Vic threw a pair of black jeans at me and I caught them. I held them up in front of me and he laughed. He passed me his black hoodie and I took it as well."These won't fit me," I told him.
"It's your fault for not owning anything black," Vic replied.
"Black is a depressing colour!" I exclaimed. "It brings you down!"
"Anyway, you'll need to think ninja,"
"Think ninja," I echoed.
"And remember Austin always has the top bunk over Alan's,"
"How do I know which one is theirs?"
"Look for a name plate?" he offered.
"Thanks," I rolled my eyes. "Are the Mexican gangsters following me?"
"We'll be backing you up. We're bringing water guns and everything,"
"Is Pablo making an appearance?"
"Like he'd miss this," Vic grinned. I went into the bathroom to get changed. I changed into Vic's jeans and put my belt on to keep them up. Then I put his hoodie on. I walked out and Mike walked over to me. He put his hat on me and tucked my hair away.
"There you go," Mike smiled.
"Here," Jaime said and gave me a very realistic looking water gun.
"Erm . . . Thanks,"
"Ready?" Tony asked.
"Yeah," I nodded. We walked out of the bus all covered up. The boys were wearing black jeans, shirts and hoodies with hats and hoods and scarves over their mouths.
"I thought we'd never get to wear the King For A Day gear again," Jaime grinned.
"Why do you even have it?" I laughed.
"This is it," Mike told me. I saw a huge tour bus in front of us and we walked over to the door. Vic made his way to the front and keyed in the code. The door was pulled open and we rushed inside. There were three guys sitting in the front lounge and another two by the bunks.
"What the fuck?!" the one I guessed was Phil exclaimed. The boys ushered them all into the front lounge and started waving their water guns around. Austin tried to punch me but Mike stopped him.
"Where's the Pierce boys when you need them," Tino muttered.
"What's going on?!" Alan exclaimed once he'd walked out of the bathroom.
"The Mexicans are attacking," Austin said seriously.
"What?" Alan asked and I pointed my gun at him. I'm getting too carried away with this. I walked down to the bunks with Jaime and he gestured to two bunks. I started to look through until I found a pair of boxers on the bottom bunk. "Hey! Those are mine!" Alan yelled angrily, but Tony pushed him down. Jaime lifted me up onto the top bunk and I opened Austin's suitcase. I saw a pack of new briefs and opened them. I took a pair and jumped down.
"Do you know how much I spend on underwear!" Austin called.
"What do you want?" Aaron growled.
"Tacos!" Jaime said in a husky voice. I saw the other boys roll their eyes and I hit Jaime. He rubbed his arm and I glared at him.
"You idiot! Could you be more racist?" I demanded.
"We're allowed to be. Mexicans can take the piss out of Mexicans. Just like you can throw paella at Spanish people,"
"Why would she throw paella at someone?!" Mike called.
"So they are Mexican!" Tino declared.
"You've wrecked the atmosphere," Vic said.
"Can we add the paella to the list?" Tony asked.
"Her list?" Vic questioned.
"No, his list," I said and gestured to Jaime with my water gun.
"Erm . . . Sorry to interrupt. But I still don't know what you're doing here," Austin said.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry," I said and glared at Jaime. I walked over to them and bent down. The boys let them up a little and I took off my hat and pulled down my hood. They looked at me in shock for a moment and I grinned. "You're Austin Carlile right? And you're Alan Ashby?" I asked.
"Yeah," Alan said wearingly.
"Can you sign your underwear for me?" I asked seriously.
"You're serious?" Alan asked.
"Yeah,"
"Can you put the gun down?" Alan questioned. I rolled my eyes and threw the water gun to Tony.
"You want my underwear?" Austin asked.
"I do! But from what I hear you only wear them once anyway,"
"Where'd you hear that?"
"Vic," I replied easily.
"You blew our covers!" Jaime groaned.
"And you didn't do that by bringing up tacos?" I said dryly. The boys pulled their hoods down and pulled the scarves away from their faces. They slouched at bit and sat down on the sofa with me. The guys from Of Mice and Men stood up and half glared, half laughed.
"You bastards," Aaron shook his head.
"Should have known when he said the Mexicans were attacking," Alan added.
"Why do you guys have guns?" Austin asked.
"We're Mexican gangsters. It's what we do," Jaime shrugged.
"I'm Spanish!" I declared.
"She's Spanish," Vic confirmed.
"The paella makes more sense," Tino said.
"Don't encourage him," Tony said and looked at Jaime.
"Anyway, they're fake," Mike said and aimed it at me before shooting.
"Yeah," Austin commented as I spat out water. "Sorry, I don't know you," he said.
"Oh, I'm Kayleigh," I smiled.
"The girl with the list," Aaron stated.
"Is there anyone you haven't told?" I laughed.
"I doubt it," Phil added.
"So, can you sign it for me?" I asked again.
"Oh, sure. But why?" Austin asked.
"Everyone has a hobby?" Vic suggested.
"It's on my list. Steal Austin Carlile and Alan Ashby's underwear and get them to sign it,"
"That's a cool list," Alan nodded.
"Here," I said. I passed them their underwear and Alan grabbed a pen. He signed his pair and gave the pen to Austin. Austin signed his and passed them both to me. I nodded in thanks and stuffed them in my bag.
"You know mine were dirty," Alan said.
"Thanks," I muttered dryly.
"Why didn't you steal ours?" Tino asked.
"Take it out with my brother on your death bed?" I offered.
"We'll bare it in mind," Aaron laughed.
"Weird," Phil muttered.
"Think yourself lucky. She told Kellin from Sleeping his daughter has more talent that him," Vic laughed.
"I love this list!" Alan exclaimed.
