~~~~~~~ THE NEXT DAY IN HISTORY CLASS~~~~~~~~
"Mr. White can I speak to you after class?" I asked him as I turned in our assignment.
"Of course Ana." I go back to my seat.
"Sooo, our dads are going to Tour soon." Copeland said
"And they better bring us presents." Hector added.
"You’re such a kid Hec." Muttered Amber
"I am a kid FYI"
"What ever." She puts on her earphones.
"Ooookay, so what are you guys doing?" I asked.
"Well, my dad said we were going to Disneyland, all of us." Said Angel.
"YESS!" Amber phones rings, she raises her hand.
"Yes Amber?"
"It’s my dad, can I pick it up?"
"Sure go ahead." The class was quiet and she answered.
"Hey Dad." Her face goes pale.
"When?"
"DAD YOURE FUCKING KIDDING ME!" She begins to cry. The whole class turns our way.
"Daddy, tell me this is a joke please. I beg you." She hangs up and throws the phone on the wall.
"Amber?" I ask her as she jumped into my extended arms.
"She’s dead Ana, My mom committed suicide."
My phone starts ringing. Mr. White gives me a nod and I answer it.
"Hey Uncle Dan."
"Hey sweetie, is Amber with you?" I can hear that he was trying his hardest not to cry.
"She’s crying in Hector’s arms. Is it true Uncle Dan, did she really?"He takes a deep breath.
"She really did honey, your mom will pick you guys up early today." A huge lump forms in my throat.
"I’m sorry Tio."
"Thanks sweetie, I got to hang up, ill see you in a bit." He hands up.
"What happened sis?"
"Mom is picking all of us in a few." The bell rings and my mom calls.
"Hai mommy."
"Hey baby girl, I’m going to be at your school in about 10, have you asked Austin to come over?"
"I was about too. Want me not too?"
"No, tell him, I need to distract myself."
"Will do mom, see you later, and Love you."
"Love you too baby girl." She hangs up and I go to Mr. White.
"Um Austin?"
"Yes?"
"My mom asked if you want to have dinner tonight at our house."
"I would love too Ana." I hand him a paper with my directions and hand to him.
"This is the address, bring the fam-bam."
"Sure will Ana, have a nice one guys."
About 15 mins into our Music class, the office called the teacher and we all left, except for Copeland as her dad didn’t let her get out of school early.
"Hey." I give my mom a tight hug and my brother did an awkward hug wrapping me and my mom.
"Let’s get to your uncle Dan. Come here Amber." Amber runs into my moms extended arms and they walk still hugging each other, to the car.
"I’m worried about Amber guys." Hector whispered.
"Me too." added Chris.
"Lets just head to Danny’s house and we’ll stay with her." suggested Angel.
We all enter the van and head to Uncles Danny’s house. A police car was there when we arrived and Amber ran out the car and ran inside the house. Me and Hector jump off the car and go after her.
"Where she go?" I asked myself, right then and there I hear a scream coming from the bathroom.
"AMBER!" Hector breaks through the door and ran to her putting his arms around her.
"She’s gone Ana, she really is Gone." and she cried into Hector’s shirt. He gives me a sad look, confirming that she had done it again.
"Baby." I turn around and see my uncle with swollen eyes and a sad look.
"Uncle Dan." I say and I run to him giving him a hug.
"Ana." He begins crying, and that’s when I started crying. I have never seen my uncle so broken before, not even when.., I’m not going to say it.
"Daniel." My mom says from behind, I let go, and he turns to my mom.
"She’s gone Alejandra, she’s gone forever." He takes out a paper from his pocket.
"She left me and Amber a note." He gives me Amber’s note and I hand it to Hector, which he gives to her.
"Amber," She reads out loud. "My angel, my blessing, oh how I enjoyed watching you grow into a wonderful young lady. Baby you’ll go far. I’m sorry I took such a action that probably might scar your life. I needed to leave to a better place sweetie. Remember when I told you I was feeling bad? I was feeling guilty. Now you’re probably wondering why, but that’s one thing I won’t be able to tell you. I’m sorry Sweetie. I love you my princess. Stay Strong for daddy okay?" She reads the rest to herself and holds the paper close to her.
"So?"
"She was- she was- MOM!!!!!!" she yelled put from the top of her lungs. "I NEVER TOLD YOU I LOVED YOU! COME BACK!!!!" she continued yelling.
"GOD YOU VOULTURE! BRING HER BACK PLEASE!!!" Hector holded her close to him.
"TAKE ME WITH HER PLEASE! MOMMY TAKE ME WITH YOU PLEASE!" Uncle Danny runs to her and drops in front of her.
"AMBER! DON’T SAY THAT BABY, NEVER! I CANT LOSE YOU EITHER!" She lets go of Hector and into her dad’s arms. I signal Hector to come outside with me and he stood up and we went to the living room where my dad, Uncle Mike, Jaime and Vic were talking.
"Is she okay?" asked Nick.
I shake my head. "Not at all. " And for the rest of the night, we stayed together.
