Doesn't Really Matter
Two - Getting Ready
Tony was lying in his bunk with his laptop on his lap. He was watching Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back for probably the millionth time. Of course, Star Wars never got old for him. No matter how many times he watched it, he always became oblivious to the chaos around him. And he liked it that way.
Of course, when he felt someone climb next to him on his bunk and pop an earbud out of his ear, he became aware of all the noise around him. He took a moment to glare at Jaime. But that anger faded away the moment he looked at the man. Jaime, wearing nothing but a pair of shorts, was lying next to Tony and watching Star Wars with him. He could be mad at him.
The part where Han had been captured and was about to be frozen and carbonite came up. Jaime, be the humorous guy he was, said, “I love you,” in a high-pitched voice the same time as Princess Leia.
Tony smiled and deepened his voice and said, “I know,” at the same time as Han Solo.
The two started laughing then. After their laughing died down, Tony smiled at the thought of Jaime was always able to make him laugh and feel happy. Being around him was enough to push away his depression.
Jaime smiled at Tony. “So Turtle, you coming out for dinner and drinks with us?”
“Sure,” Tony replied. “What kind of restaurant?”
“Mexican.” Jaime said with a laugh that Tony had to smile back at. Then Jaime playfully hit Tony’s arm, “Get ready dude. We’re leaving soon.”
Jaime slid out of Tony’s bunk. Tony watched the way his body moved, admiring how nice it was. Jaime could easily claim being the sexiest Pierce The Veil member from his body alone. It was all tight and toned while Tony just poked at his belly fat.
“Oh hey, Tony,” Jaime called, regaining Tony’s attention.
“Yeah?” Tony asked.
“Let me borrow a shirt. All of mine are dirty,” Jaime demanded.
So that’s why he’s shirtless, Tony thought. Then he reached into his suitcase and provided a sleeveless blue shirt for Jaime. Tony really liked how blue look on the other man and thought that he should show off his tats more.
“Thanks mayne,” Jaime said as he pulled Tony’s shirt on him.
“No problem,” Tony replied, slightly disappointed at not being able to see his body. But he knew he’d see it again many times in the future. They were in a constantly touring band after all.
“Well let’s go,” Jaime said, pulling Tony up.
Tony laughed and put a hat on his head, following the boys outside.
