Somebody's Supposed to Fall In Love

Chapter Ten: Heated

My socks and shoes were strew across the carpeted floor and Vic had me delicately pinned to the couch below him. He gently grasped my hips and one of my hands were tangled in his hair, the other on his back. Our mouths were pressed together and the sparks were undeniable. He licked my bottom lip and I gasped, my eyes shooting open. Vic seemed unfazed and intent on the kiss. I felt his tongue roam my mouth and I melted below his firm body, my eyes fluttering closed.

He was the equivalent of perfection. His thin but firm build, soft hair and shy but confident smile were just a few physical characteristics that could make any girl go weak in the knees. But it was so much more to him than that. There were so many things about the way he acted and who he was as a person that was so damn attractive!

I’d been letting him lead what is now a make-out session- long and intimate kisses slightly longer than the last. We continued to ignore the burning in our lungs, refusing to supply them with the air they craved for. I felt so submissive and weak under his touch; like he could get me to do anything just by looking into my hazel eyes with his big, beautiful brown ones. Something unexplainable sparked in me and I wanted him to feel just as stricken with desire as me. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to me, tugging slightly on his lip between my teeth. He moaned and I nearly went crazy.

I want to hear it again.

I slid my tongue into his mouth and struggled for dominance. The familiar burn in my lungs intensified but I didn’t want to let up. This moment is priority- nothing will distract me from him. Vic squirmed at my suddenly strong defiance. He caved and I began to lead the kiss, trying for another moan to pass his full lips. Ultimately, we finally pulled away to breath but Vic continued to hover over me. His gorgeously vibrant eyes were clouded over with yearning and he panted slightly from the extensive kiss. His lips were parted, his hair was falling beautifully over his face and a few strands reached towards my head. Our eyes bored into each others’ and the sexual tension was thick. But, there was something buried in between those layers of extreme attraction and lust. The fact that I couldn’t make is out frustrated me.

Vic went to say something but the door swung open, effectively cutting him off. A giggly Mike stumbled in with Tony right behind. Vic and I gaped at their sudden appearance and became stiff against each other, my hands still grasping his collar and his body still pressed to mine. Tony was looking around the house till he spotted us. His eyes widened but quickly squinted slightly and hardened immediately and I swear I saw him clench his fist. He grit his teeth and bored holes into Vic- who was still hovering over me and pressed pretty close to my body. Vic cleared his throat and rose up quickly, sitting next to me. I, too, shot up with my legs Indian style and my hands nervously in my lap, looking everywhere but at Vic and Tony. The awkward strain the room quickly fell into was painful.

“Hey guys!” Mike slurred, clearly unaware of the tension in the room.

Vic and I looked confusedly at a still rigid Tony.

Tony huffed and stuffed his hands in the pockets of his skinny jeans, looking away from us, “He’s drunk.”

I scoffed, “Obliviously. I thought you guys were going to a bowling alley, not to get wasted.”

“We went to a friend’s house after and Mike had more than enough to drink.”

Tony expressed his distaste with all my questions by the small glint of annoyance in his eyes but I remained unfazed, my face stoic and clear anticipation in my posture.

“Why aren’t you drunk too, then?” I asked, wanting to get all the necessary questions answered and to poke holes in any possible lies. Its quite possible Mike could get alcohol poisoning or he’s loopy off something that isn’t liquor. Those sort of details are essential if we have to take him to the hospital and if- god forbid- Tony is lying to cover his own ass, it’ll take valuable time for doctors to figure out what’s his system before treatment. If that’s the case then-

‘Stop being so damn analytical. Tony has no reason to lie to us about Mike. You don’t have to be fifty steps ahead, Nix.’

...Fine.

“You sure are talkative,” Tony grumbled with fierceness in his eyes. He looked almost bitter for some reason, his tone seemed spiteful.

Tony glared at me till Vic gave him a look that clearly expressed warning. Tony’s glare changed to a look of irritation.

“I hardly ever drink; I can’t stand hangovers,” he answered as shortly as possible. “Now if this fucking interrogation is over, I’d like to leave. I only came to make sure Mike made it home- he’s a friend of mine and I owe him that much.”

I nodded my head at his jagged tone and turned to Mike. He was staggering from the kitchen and towards me.

“Who ate my fucking chips?!”

I looked away and fiddled with my fingers.

Vic laughed and Mike narrowed his eyes at me.

He wagged his finger, losing his balance for a second, “You owe me…you- you owe me a bag of ch-chips!”

He then went on to staring at his extended finger in amazement and ran up the stairs, pointing ahead the entire time.

I shook my head at Mike and stood to my feet.

I walked over and hugged Tony, “Thanks for bringing him home. We’d be a wreck if something happened to that dumbass.”

