I Don't Ever Want To Lose My Bestfriend
Ally's POV
I woke up dizzy and disorientated in a room that screamed unfamiliarity. I looked over and saw Callie asleep in the bed next to me and then I remembered. We were in America!
A rush of adrenaline flooded through my bones as I made my way into the shower. My bones ached from sitting the same position for so long on the plane. I let the hot water relax my muscles, tipping back my head into the oncoming stream of hot water trying to clamber together my thoughts.
I was in Los Angeles, California with my best friend and tomorrow was the first date of the Warped Tour. I mentally listed in my head all the bands that Callie and I had wanted to see. ; All Time Low, Tonight Alive, The Amity Affliction, Sleeping With Sirens, Of Mice and Men and of course our favourite band of all time, Pierce the Veil!
My insides quivered at the thought of seeing Pierce the Veil. They had been Callie and I's favourite band for as long as I had known her. Their music had gotten me through some very long and lonely nights and I knew Callie felt the same way. We had seen them live previously when they had come to Australia a few years ago but we had been too young to go in the mosh pit. This time when we saw them live we had vowed to be right up the front on the barricade singing our hearts out and having the best time of our lives! My heart started pumping faster and I could feel adrenaline coursing through my veins. I was so happy to be able to share this moment with my best friend and I knew she was just as excited as I was.
I wrapped my hair up in a towel and went to wake Callie. It had seemed that we had slept through the entire day and it was now 6pm. I shook Callie awake as I was starting to get hungry. As she showered, I did my hair and put on a small black dress that hugged my figure, pairing it with some blue heels I felt like I was ready to take on the city. Callie came out dressed in a peach-coloured peplum dress and tan-coloured heels. After making sure our hair and makeup was perfect (and drinking copious amounts of vodka), we grabbed our clutches and headed down into the lobby and out into the city, arms linked, ready for a night of extreme partying!
