What A Waste Of A Perfectly Good Clean Wrist.
- Yaressi's POV -
I wake up from having a nightmare, shaking and crying. I was dreaming that my mum was getting beat by my father and threatened me saying "if you dare try to get help, I will fucking stab her! Now go up to your room, fatass." I ran up to my room to grab a razor blade and slid it deep into my wrist to where I had hit a vein. Right as I was about to hit the floor, I woke up. I hated having nights like these. Thank God my dad isn't still around my mum or I. I wasn't the kind of daughter who missed my dad. I never wrote letters to him or wanted to. He treated me like I was nothing. Now, I'm gonna do the same to him. I hope he stays locked up in prison forever. It was already 6:00 am. anyways, and I had work at 7:30, so I figured I would start my day now that I'm already awake. I'm glad I have my own apartment now, considering I am a 20 year old girl who needs her space. I walked into the bathroom to take a shower, and I stood there for a good 10 minutes thinking, and then I did everything I did in the morning as usual. I put on my uniform and put some makeup on. I looked in the mirror at myself and I thought to myself "you're a worthless waste of space." and I looked at my razor blade and looked away, trying not to turn to it. I grabbed my keys and purse and went out the door. I drove down to the coffee shop where I worked at and stopped before I opened the door and sighed. Time to start another shitty day.
I walked into the shop and right as I stepped foot behind the counter I was being raided by people who wanted there coffee. NOW.
I finally got everyone what they needed, and the shop calmed down. Then a tall man covered in tattoos walked into the shop and took a seat. I walked up to the table he was sitting at to take his order. He looked up at me with a giant smile, which was a beautiful one. His mouth stretched high to where he had lines on the corner of his mouth leading up to his nose. He looked like he had a dermal piercing under his eye, but I wasn't sure because of the shadow of the Snapback on his head. He had large plugs and a jedi braid, which made him 10x more attractive, considering I love Star Wars. He ordered a mocha coffee with a slice of cake, which I brought to him in 5 minutes. He looked at me and told me "thank you... Would you like to join me?" I guess he could see it was my lunch break, so of course I told him yes. I brought my leftovers of spaghetti from the night before and a cappuccino and joined him.
- Tony's POV -
She's so beautiful and sweet. How do I tell her that I want to go on a date with her sometime? What if she rejects me? She's unique and different from other girls. I barely know her, but I can just tell... There's something about her that I like. A lot.
"so what's your favorite movie?" I asked her.
"Star Wars!" she replied and that made me like her even more
"me too!" I exclaimed and we both smiled at each other, laughing. Wow, she has a great smile.
"Wow, it's time for me to get back to work already!" I said sadly.
"What?! Time flew by so quick!" Tony replied
He looked at me with a smile and asked "would you like to hang out sometime?"
And I looked at him and told him "Of course!" so we exchanged phone numbers, and said our goodbyes. He was amazing. Time to get back to work.
