We Can Sing This On The Way Home
Prologue.
Whilst taking it in turns to watch out for any passing security guards, two dedicated followers of the popular band, Pierce The Veil, roam around their idol’s dressing room; looking through each of the drawers and picking up little items such as family photographs, beer cans and game controllers, everyday band items that didn’t have any personal meaning to either of the girls that were snooping around without permission. For any follower of the band this would be a dream come true, an ideal opportunity, to get a personal insight into their lives...even if it did mean missing the last few songs of the set.
Without a seconds warning, the muffled drum beats and screeching guitar riffs of the bands last song fades out only to be replaced by the roar of the cheering crowd until that was all that could be heard throughout the deserted backstage corridors.
“Erm…hey, Rachel?” The eldest of the two girls speaks up nervously from her position at the dressing room door.
“Hmm?” The younger girl, known as Rachel Masters, hums lightly, her mind in a state of daydream as she rifles through the contents of one of the band members backpack, out of curiosity more than anything else.
“I think that they’re coming back…” The older girl, Lottie Matthews, replies as she closes the door to the dressing room and takes a rushed step into the room and over to where Rachel stood, her voice filled with desperation and panic.
“Oh. Shit.”
The sound of the cheering crowd was quietening down into an excited buzz of chatter as the fans start to make their way excitedly through the doors of the venue towards the merchandise tables and exits. Throughout the backstage corridors, the only sound that could be heard was the approaching footsteps of either the band or security guards. The two girls freeze in their spot, knowing all too well that it doesn’t matter who it was that was making their way towards the dressing room right now they were still going to be caught and in so much trouble.
“We can‘t just stand here like a couple of deers caught in the headlights of a passing truck, we have to make a run for it now.” Lottie whispers to her friend who just ends up nodding in response.
As the door to the dressing room starts to open, the voice of Mike Fuentes - the very tall and attractive drummer of Pierce The Veil - can be heard on the other side. Before he can even comprehend what is going on, the two girls make a run past him.
“Hey, how’d you…” Mike starts to call out after them but they didn’t dare look back at him, they just carried on heading for the nearest exit of the venue.
To anyone else, getting caught in a band’s dressing room by one of the band members themselves would be a dream for some fan girls, and more than likely fan boys too, but if you were Lottie or Rachel, then you would just prefer to run. It’s not that they didn’t want to meet any of the band members because they honestly did, they just didn’t want to be recognised through fear of them being talked about in interviews for whichever magazine or fan site that wanted to know the answer to the ‘what’s the weirdest / scariest fan encounter that you have experienced?’ question.
No, the safest option for them was to run and never look back at the confused drummer that still remained stood in the doorway of the now vacant dressing room, his mind working on overtime to try and work out who the mysterious girls were that just pushed past him.

Okay, so I thought that I'd try and write something a little different to what I've previously written before and as a result of searching through my old laptop, I came across an un-worked version of an old idea that includes a couple of Original Characters. So, I hope that you enjoy it and don't worry, All Time Low will be introduced, sort of, in the next chapter!- SoWrongItsLottie
Another update will be up the day after tomorrow as I'm seeing Green Day tomorrow so I won't be able to update until Thursday :)
