Tony and Mike straggled behind Vic and Jaime, who were running ahead and acting like complete goofballs on the way to the nearby restaurant. They kept making weird faces at their reflections in the windows of random shops and pole dancing on the streetlight poles. Tony laughed at them. Those two were always so silly. It was what made them so likable. While he and Mike were more reserved.

When they came in sight of the restaurant, Jaime and Vic came running back. Vic jumped on Mike, yelling something about him being the best brother ever. Jaime also decided to give Tony some affection, jumping up and wrapping an arm around him. When he came back down, the two almost fell.

“I love you man,” Jaime laughed as the two regained their balance.

“Yeah,” Tony said, also laughing, “I love you too bro.” Of course, those words held a little more meaning for Tony. Especially when Jaime kept his arm around his shoulders as they finished the short distance to the restaurant. It wasn’t anything special or anything. The entire band was comfortable with hugging each other and such. Especially two little goofballs, Jaime and Vic. They were the most touchy feely. Not that Tony minded.

Once inside the restaurant, Jaime’s arms left Tony’s shoulders. Tony ignored the empty feeling that its absence caused. Instead he followed the pretty blonde waitress to their table.

Mike and Tony sat on one side, leaving Vic to sit in front of his little brother and Jaime across from Tony. Naturally, Tony kept noticing every little thing Jaime did. The way he looked around at the people, the way he flipped pages of his menu, the facial expressions he made at the choices. Tony tried not to notice.

The waitress came back. “Would you guys like any drinks?”

Mike smiled at her, “Surprise me, gorgeous.”

She turned pink and got the rest of their drinks, which all happened to be alcoholic.

“I feel like getting wasted!” Vic exclaimed.

“Hell yeah!” Jaime agreed, high-fiving the shorter guy.

That’s when a group of girls came up. They all looked to be in their late teens to early twenties and were super pretty. “Oh my god, are you guys Pierce The Veil?”

“Si senoritas,” Jaime said, showing off a little bit of Spanish. “We are los Pierce The Veils.”

The girls squealed and asked for pictures. Tony grit his teeth at the girls taking pictures with Jaime, despite the fact that they were taking pictures with all of them. Again, he pushed those thoughts out of his head and just smiled for the pictures.

“You don’t know how excited we are to meet you guys,” a girl with black hair and wearing random pieces of band merch said. “Like, I really just want to sit and talk with you guys.”

“We’ll have a table pushed up then,” Jaime said.

“Oh my god, really?” the girl asked.

“Yeah,” Vic answered. “We’re always happy to hang with our fans.”

Mike got that waitress he kept flirting with to get a table pushed up to theirs and the girls sat down eagerly. They chatted nonstop and Tony just drank his drink, only half listening to the story the girl next to him was spinning.

He couldn’t stop noticing the girl next to Jaime being really touchy with him. Jaime didn’t really seem interested in her, only drinking and having a good time. But still, it really ate Tony up inside.

This is getting out of hand, Tony thought. He looked at the bottom of his cup, now empty. Yeah, it’s a good night to get drunk.
