Believe You Me
July 17th
I waited as the bus parked into the driveway of the house and we all got off. Julie told me she couldn’t make it to the house today and she would see if she could come by tomorrow. We took out all the bags, going inside the house and putting all our things away. I walked outside, about to get the last of our bags when Julie stood there, looking at her phone and frowning at something. I stopped in my tracks, staring at her until she looked up at me. Her frown turned into a grin and she ran at me, hugging me tightly as I lifted her up and hugged her tightly. She pulled back, kissing me and I smiled into the kiss, finally being able to stay with her.
Casey walked out and I let her hug him hello. Vic and Jaime hugged her after and soon, Tony came out and she hugged him tightly. We walked in the couch and she sat on my lap, holding me tightly. “Did you guys make it official?” Vic asked. Julie shook her head and I shrugged. “I want to be the first one!” He took a picture of Julie and I and we watched as he uploaded it to Twitter and Instagram.
Happy that the two love birds are back together!
I opened my Twitter app and re-tweeted the post, kissing Julie’s cheek. She smiled, seeing all the people who commented on how cute we looked. I closed the app, smiling at a Jaime who was trying to feed Casey some chips.
“Well, I have to go; I have an appointment with some agent. Bye guys.” Julie kissed me quickly, kissing everyone’s cheek.
“I’ll go with you okay?” Casey said, getting up. Julie smiled, walking with him out the door.
“I’m going to sleep, I’m too tired.” Jaime yawned.
“Yeah, same here.” I nodded. We all left the living room to our rooms and went to sleep.
I woke up, the blanket on the bed, and me on the floor by the air vent. The room was really cold and I couldn’t help but let out a horrible cough. I stood up, shivering and sitting on the bed. I wrapped myself with the blanket and shivered even more. The door opened and Julie poked her head in, looking at me. I tried to smile, but it came out as a cough.
“Mike, you okay?” She asked, stepping in. I nodded, about to speak when another cough came out. She walked over, kissing my cheek and pulling away quickly. “Jesus, you’re hot!” She gasped. I smirked at her and pecked her lips.
“I know baby, no need to tell me.” Julie laughed, pushing my softly and grabbed my hand, pulling me up.
“Come on Fuentes; let’s get you in the shower.” I dropped the blanket and following her to the bathroom in my room, shivering. I sat on the counter by the sink, watching as she turned the water on and fixed it. I hopped off, grabbing her waist and pulling her to my body.
“Are you going to join me, darling?” I whispered in her ear, my hands lifting her shirt a bit to feel the skin under it. Julie giggled, moving away and sitting on the counter, her hands covering her eyes. I walked over, grabbing her hands and laughing as she shut her eyes. “Come on baby, join me.” Julie rolled her eyes, staring up at me and shaking her head.
“I don’t want to get sick, Mike. Now get in.” I let her leave the bathroom, locking the door and stripping out of my clothes. I jumped in the shower, screaming at how cold the water was.
“Julie!” I yelled.
“You need to freeze out the cold, Mike!” She yelled back. I took a shower really quick and got out, grabbing a towel and drying myself. I wrapped the towel around my hips, walking out and seeing the bed sheets gone and Julie gone. I changed into a pair of boxers, sweat pants and a crew neck. I walked out seeing Julie putting my bed sheets to wash and she looked at my clothes.
“Babe, you need to put on shorts and a tank. You can’t be in the heat.” She shooed me back to the bedroom and I changed, mumbling curses.
“Why can’t I just be comfortable?” I whimpered, putting on my shorts.
“I told you already.” Julie spoke, taking her phone out.
“Where are the guys?” Just realizing that they weren’t in the house.
“They all went out for some few things. Who knows what they went to get.” Julie answered, leaving the room for something. I followed her, going into the main bathroom and watching as she took out the thermometer. She stuck it in my mouth and I sighed, leaning on the doorway and waiting for it. Once she took it out I captured her mouth with mine and she giggled, wrapping her arms around my neck.
I pulled away as she looked at the thermometer and shook her head. “This is bad.” She looked at me. “I’ll be your nurse and I say you go lie on the couch, put on the Harry Potter movie that’s on and I’ll make you a nice coffee.” I smiled, kissing her again and she pushed me away. “We can continue later, now go!” She laughed and I groaned, pulling her out with me and letting her go to the kitchen as I put the movie on. I was about to grab the blanket but remembered that she would get mad so I sat on the couch. I began shivering from the cold and the movie began.
“Here you go.” Julie set the warm cup in my hands and I smiled, drinking it and enjoying the hot liquid going down my throat. Julie cuddled into my side and I smiled, wrapping one arm around her shoulders and the other holding my cup. Half way into the movie, I saw Julie playing with her fingers and I began thinking.
“You know something Julie?” She looked up at me and furrowed her eyebrows. “When I was little, my dad would turn on the fireplace and make Vic and I sit in front of the heat to sweat out the fever.” Julie stared at me and looked around.
“But you don’t have a fireplace.” I smirked and picked her up, taking her to my bed and grabbing the blanket from the couch. I set her on the bare mattress, looking down at her. Her brown hair was spread out and I smiled down at her. I leaned down, kissing her and slowly began taking our clothes off. After a few hours, I pushed her hair away from her face, feeling beads of sweat rolling off my forehead. I wiped them away, grinning down at her and holding her hips.
“I love you.” I whispered.
“I love you too, Mike.” She spoke, kissing me passionately.
I woke up to voices in the living room and I yawned, looking down at my chest and seeing Julie fast asleep on me. I smiled, resting my head on the pillow and grinning like a fool. I was in love with Julie and she was now officially only mine. I wrapped my arms around her small body and looked down at her. She was perfect, her light brown hair cascading around her perfect pale face. Her eyes fluttered open, making me smile again at the sight of her chestnut eyes. She looked up at me and smiled, leaning up and kissing me softly.
“Yesterday was a pretty productive.” She giggled against my lips, making me laugh and flip us around.
“Today can be productive too.” I laughed and caught her mouth. We were interrupted by the door knocking, causing me to groan and it up.
“What?” I asked.
“Mike, you awake? You’ve been sleeping since we got home last night.” Vic’s voice rang.
“I’ll be right out.” Julie and I got dressed, walking out and seeing the guys sitting on the couch.
“Man, you guys look beat.” Jaime commented. Julie sat next to Casey and I sat with Vic.
“I’m a bit sick and she took care of me. We ended falling asleep on the bed.” I spoke.
“You better have.” Casey said, smiling at Julie, who rolled her eyes.
