Why does this have to happen to me?
EVAN P.O.V
I laid awake watching Addy sleep. She was so beautiful I couldn’t even describe it. We have been together for about 3 years we got together about a year before she stopped radiation but have been friends since birth. When I found out that she had cancer I cried for days just wanting to take the pain from her I mean she was my best friends and I would do anything for her. We shaved our heads together when she started radiation so people at school didn’t find out we told them that we were trying out new hairstyles. Before I asked Addy out when we were 13 I asked her dad if I could talk to him alone for a while.
FLAHBACK…………………..
I walked up to the front door of the Perry house with sweaty palms. Once I reached the door I contemplated whether I should ask or not but decided that it was for the best if I wanted him to say yes. I knocked and I tried to calm my nerves.
“Hi Evan Addy is out with her mother right now do you want me to tell her that you stopped by?” Tony asked and I shook my head.
“No Tony that is okay I am actually here to see you, would it be okay if I came in and we could talk?” Tony moved out of the way and we walked into the living room to sit down.
“So what brings you here today Evan” Tony chuckled as he shifted in his seat and took a sip from his drink. I smiled and took a deep breath before speaking.
“Well I was wondering if I could ask Addy to be my girlfriend? I wanted to talk to you about it first” I was probably speaking about a mile a minute but all I could think about was the answer to my question.
“I appreciate that you came to talk to me before you went ahead and asked my daughter to go out with you and I really trust you because you and Addy have been friends since the day you were born so I am going to say yes” I smiled and thanked him.
“will you tell Addy I stopped by and have her meet me at my house for dinner?” Tony nodded and with that I left the house feeling like a new kid.

“Good morning beautiful, How are you?” I asked as Addy woke up.
“I am doing good” She pulled me down for a kiss. I kissed her back and I felt like everything in the world was perfect just as long as I was with her.
ADRIANNA’S P.O.V
He pulled me closer into the kiss and I couldn’t help but feel the need to be closer with him. I knew I wanted all of him in every way possible. I stopped the kiss before something else happened.
“Are you okay?” He asked and I nodded.

I walked out from the back of the bus and sat next to my dad. I snuggled in close to him and put my arms around him. I only did this when I wasn’t feeling well and today was one of those days.
“Hey ads how are ya feeling?” I shook my head.
“I was feeling good when I woke up but I got dressed and I don’t feel well anymore” I stated and Uncle Jaime spoke up.
“Well it could be from last night she did drink a lot” I shot him a glare.
“No its not from that and I didn’t drink that much. Its not a stomach ache or a head ache I feel like something is really wrong” Moms head shot up.
“Well we should really take you to the doctors to be sure” I sighed agreeing. I got up to go find Evan and let him know that I had to go to the doctors. I found him sleeping again.
“Hey Adrianna how are you feeling this morning?” It was Jesse. Jesse was like my second dad he was the only one from the band that knew about my cancer.
“Not good I have to go to the doctors” He came up and hugged me.
“I hope it is nothing serious and that you feel better” I thanked him and told Evan that I was going.
AT THE DOCTORS. …………………….
“Ms. Perry I am sorry to say that your cancer is back and that you will have to start radiation therapy again” I broke down into tear right there in my father’s arms.
“Why me why does this always have to happen to me. Just when my life is going good something has to come along and fuck shit up” I asked
“I don’t know sweetie but we are all here for you” I smiled knowing that was true but I couldn’t help but feel sad.
