Natalie walked out of the shower, towel wrapped tightly around her body as she walked to her closet. “Hey angel?” Austin asked, walking in and looking around. He had black slacks with his clean black converse and a red buttoned up dress shirt. “Have you seen my white tie? I can’t seem to find it.” Natalie turned to him and took out the hanger with her dress.
“I saw it hanging on the living room couch.” Austin looked up at her and she placed the dress on the bed. Austin walked up to her and smiled at the dress.
“Finally I get to see you in a dress. No jeans or T-shirts.” Natalie laughed and kissed his cheek moving away from his grasp.
“I have to change and so do you; we don’t have time to fool around.” She smiled. Austin rolled his eyes and pulled her closer to him.
“Just a quick one, please?” Austin gave Natalie puppy eyes and she sighed.
“I just took a shower, and I need to change. We’re already late Austin.” He sighed, slightly annoyed but didn’t let her go.
“Fine, but you’re not getting any tonight.” He kissed her and pulled away, going to the living
room.
“We’ll see about that.” Natalie told herself and changed into a pair of shorts and a random shirt. She brushed her hair, straightening it and fixing her bangs. She put on her make-up and stood up, taking her clothes off and putting her dress on. She slipped into her heels and heard footsteps walking to the room.
“Austin? Can you come in for a minute?” Natalie called out. The door opened and Austin poked his head in. His eyes nearly popped out of his face and Natalie giggled. “Can you zip me up, babe?” She asked, turning her back to him.
“Ye-Yeah, sure angel.” Austin stuttered and Natalie giggled softly again. She felt his hands grab the zipper and the dress and zip her up. He moved his hands to her neck and softly kissed it, giving her goose bumps from the bit of facial hair he was growing. He chuckled, moving his hands and placing something around her neck. Natalie felt the cool necklace touch her skin and once Austin latched it, she turned to the mirror, looking at her outfit. She saw the gold heart shaped necklace and she smiled, lightly touching it.
“Do you like it? My father gave it to my mother. The day she died, she gave it to me.” Natalie felt tears in her eyes and blinked them away. She turned to him and hugged him tightly.
“Thank you, baby.” Austin smiled, holding her close to him.
“Anything for you, angel.” Natalie pulled back, looking at his red shirt and tie. She fixed it a little before smiling again. She grabbed her red purse from the chair and looked inside. She saw her phone, camera, the portable battery charger and the extra memory cards she kept. She zipped the purse up, hanging it on her right arm and looking at Austin.
“Let’s go.” She said, and twined their hands together; walking out of the suit they were staying. They walked down to the lobby and out to Austin’s car which was left in the front by the valet. Austin opened the door for Natalie and she climbed in, putting her purse in her lap.Austin got in the driver’s side and turned the car on.
“You do know we will most likely see them right?” Austin asked. Natalie stayed quiet and nodded.
“Do they know about us?” She questioned. Austin shrugged, turning the corner to see the
line of cars ahead, waiting for their turn on the red carpet.
“They never asked when we spoke so I don’t have a clue.” Austin stopped the car behind a white one he knew was Oliver Sykes. “I’m with you though. You have me now, and I promise I won’t do something like that to you.” Natalie smiled leaning and kissing his cheek. She watched as they neared the front of the red carpet. Austin smiled, taking her hand and parking the car in front, leaving the key in. “Let’s do this.” Austin opened the door, earning screams from fans and camera flashes as people took photos of him. He walked around, opening the door for Natalie and she climbed out, smiling as people took photos of them together. A man that worked there took the car to park it and the couple walked hand in hand down the red carpet.
“I’m going inside, seems you have a small interview waiting for you.” Austin kissed her as a camera took the picture and she pulled away, rolling her eyes. She had just walked in when a wolf whistle caught her attention.
“I should really kidnap you Nat. You look amazing tonight.” Natalie turned seeing Jack Barakat with Ryan Dawson by the food table.
“Thanks Jack, how are you guys?” She asked, walking up to them.
“Pretty good, are you going to be our photographer for the tour?” Ryan asked. Natalie smiled, nodding her head and Jack gave her a high five.
“Totally awesome!” Natalie nodded seeing Alex Gaskarth walk up and he put his arm around her shoulder.
“You’re joining us? That’s great! You can stay in our bus, or with the other band!”
“Other band?” She asked, looking at Jack.
“When they get here you’ll see, but take a picture of us for right now. Where’s Zack?” Jack asked. Alex called Zack over who was talking to another band member and he ran over.
“Het Nat, what’s going on?” He asked.
“She’s taking a photo of us.” They stood side by side as Natalie took out her camera, aiming it at them.
“Alright, smile guys!” Natalie grinned, snapping a couple photos of them smiling and giving her a questioning look. She laughed, looking them over and nodded.
“They look amazing.” She smiled.
“Yes, you do look amazing.” Natalie turned and Oliver walked up to, holding Hannah’s hand. The couple hugged Natalie hello and she thanked them for the compliment. “So where’s Austin? Shouldn’t he be here right now?” Oli asked, looking around.
“He was getting an interview done by some lady.” Oli nodded and looked at Hannah who was eyeing Natalie’s neck.
“I love that tattoo. How long ago did you get it?” Natalie had a tattoo on her upper back of a tree, whose leaves blew away and turned into birds.
“Around a year ago, maybe a bit more.” Natalie smiled. Hannah looked at it and smiled.
“It looks perfect on you. Here, call me whenever you want one done and I’ll go over right away and do it.” Hannah gave Natalie a piece of paper with her phone number and Natalie put it in her purse.
“I’ve been meaning to actually get someone to do one for me. It’s a dream catcher but instead of the thread in the middle, it’s the Sempiternal cover. The whole album is very meaningful to me in so many ways.” Oliver smiled, hugging her one last time before he pulled back, hugging Hannah tightly.
“Mind taking a few of us?” He asked. Natalie shook her head, aiming her camera and snapping photos of them. Oli and Hannah left after that and all that was left was Natalie with Jack. She didn’t notice the others leave as well.
“They went to get the other band that’s touring with us.” Jack smiled. Natalie nodded and put her camera away. She felt arms snake around her waist and a familiar voice in her ear.
“Hey baby, do you like this so far?” Austin whispered. Natalie leaned back into his chest and turned to him.
“Yeah, it’s amazing.” Austin chuckled and the rest of the band piled in with their dates.
“I’ll be back; I’m going to say hi to Oliver and Hannah.” Natalie nodded, feeling his arms leave her as he walked away. Natalie looked at Jack and they talked a bit before Alex called them.
“Hey Nat, this is the other band we’re touring with.”
