"Why?" Tony asked, sitting across from me at the table under the catering tent. "Gaskarth? You can do so much better than him, Rys. Considering what he did to you in high school. I'm doing everything in my power to protect you from Vic, but instead you go with Gaskarth?"

I rolled my eyes at him. Yeah, I was with Alex, but this shouldn't concern anybody. Alex proved himself to me when we first spoke around a month ago. "You don't need to protect me, Tone. I'm fine, and I know Alex would never do anything like that again."

He shrugged. "Fine, if you don't want me to keep you safe than fine. But, I will always be here if you need it. I have to get going, bye Maryssa." he said. I waved him off and continued sitting at the table. I was left with a can of water and my thoughts. Having the talk I just had with Tony is making me begin to think. Was is good getting together with Alex? I'm happy with him, and I haven't been happy in awhile.

I was taken out of my thoughts when a pair of hands covered my eyes. "Guess who?" the voice cooed.

I laughed a little and removed the hands from my eyes turning to face the lovely Alex Gaskarth. He leaned down to kiss me and I let him. He pulled away and spoke "We go on soon, you going to watch?"

"Of course, but I have an interview, so I'll only be able to catch the last few songs," I assured him.

He smiled at me, "At least you're making the effort, munchkin."

After interviewing Taking Back Sunday, I headed over to Main, quickly flashed the security guard my pass and he let me back. I looked at the setlist taped on the table in the back and noticed I made it back in time for Dear Maria. Alex started it as the crowd sang along. It was so cute to see how happy he was on stage.

When the song ended, Zack and Jack, and Alex threw their picks in the crowd and Rian threw his drumsticks. They ran off stage and each engulfed my in a big sweaty hug. "You guys are nasty!" I whined. Alex came over and quickly kissed me, leading me off the stage with him.

"I've got a signing, I'll see you at the party."

I walked into the area where the party was being held, it was already in full swing and I was already being offered beers and drinks of some sort. There was screaming and yelling and music blasting. I have got to admit, Warped tour parties are pretty hype. I looked around for Alex but couldn't find him, but instead found Tony, who was standing with Jaime.

"Hey, Tone!" I perched, hugging my best friend. He smiled at me and I waved at Jaime. "No drinking you two?"

"We are the babysitters tonight," Jaime laughed. I laughed with him. "I'll be right back you guys, I'm gonna go hang with Zack." He walked away and it was just me and Tony.

"How you liking the party?" he asked me, his eyes focused somewhere else.

"It's alright, you?"

"I'm a little on the edge."

"About?"

"Vic."

The name made my stomach churn. "W-why?"

"He's planning something, and I don't want it to happen, but I'm not stopping him tonight."

"Oh," was all I could get out.

Tony and I stood there in an awkward silence for awhile before his eyes got wide. "Fuck!" he said before running off. I followed him and looked at the circle forming. In the circle was a crazy Vic Fuentes on top of Alex throwing punches. "What the fuck!" tony screamed pulling Vic off of Alex.

I ran and helped Alex up, making an awkward eye contact with Vic. I managed to get Alex back to the bus. I had him sit down while I put some warm water on a cloth. "Are you okay?" I asked, lightly dabbing his beaten in lip (beartooth reference ayy).

"yeah, he's drunk."

"I can tell. Why'd he do this?"

Alex looked up at me, pushing a piece of my loose hair behind my ear.

"He said he was in love with you and that you should be his, not mine."

I also want to apologize for this shitty chapter. It's a little filler and my computer is being ;aggy af rn and the typing is giving me a headache so yeah. And I also want to announce that I should be updating more but Idon't know. I've been really busy with school and shit so yeah!