I felt him slightly twitch and then relax into the hug, reciprocating the gesture.

“No problem,” he mumbled into my hair with the softest voice I’d ever heard pass his lips. His jagged tone seemed to have completely dissolved. He smelled like Mint and a very refreshing, foresty smell. I got slight goose bumps from hugging him but hid my nervousness. I smiled and pulled away.

“I think I’m done interrogating you, you’re free to go,” I joked with a playful grin.

He gave a small smirk, nodded and headed out.

I closed the door behind him and was immediately spun around, my wrists held over my head and my body pressed against the door.

“Wanna finish what you started?” Vic asked in a deep, hushed voice that made my knees nearly give way. Shy, conservative, nervous and occasionally awkward Vic was shamelessly pinning me to a wooden door in a very intimate position. Heat radiated from both of us and the yearning returned. He leaned in to kiss me till I squealed. Vic pulled away and looked at me with slight confusion and a touch of amusement.

“The time!” I stammered. I noticed the round clock on the wall. It was almost six! I peeked over at the slightly open window and noticed the streetlights would be on soon.

“What about it?” Vic mumbled against my lips, earning another involuntary shiver from me.

“I have to go!” I quickly explained, trying to get a hold of myself.

“Do you really have to go?” he whined, still holding me against the door.

Ah. There's the Vic I know, haha!

“Yes…- now let go,” I laughed. He released me and crossed his arms childishly.

“What’s wrong Vic?” I asked as I gathered up my math notes and searched for my socks.

“I’d much rather kiss you then take care of a drunken Mike,” he deadpanned.

I laughed at his seemingly serious distaste for my departure.

“I’ll see you in less than twenty-four hours! And besides, I’m sure Mike isn’t that bad of a drunk.”

Just as the sentence passed my lips, I heard the shattering of glass and the sound of bongos.

“PANTERA!” Mike yelled, the echo of him beating the bongos viciously bouncing off the creamy walls without any sort of constant pattern or rhythm. I snickered as I turned my head to look at the steps from my seat on the ground, just imagining Mike behind his bedroom door was almost enough for me to break into a laughing fit. It wasn’t till I saw Vic looking down ashamedly that I finally laughed. I rolled all around the carpet, grabbing at my pained stomach and gasping for air.

“Stop it!” Vic groaned.

“I- I swear to god I can’t!” I struggled to admit.

I eventually recovered from the intense laughing and sighed contently.

“Pass me my shoes?” I asked innocently.

He scoffed at my tone but complied none the less. I tied them up and looked up at a grinning Vic.

“What?” I asked, cocking my head to the side.

“You’ve got sex hair,” he chuckled.

My cheeks burned crimson and I quickly raked my fingers through my messy hair. Vic helped me up and headed to the door with me.

“What are you doing?”

“Walking you home,” he answered like it was the most obvious thing ever.

I looked at him incredulously, “No way in hell. Your brother is drunk off his ass and if you leave him home alone he will burn your house down.”

“I thought Mike wasn’t a very bad drunk?” Vic smirked.

‘Well that came back and bit you in the ass.’ Phe laughed.

“Vic…” I stated simply, looking at him with my head slightly bowed giving him a ‘really?’ look.

Vic looked away, defeated.

“I don’t feel right just sending you off alone.”

I squeezed his hand, “I only live three blocks away and the street lights just came on, I’ll live.”

Vic sighed and looked away before responding,“…Alright. Call or text me when you get home, okay?”

I nodded and let go of hand, heading down the porch.

“I don’t get a kiss?” Vic sulked, his lips pouted.

I turned back towards him and stepped closer, his eyes slightly widening in shock. I pressed my body to his and gently pushed him against the door, my hands on his chest. My lips hovered over his; I intentionally let out a small breath and I felt a small shiver race through him. I smirked and immediately pulled away as soon as I felt him fully wrapped around my finger.

“…Nah!” I teased.

I stuck my tongue out tauntingly and skipped towards my house, leaving a confused and frustrated Vic on his doorstep, standing in the ashes of anticipation.

Hey guys its me, R.W. I broke my laptop (yes the new one I just freaking got) and got it back 2 days ago. I've tried signing in with my google account and its not allowing me to! So I made a new one with my tumblr in hopes of getting some help. Is there anyway I can get my account back? Or transfer my story? I'd be devastated if I lost access to everything.

If I do, have to start over I will rewrite this story. I read through it before I broke my computer and I feel that there is a difference in "skill" when you read chapter 1 vs. chapter 41. It's very cringy actually.SO, IF THERE'S NO SOLUTION, I may just make serious revisions via copy+paste ==> microsoft word, edit and post it on the account I am currently posting this comment with. Thanks for reading through this and I'd appreciate help if you know anything! Comment or message me with tips and suggestions please!
