Maybe Ill Pretend Right Now

Mike and I went back to the bar.
I asked for another shot of tequila.
He started talking to me but I couldn't hear what he was saying because of the loud music. I really didn't want to hear what he had to say but it would probably be the last time I see him before I go back home tomorrow. So I just nodded along to everything he said.
I had around five other tequila shots while he was talking to me the weird thing was after so much alcohol I felt perfectly fine.
Mike leaned towards me and whispered in my ear. It was the last thing I thought he would ever say. I heard his words clearly, perfectly actually.
"I love you"
My heart stopped and the knot in my throat exploded. I felt I had no vocal cords anymore.
The next thing I know Mike gave me a slight kiss. I just stood there like a deer in headlights.
Time was Frozen.
Jaime.Jaime.Jaime.Jaime, was all that was going through my mind. Jaime hadn't really even told me he loved me yet.
I started feeling dizzy.
Next thing I know I am in bed at the hotel.
Except someone is in there with me.
Pleasing me.
