I had Adaa in my arms when we were carrying her out of the hospital with Tony wrapped around my waist.
Kellin and Katelynn bought her a brand new car seat as a gift and had kept it in their trunk, just in case.
I couldn't stop looking at her.
She was so precious.
I ran my finger along the side of her face and smiled.
She had big teal eyes, like my mom and Oliver.
She was a little chubby and had two big dimples poking out of the side of her cheeks.
She was slightly tanned and had little pointed ears.
I just hope she doesn't grow up with an accent like Oli's.
I wasn't planning on telling my daughter that Tony isn't her real father until she's the right age, just like any other parent with my problem would do.
I could not believe how many diapers, passifiers, bottles and how much formula there was.
I laughed and handed Adaa to Tony while I climbed in the backseat with him and Jaime.
He was gently rocking her in his arms and whispering things to her.
We arrived home and Tony and I walked slowly towards the bus with Adaa while everyone got her things and gifts.
"I can't wait to adopt her babe." he smiled at me.
"When would you like to?" I asked.
"As soon as possible." he replied.
"It costs a lot of money Tony.."
"I don't care. I want her to be mine. Not Sykes'... You're mine. I'm yours. Adaa's ours. I'm going to do whatever it takes to adopt her." he said while we walked inside.
Everyone was frozen solid standing in the living room.
A hand pushed through everyone.
It was Oli and Lee.
"H-he's adopting her?" Oli choked out.
"Yes I am. I'm not sure if you're here to say sorry, but you said enough the other night Sykes." Tony told him.
"Please.. Just let me hold her..."
I hesitated for moment, but carefully handed Adaa to Oli.
He stared into her eyes with a serious look.
Then a look of despise and anger came across his face.
My stomach twirled into a knot.
He looked up at me and his face was pure red.
"Why are you letting him?" he asked me gritting his teeth.
"Oli.." I started.
"No." he stopped me. "I was in jail yesterday and you didn't care. I tried telling you sorry, but no. They've always got to end up kicking my ass in the end. This child has MY blood inside of her. Not Tony's. Mine and yours. I don't want him adopting her."
"You don't even know her name for fuck sakes!" I screamed. "I want him to adopt her! He's going to be the father of her! You're not. He'd be a much better father than you. Look how you're acting Oli! We told you to stay away and you keep coming back! They kicked your ass because you raped me!"
Everyone stared at me in disbelief.
We never ever brought it up that way.
"There, I said it! You raped me Oliver. Why the hell would I want you to be the father?"
He was completely shocked.
He went pale.
Then back to red.
"This is my baby! She's mine not his! He can't have her! I don't care if he's with you or not! This is my child! MINE!" he screamed.
Jaime tried grabbing Adaa from Oli's arms but he quickly slipped away.
Right out the door, with her in his arms.
