I woke in a haze, a rumble of thunder shook through the bus. I rubbed my eyes and climbed out of my bunk. Things were still bad between me and Jeremy. He wouldn't talk to me but I guess I haven't exactly been the easiest person to be around. A few unnecessary comments have been shared, I'm sick of it. I thought because me and Patrick got together that Jeremy would stop being dramatic but I guess not. We were in Texas today but by the sounds of it things weren't great. Texas is known for really bad storms and it sounds like we were gonna have one today. I got dressed and decided to go to the lounge area but no one was there. Strange. I walked off the bus and looked at the sky. It was grey and gloomy, making me shudder slightly. The air was hot but there was no sign of sunlight which made the atmosphere nerve racking. I shook off the feeling and began to walk through the buses. It was eerily quiet today. Usually you could hear all the kids talking and cheering but nothing. There was just nothing. When I got to the main stage I couldn't find anybody. There was no one around. Anywhere. Panic began to set in and I reached to my pocket to pull out my phone but it wasn't there. The realisation hit me that I left it under my bunk. Shit. I turned to go back to the bus when suddenly a roar of thunder filled the sky. I looked up and seen a shot of lightning across the sky. A few drops fell from the sky slowly. One plopped onto my head, then a few more until it was pouring down. The thunder cracked in the sky. The wind picked up and I began to get a really weird feeling in my stomach. I broke out into a run, the rain on the ground splashed under my shoes and my body was soaked. The rain was heavy and warm at the same time. My heart was beating rapidly and my head was pounding. I got to my bus and opened the door. As i placed my right foot onto the steps to run in my foot slipped and I fell to the ground in a loud thud. My knees scrapped the ground and my jeans ripped at the knees. I cursed outloud and grabbed my knees. Red liquid poured out of both knees. Both gashes looked really deep and the blood was so thick. I pulled myself up and climbed up the stairs. The rain was dripping off my body. "Guys?" I called out. Nothing. "Jeremy? Taylor?" I called out again but nothing. I walked through the bus and got to my suitcase. I pulles out a pair of loose shorts and longsleeve shirt. I got changed quickly and then went back to my bunk. I grabbed my phone and noticed 11 missed calls, 32 text messages and a voicemail. That's a little unusual. I pressed play on the voicemail. "Hayley answer your phone. Where are you? There has been a tornado warning in the area and the whole place has been evacuated. Why didn't you come. Please just answer your phone, everyone is worried" Taylor said frantically down the phone. I dialed Taylors number. "Hayley oh my god where are you?" He panicked down the phone. "I'm on the bus, why it can't be that bad?" I said calmly. "Hayley this tornado is suspected to be the worst in America for the past 10 years. The whole state is under extreme warning Hayley you gotta get out of there" Taylor panicked. "Where will I go? Where are you guys?" I asked. I heard some rumbling and Taylor asked something. "Hayley where are you, I'm coming to get you" I heard. "Vic?" I asked. "Yes now tell me where you are" He demanded. "Vic I-" I said but there was a loud thud outside. "Hold up" I said and walked out to the front of the bus. I looked outside to see a huge tornado swirling around at the mainstage area where I was only 20 minutes ago. "Vic... it's like right infront of me" I said down the phone. "Hayley get out of there" He shouted. I ran off the bus but slipped on the stairs. I screamed out as I smacked my head off the concrete. All I could hear was Vics voice through my phone. "Hayley... Hayley? Why won't you answer me? what was that scream for?" His voice frantic. Then everything went black. Vic's P.O.V "Vic... it's like right infront of me" Hayley said softly into the phone. Shit. "Hayley get out of there" I shouted. I heard her footsteps off the bus then a loud thud, like her phone hit the ground. She let out a pained scream. My heart was racing. "What was that? Hayley... Hayley? Why won't you answer me? What was that scream for?" I said down the phone with panic in my voice. There was nothing. All I could hear was the destruction that was around her. I had to do something. I gave Taylor his phone back and ran over to the nearest car that had evacuated us. We were about a mile or so from the Warped site. "Sir you can't do that" Some guy tried to stop me. I turned to him and laughed. "You fucking missed someone when you "evacuated us" so yeah I will do this" I said using airquotes. I got into the car and luckily the keys were luckily still in the car. I turned the car on and drove away towards the danger and destruction. Okay I know Hayley is with Patrick and it should be him rescuing her but I bet he hasn't even noticed that she wasn't evacuated. I bet he doesn't know the danger she is in. I'm risking my life for her right now and he doesn't even know it. Within minutes I was back into the parking lot of Warped. The buses looked fine and the tornado had passed on by. I drove as close to the buses as I could then climbed out. I ran through the buses until I seen Hayleys lifeless looking body lying on the floor. There was blood pouring out of her head and she looked dead. I ran up to her and felt her for a pulse. It was incredibly weak but still there. I picked her up and took her back to the car. I drove her back to the area where we were evacuated to. I lifted her out of the car. Taylor, Jeremy, Mike, Jaime, Tony and Jenna surrounded me. "What happened to her?" Jenna asked with shock on her face. "I don't know but it's bad" I explained. "She's hit her head real bad" I said. "We need to get her to a hospital" Mike demanded. Mike got into the drivers seat, Jenna in the passenger, Jeremy and Taylor in the back with me and Hayley. Jaime and Tony were going to find another way to get to the hospital. 4 hours later... "Mr Vic Fuentes" I heard. I looked up to see a doctor standing infront of me. I stood up and nodded. She smiled polietly. "Miss Williams is awake now but there is some bad news" She said with a sad look on her face. "What?" I asked. "She has suffered from a mild concussion. It has been controlled and dealt with but the blow to her head was so severe that she has suffered memory loss. She has lost the last 6 years of her life basically" The doctor explained. "Is it permanent?" I asked. "We don't know. It could last an hour it could last a year. My advice is try to do small things to trigger her memory but take it slow" She smiled. "You and your friends can go see her now". "Thank you" I thanked her and went back to the guys. "What's the verdict?" Taylor spoke up. "She has memory loss... she can't remember the last 6 years" I said softly. Everyones faces dropped. "Should we go see her?" Taylor suggested. Everyone nodded and we made our way to her room. Taylor and Josh walked in first. Her face lit up when she seen them. "Guys! Where have you been?" She asked with a grin. "Sorry we were talking to the doctor" Taylor spoke up. "It don't matter but um who are all these dudes and um where's Josh and Zac?" She asked. Taylor and Jeremy exchanged looks. "Hayley we have to talk to you about something really..-" Jeremy began but was interrupted by the room door opening. I turned to see who it was and Patrick stumbled into the room. "I'm sorry I came as soon as I heard. Why didn't anyone tell me?" He asked giving us strange looks. He went up to Hayley and hugged her. She looked at him funny. "Guys... what's going on?" She looked at Jeremy and Taylor for help. "You were in an accident Hayley... you've had memory loss" Jeremy said softly. "Wait what?!" She said confused. This is going to be a difficult one to deal with...
