*Copeland’s POV*

No! I was ready to tell him. After all those wonderful sentences he put together for me, I was ready. And Vic ruined it.

And Jaime…I could never forgive him. I didn’t actually run away because of him. I ran away because of depression. But Jaime was the reason why I cut in the first place.

“Cope, we’re so glad you’re ok!” Jaime shouted running over to hug me. He practically squeezed the air out of my lungs. “I’m happy now! You have no clue what we went thr-”

“Actually, I do. Tony told me everything. Literally, everything.” He told me that I was special and to not worry about everyone else. Just to be me and live my life.

“Tony,” Vic directed towards Tony. He looked him dead in the eyes. Holy shit! I’ve never seen that look before and it kinda scared me. “Kitchen…now.” Tony stood up and Vic followed behind me.

Jaime sat on the couch texting the others, telling them that Tony found me. I ignored his act and ran near the kitchen door to listen to what Vic was about to express to Tony.

*Tony’s POV*

Great. What the hell did I do now? I just saved a life and now Vic was about to give me a lecture?

He pushed me against the stove. “Oww! Are you out of your mi-” and then I got a huge sting of pain to my face. I gotta admit, Vic’s slaps are hard and they hurt like a bitch! “What the fuck is wrong with you?!”

“No! What the fuck is wrong with you?!”

Huh? “What?”

“You know what Perry!” Actually, I really don’t know what he’s talking about. “Why didn’t you call or notify us when you found Copeland?!”

Erm? “We needed to have a chat first.”

“Bullshit! Jaime had a fucking breakdown 15 minutes ago! He was giving up and I told him we can push through this. That we’ll find her and to never give up! I grabbed him by the shirt and forced him up from the ground and told him that we should check her house. To see if she returned home. Oh, and whatta know?! The fucking light is on when we pull up in the drive way! You’re a dick for not telling us that you found her.”

Ok, this fucker is really starting to piss me off. I got up in his face. A little too close. “Listen to me, you bastard ass peasant…”

*Copeland’s POV*

I kept all ears on Vic and Tony in the kitchen. I glanced at Jaime a couple times to see him fidgeting on the couch. “Hime?”

“Hmmm,” he said turning to me.

“I’m actually happy that you told on me,” I confessed.

He stood up and walked over to me with nervousness in his voice. “Oh, about that. Listen Cope, I didn’t mean-”

“Wait, let me finish,” I started moving closer to him. “I knew you couldn’t keep my secret. But telling my dad that..that’s huge. But running away helped me get my head on straight.”

“Well, damn, if it looked crooked to me, I would’ve called you an ambulance," he joked.

I cracked a smile on my face. Giggling, I responded, “Oh, Jaime. You’re still hilarious! I know you couldn’t live not to tell my dad though. I’d be pissed if someone kept a secret like that from me too! But my point is, I’ll never forgive you but I will move on from this point.”

“I know. I’m really sorry! I wish there was something I could do to make you happy.”

“There is. Promise me that you won’t speak of this to anyone? This whole conversation and me disappearing stays with our family and friends, no one else.”

He smile at me. “Ok, I promise.”

“Now give me a hug, ya goof!” He picked me up and swirled me around the living room.

“Listen to me,” we heard Tony say to Vic through the other room.

“Should we go check on them?” Jaime suggested, pointing to the door.

“You bastard ass peasant…” Tony continued.

We heard a squeal come from Tony’s mouth. Jaime and I pushed open the door. They directed their attention to me as I made my voice heard. “What’s going on in here?” I asked staring at Tony who was on the tile floor, cupping his cheek.

“You asshole! Don’t you ever talk to me like that!” Vic screamed towards Tony.

“Stop yelling at him!” I bellowed at Vic. I ran to Tony who was still on the cold floor. I leaned his head on my chest and stroked his hair. I put his arm around my neck.

“Leave him alone, Vic. He didn’t do anything,” Jaime uttered softly.

Vic seemed like he was out of breath or something. Like he just ran a marathon or some shit.

I whispered in Tony’s ear, “Are you okay?”

“Yeah,” he said back.

I looked at Vic, “What’s wrong with you?”

“This piece of shit... is useless and unneeded.... he’s a dumbass!”

“If it wasn’t for this dumbass, I wouldn’t be alive!” I added what I thought was needed. Tony needed all they defending he could get knowing he probably wouldn’t stand up for himself. “Tony is my savior. He’s beautiful and definitely not a piece of shit. His words help me rise from my ashes. If you really knew him, you would know how generous, caring, shy, quiet, and reserved he is. He’s well known of his surroundings. He’s an amazing person. He helps you through the good times and the bad times.Tony Perry is my everything…and…”I looked at Tony who already happened to be glaring at me. “…and…I love him.”

Tony popped the biggest smile on his face.

Wow. That felt great to say out loud.

“Oh, oh god,” Vic stammered. His body was shakily swerving to the side. Why? Because I said that I loved Tony? Now he really looked like he was out of air.

“It’s funny you mention that because…I love you too.” Tony spoke out. He kissed me on the cheek and released my grip to his. I didn’t care if Jaime or Vic saw him kiss me… this time.

And out of nowhere, A slam to the ground Vic’s body went. Head first and back booming through the hard floor.

What the hell just happened?

Me and Tony watched as Vic laid there, not moving a muscle. Jaime forcefully threw his body to the ground, checking on him. He gently slapped his face around a couple times hoping he would move or talk or something.

“Vic?! Victor…Fuentes!…..Vic!…Fuentes, wake up…….Victor...Vic!”
