All Again For You

Why Can't I Feel Anything For Anyone Other Than You?

The view in front of me went from black to showing a first fuzzy, then clear screen of Mike's face. A smile quickly grew on my lips as he grinned from ear to ear. "Lucy!" He shouted happily.

"Hey baby! I miss you!" I frowned, but it faded instantly because just staring at his face brought me happiness.

"I miss you too, princess! Where's my son?" He questioned, speaking of Ludo.

"He's sleeping right here." I gestured to the space in front of me on the bed. "How's the tour going?"

"Fucking amazing. We're only two weeks in and it's been incredible! I can't wait to see you in a couple of days." A infectious smirk formed on his face, causing my heart to leap.

"Dude, I know! And then the next day is when my review for the album comes out." I sang.

"Oh fuck." A voice in the background said, then Jaime's spiked face came on the screen next to Mike's. "Lucy, what if you write that it sucks?!"

I grinned evilly, "You'll find out in three days, sucka."

"So you've been listening to it?" Mike asked curiously.

I nodded, "I sure have. I got it this week. I've listened to it about two times already."

"So, what does that mean?" He pressed on, trying to get me to spill my thoughts on the new record.

"I don't want to tell you. But, I will hint that this is probably my longest review that I've ever written."

"Fuck, that could mean anything!" Jaime shouted throwing his arms up in the air.

Mike laughed, "You suck, you know?"

"I know. Oh my god, get Vic, I have to tell him something."

Mike shouted, "Vic! Come here, Luce has to tell you something."

Moments later, Vic walks up, his long hair swinging has he stopped in front of the camera. "What's up?"

"I ran into that girl that you were talking to last year, Rachel?"

His eyes widened, "Oh my god, what happened?"

"So, I was with Brandon and Katelynne at this show for an interview, it was Mayday Parade, and she was there. We were at the bar part watching the opening bands and she comes up to me and starts screaming, 'Oh my gosh, Lucy! Hey! How've you been? How's Vic?' Like that's what she said to me."

"No fucking way. She's psychotic, dude." Vic said making Mike laugh. "Is that all she said to you?"

"No, she kept talking but I wasn't paying attention to her." I smiled sweetly.

Mike glared at Vic, "Can I talk to my girlfriend, now or?"

Vic nodded, then said bye to me, walking away. Mike put his headphones in so only he could hear me, but I could hear everything over there, "Ah, I'm all yours."

"You should pretend that we're like having Skype sex and moan so the guys will hear because that'd be funny as fuck." I giggled, already imagining the guys' faces.

Mike laughed, "Okay, but why do we have to pretend?" He winked jokingly, and I rolled my eyes. He began to laugh again and his nose scrunched up and I could have died in that moment because of how cute he looked. Man, I have a gorgeous boyfriend.

A moment later, Mike's face got serious and he moved the laptop to where only he could see me and he shot me a smile then started moaning and saying my name, it went on for about thirty seconds before I heard shouting such as, "Wow Mike! What the fuck! Stop that shit!"

Once we heard that reaction, him and I erupted into laughter. We couldn't stop laughing when Vic's face appeared on the screen when him and the guys realized it was a joke. "You two are assholes." And in turn, it made Mike and I laugh more.

Him and I talked for another hour or so, just about things we've missed since the last time we talked. Ludo was sleeping on Mike's side of the bed and it made me sad. It was so weird not having him here. I had forgotten what it was like to sleep alone, since I had Mike there in my bed since last Christmas. I didn't like it one bit.

We hung up and I decided to finish up my review on Pierce the Veil's new album, then send it to Marc so he could edit it. I was stoked to have everyone read this because this review was not like my other ones. This was personal, and I had let everyone in on my thoughts. The music world had quickly found out about mine and Mike's relationship. He'd get asked in interviews about dating someone in the music magazine scene and he'd respond. The AP staff would ask me what it felt like to be writing about the band that my boyfriend is in and I'd respond. It was something really cool for the people around us, I assume. It didn't bother me that they were interested, though.

Even my boss, Mike Shea, the CEO of Alt. Press, was super stoked on my relationship. I told him Mike and I had a past, before I became a writer, before Pierce the Veil hit it big, and he loved that. He told me, "I love a story where two people can part and find their way their back to one another because that means it's real." He didn't want me to do everything PTV related, but he said some things just needed the "Lucy Touch" and this review was one of them.

