I'll Fight For You

Two

I looked up at the building and frowned. I didn't like it. I don't know why. I turned to Jaime who was grinning. He's always so happy and confident about everything. I nudged Jaime and he looked at me, raising one eyebrow. "What?" Jaime asked.
"I don't like it here." I told him.
"Come on, Han'. You haven't even gone inside yet."
"I don't want to." I muttered.
"Stop being silly." he said and grabbed my hand. I sighed and Jaime pulled me up the steps and into the school. I blinked a few times until I was pulled in the crowds.
"Jaime." I warned.
"Stop complaining." he scolded.
I rolled my eyes as I was taken into the office. I sat down on a couch while he went to get our schedules. My eyes drifted out to the corridor. Then I saw something. Why is this happening here? I saw a shadow by one of the lockers. I felt Jaime pull me to my feet and when I looked back the shadow had gone.
"Jaime." I rushed.
"What's up?" he asked. "You have English first." he told me, handing me my schedule.
I took it and stuffed it in my bag. "Listen, I saw something."
"What kind of something?" Jaime asked.
"My kind of something." I explained.
"What did you see?"
"A shadow." I said and Jaime looked at me strange. He sighed and put his hand on my shoulder.
"Look, Han'. Don't you think you're maybe being a little paranoid? I mean, you haven't seen shadows since you were what? Twelve. It doesn't always have to be that kind if shadow."
"Maybe San Diego is just full of shadows." I muttered.
"Yeah, and they're caused by people. Stop over reacting."
"You don't get it. It wasn't a people shadow."
"Hannah. Go to class. You'll be fine, I promise." he told me.
I watched Jaime walk away. I leant up against the wall as the bell rang. I got out my schedule and found my way to English. I walked inside and the teacher smiled at me. "Miss Love?" I asked and she nodded. "I'm Hannah Preciado." I explained.
"Oh, yes. If you sit at the fourth desk on your right," she replied. I nodded and went over to my desk. I took a seat and put my head in my hands. I think I'm going insane.

I managed to get to lunch period without seeing anything else. No matter what Jaime said, it was a 'shadow', not just a shadow. In History I had met a few girls as well. The one who approached me first was Jess. She had dark hair and a huge smile. Then she introduced me to her two friends Taylor and Hope. I was walking with them now.
"Sit with me?" Jess asked.
"Sure," I nodded. "I'm just going to go to the bathroom first." I explained.
She nodded and pointed it out to me. I went inside while they waited in the corridor. I went into the cubicle and when I had finished started washing my hands. I looked into the mirror but then I saw her in the corner of my eye. I started to panic. I spun around and watched her broken form sat on the toilet seat. I could see her clearly. She smiled at me but her eyes were dead. It wasn't a warm smile either, it was almost sadistic. She turned her wrists over to show me. I gasped at the deep cuts. I could see the fat and bone in her wrists. Blood was going into the floor but she didn't bother to try and stop the flow.
"Please, stop." I muttered.
"You know my name, call me by my name!" she screamed.
"Leave me alone, Lauren," I begged. I dropped to the floor and hugged my body.
"No, I need your help!" Lauren said through gritted teeth.
"I can't help you!" I screamed.
"Look at me! Look at my wrists!" she spat. I refused to and closed my eyes. I felt a gust of wind and opened my eyes. Lauren was sat right in front of me, her form only inches away from my nose. "I said look at them! Look what they did to me!"
"I can't help you," I breathed softly.
"Look at my neck!" she snapped. I looked up and saw rope burn around her neck. "You need to help me."
"I'm sorry," I whispered. "Please just leave me alone." I rushed. I stood up and hurried out. Jess saw me and frowned.
"The others went to get our table," she explained. "Are you okay, Hannah? I heard shouting."
"Oh," I muttered. "My ex from LA phoned me. Guy trouble." I lied and shrugged.
"You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah." I smiled.
We arrived at the cafeteria and I stood in the queue with Jess. She talked to me about my classes and teachers and San Diego. When I had got my food I set my tray down on their table. "I'll be back in a sec. I just need to talk to my brother for a minute," I explained.
"Okay, come back after." Jess smiled.
I nodded and left them. I scanned the hall for Jaime. I eventually found him sat at a table with three other guys. I approached the table and saw one of the guys watching me.
"Jaime?" I asked. He turned around and grinned.
"Hey Han'. Want to sit?"
"No thanks, I'm sitting with some girls from my History class."
"I knew you'd make friends." Jaime smiled brightly.
"Who's this?" one of the guys asked.
"Oh, this is my sister, Hannah," he introduced me. I waved a little and they all looked from me to Jaime and back again. "Step sister." Jaime added.
"Are you choosing friends based on ethnicity now?" I teased. They were all Hispanic.
"Shut up," Jaime rolled his eyes. "This is Vic, Mike and Tony," he introduced me. "What's up then?" Jaime asked.
"Can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked.
"I'm eating, Han'." he groaned.
"Fine," I rolled my eyes. "I saw Lauren." I told him. He looked at me and widened his eyes. I nodded and Jaime stood up.
"I'll be a minute okay, guys," he told them. He took me by the arm and dragged me away from the table. "Are you okay?" he rushed.
"I guess." I shrugged.
"What do you mean you saw her?"
"In the bathroom she talked to me. Really talked, not like before. Her wrists. Oh God, they were bleeding. I could see her bone. And her throat was bad. I think she hung herself, Jaime." I said quickly.
"Han'," he stopped me. "Relax, okay? You might not see her again. Just don't go in that bathroom again. Try not to think about it,"
"Okay." I sighed. Jaime looked at me before he pulled me into a hug.
"Go eat your lunch." he urged. I nodded before I finally smiled.
"Thanks, Hime." I told him before I left him.

