I walked with Tony and Jaime either side of me. Vic and Mike were walking a little ahead of us. I looked down at the list and Jaime laughed at me. “Do you think I have to know him?” I asked as we passed shops.
“It would help,” Jaime grinned.
“But then I could just run away,”
“Kay', it wouldn’t be very . . . lets say friendly if you just picked a random guy, kicked him and ran,” Tony explained.
“Does it hurt?”
“It’s fucking torture,” Jaime told me.
“Why?”
“Why?” Tony echoed.
“Because you’re getting kicked in that area!”
“Well, who shall I kick?” I asked.
“Not me,” Tony replied quickly.
“Don’t even think about it,” Jaime shook his head. “I’m still scarred from the last time,”
“Hey Mike!” I called. He turned around but I stopped walking.
“It’s him!” one girl squealed. I looked across the street and saw two girls hurry over. I watched them, they didn’t look like the usual PTV fans.
“Whiskey Hands!” the other girl called.
“Whiskey what?” I asked. Mike looked at the boys and they laughed.
“Wastey waste!” the first girl yelled happily.
“Am I supposed to know what all this means?” I asked.
“You don’t want to know,” Vic grinned.
“Can we have a picture? Can you sign our lighters?” they asked.
“Do they need help?” I questioned quietly.
“Probably,” Jaime shrugged.
“Sure,” Mike smiled. I watched as he signed things for them and they had pictures took.
“So?” I asked.
“So?” Mike urged.
“Who is Whiskey Hands?”
“A very talented rapper,”
“Really?” I asked and Vic snorted.
“Wait until we get back to the bus,” Mike told me. We walked across the street and to the venue. Across the street were two tour buses. We went inside the first and I went to sit at the table. Tony brought his iPad over to me and got up YouTube. He gave me some headphones and pressed play. I watched four young guys walk on screen. I looked at them and noticed one of them was a very young Mike and the other was a young Jaime. Music started and I frowned at the words when the scene went to an RV. Mike came on screen holding wads of money. I rolled my eyes and watched until the screen went black.
“Mike!” I called.
“Yeah?” he smiled and walked out of the bathroom.
“I need a word with Whiskey Hands,”
“Oh,” he muttered.
“Come on,” I urged.
“What’s up?” Mike asked.
“Mikey make that pussy wet,” I quoted.
“I didn’t actually say that part,” he defended.
“In another for the girl with the big old ass,”
“That you did say,” Jaime added.
“Thank you,” I said to Jaime. “By the way, don’t dye your hair again, you looked like a skunk,”
“Says the girl who had purple hair last week,” he laughed.
“Anyway, could you write more sexist lyrics?”
“Come on, it’s a joke. I don’t want the big old ass,” he tried.
“Why?” I asked. I stood up and folded my arms across my chest.
“We were bored,” Mike shrugged.
“We?” I questioned.
“Jaime was in on it to,”
“Whiskey Hands and the Skunk?” I asked and Jaime playfully glared at me. “Your fans are weird,”
“That I know,” Mike nodded. I grinned and turned away from him. “You ignoring me?” Mike asked and I could hear the humor in his voice. “Kayleigh,” Mike said. I shook my head and Mike grabbed me by the waist and turned me around. But on my way around my foot hit into something. I saw Vic bent over and holding his groin. My eyes widened and Mike let me go. “Shit,” Mike muttered.
“Vic?” I asked. He held his hand up in acknowledgement and I bent down. “Sorry,” I gasped. He shook his head and I saw his eyes were watering. “Oh god. What do I do?” I asked quickly. He shook his head again. “Do you need an ambulance? We need a paramedic!” I rushed, causing the boys to laugh.
“I . . . Erm . . . yeah,” Vic gasped for air. He started to limp down the bus and disappeared into his bunk.
“Sorry!” I called hopefully. “Is he okay?” I asked urgently turned back to the boys.
