The Little Sister

Mike's Point of View

"Mike wake up." I slowly opened my eyes to see Karen sitting up in bed, "Yes baby?" I asked her "I think the baby is coming." I yawned and rolled over "That's great baby." I closed my eyes again and I felt Karen's hand collide with my butt. "Mike. I'm having contractions and that means your daughter is going to be born within the next 24 hours!" she pushed me out of bed and it finally registered. "I'm up." "Put on pants and get Sam." "Yes boss." I walked across the hall into Sam's room to see him sleeping soundly in his bed. I smiled, he was cute when he slept. I remembered why I was in there and walked over to him and scoped him up in my arms making sure to wrap him up in his blanket and grab his bear before walking back into the hall.

I buckled Sam into his car seat and Karen got into the passenger's seat. I got into the driver's seat and started driving towards the hospital. I was gonna have my daughter soon.