I have had episodes where touching things sends a sort of shock through me (I'll message you and explain in suuuuuper long detail...or maybe not ,y brain seems to be happy right now so I think I can make it agree to do something for me lol I sound so silly) 4.I cried after I spent the night in my friends house because I had a now that I think about WAAAAY to realistic dream 5. Maybe she does maybe she doesn't it's non of my business

Who, that's fast! I'll have to start writing and updating the third one again. I remember being so excited or it but I just forget to update! Hahaha you're hardcore ;) Wow, that's actually really interesting. I just think I'm a very open and spiritual person. I like to be in tune with a lot of things and I find it all really interesting. Message me about ghosts! My dad is more gifted than me though. I tend to feel strong emotions and feelings from buildings and objects by touch. Sometimes I get it through just entering a place too. I know not very long ago I went somewhere and had to leave because in one room I felt like I was being choked and I couldn't breathe. I have gone to castles and things though felt the old bricks and almost cried because I become overwhelmed with sadness and hate. Jess? Oh! Are you talking about real life? Because I have no idea if she does. In my story she does though haha.

1. I'm in the middle of the second one I would have been on the third one but noooo my mom had to borrow my phone for the day 2. I don't quite remember why but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with what I (or rather my intuition) was telling me but my memory is shit it freaking sucks 3. Yes I did say freaking instead of my favorite word (it's just so ugh it can go anywhere and work) 4. Nope it's not I would know I watch IT daily...ok that's a lie 5. I've seen them since I was younger but I haven't seen to many clear as day and whenever I look straight at them they disappear (to the regular human eye) however it's strange I get this feeling that they're staring straight back at me I remember one house I lived at a woman and man that looked almost the same but were ghosts would do things like just walk past me (I swear one screamed with no noise at me and I froze on spot not even kidding) and sometimes the female would sit in the sort of hallway bridge thing our house had with an easel and paint I could swear she was painting the Vegas skyline but my parents started making me not talk about it so I started forgetting until recently (remember the dreams) after they started up again the memories came back and now I'm seeing them again and to be honest I'm not scared anymore but if you want I can tell you about this one time I swear I saw something freaky 6. Also it's actually a good thing you can sense them means technology and whatnot hasn't completely dulled out your brain (not saying mines better...actually I'm pretty sure it's worse) 7. Ah I remember I was talking about Jesse but I was joking I wonder if she really did/does have a brother 8. Yeah I know that was a horrible joke wasn't it 9. Yep to be honest I kiiiinda knew that but it was more my subconscious rather then my conscious so I did but I didn't god this is starting to become confusing isn't it (please read the following in whatever voice you think a god would have) Yes, yes it is becoming increasingly complex (back to whatever the comment reading voice in your head sounds like)...Yeah you totally helped 10. To be honest I've read more in less time only reason I'm not done with the series is because I've been busy with chores and babysitting and stuff... 11. I think I'm sleep rambling cause I'm thinking about weird stuff again goodnight world because sleep is NOT for the weak 12. Yep *pop the p* I made number eleven specifically because of that saying and also cause I actually do need to sleep but mostly for the sentence @WriteIsLife

@Forgetful-Insomniacs
I love comments! Keep 'me coming! Why so intrigued?

So this isn't too scary haha? There's plenty of time to read! I love that you're so into in and exited over my stories though!

You our keep stain gone more chapter haha. You've seen ghosts? Tell me! I love hearing the stories. I've seen a few things and felt a few things too, mainly I've felt things. Buts fine to admit it! And I doubt they're demons.

You didn't know Hannah had a brother? Jaime is Hannah's step brother! Hahaha I'm Britihs and I don't talk like that! I know very stuck up people and they don't talk like that! I think you're looking for a 1800's snooty British person. But I have sequels and do work on them a lot!

I love over you commenting! I'm excited that you're excited! Scared? Really? Ahh.

Really? Thank you! You've finished this one already?!
