I sat silently across from Vic in the kitchen booth of Pierce The Veils bus. It had been ten minutes we had been sitting together in silence. Nothing could be heard except Jaime occasional loud laugh from the lounge area, I wonder what he's doing. "Hayley" Vic said bringing me out of my trance. "Yeah?" I replied. He looked like he was going to say something but changed his mind. "Come on, just say what you have to say" I shrugged. He sighed loudly and rubbed his face with his hands. "You're so damn confusing Hayley!" He suddenly snapped making me jump. "What? How? What did I do?" I questioned in confusion. "Your actions at the nightclub" He mumbled. "Look I don't even know what I done so please just tell me" I demanded. He huffed in annoyance. "You told me you loved me and wanted me back" He said looking me dead in the eyes. "If you don't think that is confusing then seriously, get a clue" He muttered. "Wait I said that?" I asked. He nodded slowly. "Well fuck" I sighed. "So it was just a lie?" He asked with a sad look on his face. "Vic I was drunk an-" "Was it true?" He demanded. Shit. "Vic please just-" "Hayley, stop the goddamn bullshit" He said standing up and began to walk out. I stood up and grabbed his arm. "Vic, don't just leave. Be mature about this" I said softly. He spun around and was closer to me than I expected. "Do you love me?" He said looking into my eyes. It was such and intense stare so I decided to try and make him laugh. "All you gotta do is say yes" I sung out and danced a little. He sighed and turned away again. I grabbed him and turned him back around. "Yes, I do okay" I said with defeat. He looked hopeful suddenly, which made my heart skip a beat. "So what does this mean for us?" He asked. "What do you mean?" I questioned. "Well we still love each other, shouldn't we get back together or something?" He said with a sad look on his face. "We didn't work out Vic" I said softly. "It caused so much hurt in the past" I tried to reason. "Then why say you want me when you're drunk. You must want me" He mumbled. "Sometimes you'll say anything when you're drunk" I said quietly. He squinted his eyes at me and nodded. "Fine" He said. "Let's be real here. You can deny this for as long as you want Hayley. You can shack up with whatever losers you want but you and me" He said pointing to each of us. "We're end game. Remember that" He smiled then walked out. Wait, did that actually just happen? Did he really just say that? Is he that fucking confident he'll get me? The scary part is I sorta want him to get me now, his confidence is enticing. I walked out of the kitchen area, through the bunks and into the lounge area where Vic, Jaime, Mike and Tony sat together watching TV. "I'll see you guys later, yeah?" I said to them. They all said bye and Vic gave me a look that said he was right. I went to my bus and went straight to my bunk. I didn't wanna face the drama with Jeremy. Taylor was nice enough to speak to me. He didn't want Jeremy to make things worse so he was gonna chat to him. Patrick's P.O.V Pete keeps nagging me about stuff. Mainly about my moping around, it has gotten worse. I know it's silly to get this hung up over a girl but she really makes me happy. I mean I have the biggest smile on my face right now just thinking about her, that's gotta mean something right? "Patrick stop daydreaming about her and go talk to her" Pete moaned for the tenth time today. "I'm not daydreaming, I'm wondering" I corrected. "Same thing really" Pete said rolling his eyes. "Whatever Pete" I laughed. "Besides she said she needed some time to think so that's exactly what I'm giving her. "Let me ask you something, is she really worth leaving your wife for?" Pete asked. "I mean she said she's unsure about continuing your, whatever this is between you guys. Gotta work out if she is really worth that other loss" He reasoned. "Don't get me wrong I love Hayley but you're my bro" Pete grinned at me. "Thanks but um she is worth it. Pete, let's be real here she'll come around eventually" I said confidently. "Or go and get her. Do something romantic or daring. Surprise her" Pete suggested. He was right, I should try and be romantic. I picked up my acoustic guitar and decided to do something unusual. "You're right Pete" I winked. He began clapping as I walked off the bus. I looked for Hayley's bus and then began to strum. "I don't know where you're going but do you got room for one more troubled soul? I don't know where I'm going but I don't think I'm coming home and I say, I'll check in tomorrow if I don't wake up dead" I sung out as loud as I could. Taylor walked off the bus, then Jeremy. "This is the road to ruin and we're starting at the end" Hayley suddenly appeared with a strange look on her face. "Let's be alone together, we can stay young forever, screaming from the top of your lungs. Say yeah" I sung directly at her. I stopped playing and smiled at her. "Whoa" She said stepping off the bus and stopping infront of me. "So um what do you say?" I asked. This is where I get rejected. She thought for a second then looked at Jeremy and Taylor. She turned her head back to me with a huge grin on her face. "Yes, I will be your girlfriend" She smiled. My heart skipped a beat, this was great news. I pulled her towards me and kissed her softly. When we pulled back she giggled. "Go get something pretty on, I'm taking you out for dinner" I smiled. She nodded and kissed my cheek. I watched her and the guys go back on the bus but I could sense some tension. I turned to walk back to my bus when I seen Vic standing outside his bus. He looked angry, well this is just great.
