria to get some food, you two want to come?" Tony and Jaime nod getting up.

"Lets go to the nurse, so she can bring us to Kat's room." Mike says as he stands, Vic nods getting up. They walk to the nurse, and she takes them to Kat's room. When they walk in, the nurse goes back to the front desk, they see Kat.

She looks peaceful as she sleeps, there's an IV in her arm, right above four scars that Vic didn't notice before. Mike goes and sits down on one side of the bed, Vic sits on the other side.

"Do you see her arm Mike?" Vic says, he points to the four scars. Mike's eyes flash as he lightly touches them. "I didn't notice them before, I guess I was blind to it…" He frowns looking at her arm.

"She didn't want you to know, she's always been like that." Mike says quietly, he kisses them and sighs. "Sam really fucked up this time, I hope to god that we don't see him again." He looks at Kat's head, there was a bruise on her cheek from where Sam's elbow made contact, it was really dark.

"I feel the same way. For now, she doesn’t go anywhere alone, especially if it's a show. She wont like it.." Vic kisses her bruise lightly, stroking her cheek.

"I understand.. I don't want to be alone anyways, not when he's out of jail, and I know he will." Kat says quietly opening her eyes. Mike smiles brightly seeing her awake.

"Malfoy! I'm glad you are awake. We were all worried about you. Now we can tell the Doc to let Oli, Tony and Jaime in." He says kissing her head. Kat smiles as Mike gets up, "I will be right back." He walks out to find the doctor.

Kat watches Mike as he shuts the door. "I can explain them, the scars…." She says looking at Vic.

"Then explain Love. I want to know." He says going around, sitting where Mike was. He runs his fingers against her wrists.

"The first one is from my family… When my parents died, I couldn't handle it. I can't believe you guys didn't see it before. There… there were two cuts for my mom and dad." She looks at her wrist, Vic was running his fingers over the first cut, he listened to her, not interrupting. "Then after Kathy died, I cut again, I hid it so well, that Katty didn't even know I did it until the funeral." She takes a deep breath, a tear runs down her cheek. "The next three are from when I was with Sam. I was put into the hospital 12 times the first year I was with him, excluding the first 6 months." Tears run down her cheek, remember every one of them. Vic wipes them away, he kisses her lightly.

"You don't have to go on if you don't want to, Love." He rubs her scars, wanting to make them go away.

"Up until you helped me escape, he put me into the hospital six more times. That's the last scar, from that. This would be the seventh time." She takes a deep breath, Mike comes back in with Oli, Tony and Jaime. They stop as they looked at me.

"Is everything ok?" Mike asks, he can tell Kat's been crying.

"Yes, now come over here so I can get hugs, I know you all want some." Kat says smiling. Vic takes a deep breath, giving the boys the 'I will tell you later' look.

Oli comes over and hugs her tightly. "I'm glad you are ok, love. "He says, his reference to 'love' is because he's British, not because of her middle name.

"I'm glad I'm ok too, I have a headache though. My cheek hurts too." Kat says smiling alittle. Tony and Jaime come over sitting at the edge of the bed.

"You scared us Kat, I have never seen Vic or Mike so scared." Tony says putting his hands on her feet.

"She's our best friend, of cou-" Vic starts, Jaime stops him.

"He knows that, he just meant that we were all scared, but you two showed it the most." Jaime says rubbing one of her legs.

"I'm glad you guys are here," She says, she coughs as the doctor comes in.

"I'm glad to see you awake Miss O'Meara." He says looking at her. "I would like to keep you overnight though, if that's ok." He checks her temperature after Mike and Oli move out of his way.

"Can I get something to drink? My throat is a little dry." She says. "And I don't know, we are suppose to be in the next venue tomorrow…" She looks at him.

"We could arrange you to be sent there, I want to make sure you are ok." The Doctor says as he pages the nurse. "To make sure you don't have a concussion."

Kat looks at the boys, knowing they have to be in the next town. Oli speaks up, "I can stay with you love. We don't have to be on stage till later that night, and so we can drive all through the morning to get there." He smiles as Kat nods.

"Ok…" She says as the nurse comes in with her food. Everyone but Vic gets up, they all agree to come back later, they will bring Vic something to eat. The nurse sets up a stand for her as she sit up with Vic's help.

"Thank you." She says to the nurse, the nurse nods as she walks out of the room. Kat looks at the food.

"I'm jealous of you Victor." She says smiling.

"Oh, Kathaleen?" Vic laughs looking at her, "And why is that?"

"Because you can eat the good stuff." She says taking a bite of the soup that was brought to her. Vic laughs kissing her before she can get another bite in. She kisses back smiling at him.

"I love you Kata." He whispers in her ear. She smiles big, he called her the name his parents gave to her the first day they met.

"I love you too Victor." She whispers back. She means it too, like Vic means it. She can tell this is what she's suppose to feel, not the fear that Sam made her feel every time she says 'I love you'.