Brandon laid on my bed as I stood in my closet looking for something to wear tonight to the guys' show. "I wish you had an eye for fashion." I whined, looking through my clothes.

"I wish you would just shut up." He joked, playing with Ludo.

"I don't want to look like a groupie bitch."

"But you aren't one. You are actually in a relationship with a member of the band, not just there to fuck him."

"I want to look nice, though."

"You could wear pajamas and Mike would still think you're the most beautiful person in the world, so I don't think it matters, Luce."

I walked out of the closet and stared at him, dramatically placing my hand over my heart, "Oh my god, that's the nicest thing I've ever heard you say."

He laughed, "It's true! You know it is. I need to tell him to put a ring on it, already."

"Why?" I asked, making a face.

"What? You don't want to marry him?"

"Of course I do. I don't see myself being with anybody else, but you should already know that him and I aren't into doing what others want. We have always gone with the flow of things, always."

He smirked, "Oh, I know. I'm just saying."

I raised an eyebrow, "Anyway, how's your wedding planning going?" I asked, continuing to pull things out of my closet, so I could put pieces together to make an outfit.

"Good. We don't want a huge thing. Just who we know and love. We just want to get married."

I smiled once I reached the bed. For two reasons: One, because I finally found what I was going to wear. And, two, because Brandon, the reformed-slut, was marrying the girl of his dreams after nine years of being together. "I'm happy for you two."

"And, I'm happy for you and Mike. How'd we get so lucky?" He asked the question that I had asked him seven years ago, as we were in my old apartment, finding myself an outfit for a Pierce the Veil show. And, I still didn't have an answer, and neither did he. We don't know how we landed two incredible people, him getting Stephanie's attention as he made her her Starbucks beverage that fateful day, or how I landed Mike, the moment I shook his hand as his team member. Yet, we were still so very lucky, and we both knew that.

I knew that he was thinking the same thing that I was, because he was smiling. It'd been seven years after we had a conversation regarding Mike and Stephanie, a lot changing in those seven years, but we were even happier now than we were then. Oh, how some things never change.

Once I had showered, and let my hair fall into it's messy waves, I had done my makeup. Brandon left home to get ready, and came back by the time I had just buttoned those faux leather pants that Mike seemed to love. I ran to the door, letting Brandon in. He was wearing black skinny jeans, not too skinny, and a red flannel with a UNIF cutoff shirt underneath. His black Vans were on his feet and a black beanie sat on his head. He was concert-ready. "Are you almost done?" He asked me as we walked to mine and Mike's bedroom.

"I just need to put on my shoes and get my purse ready. Oh, and remind me to bring that pack of chonies that Mike wanted me to get him."

He rolled his eyes, "I will. Hurry up. I need alcohol in my system, son. I love how you buy him underwear." He laughed, holding the pack of boxer-briefs in his hand, then placing them back on the bed.

"Why is that so funny? He likes fresh undies." I smiled, throwing my makeup bag, perfume, charger, chapstick, wallet, and keys from my main purse, into the one I'd be using today.

"Because that's so wifey of you. Steph doesn't buy me underwear."

"Shut up." I chuckled, grabbing my maroon hat and placing it on top of my head.

"Cool purse." He said, pointing to my bag.

"Thanks, Mike got it for me for no fucking reason. He saw me obsess over it at the Topshop store here in LA but I didn't buy it, so three days later, he comes home from the studio and he had bought it for me. I almost cried." I explained the story to Brandon as I admired the bag myself.

"Well, isn't he the romantic guy?"

"It's not necessarily romantic just buying me stuff, it's the gesture. It's the surprise of it all, you know? He didn't have to, and I didn't even want him to, but he did it anyway, and I quote, 'Just to see me smile.'"

"He said that? What a pussy."

"And that's why he gets laid more than you do, and that's why he gets blowjobs more than you do." I laughed, giving Ludo a kiss, then opening the front door so we could leave.

Brandon laughed loudly at my comment as he shut the front door, and walked to his car. "Touche, my dude. Touche."

We drove to the venue, and after finding the perfect parking spot, we got out, and went in through the front. Brandon and I took it upon ourselves to actually buy tickets, even though I was dating a member of the band and had access though Alt. Press Magazine, but we just wanted to support the bands. We were at the bar getting a couple of drinks in us before we went backstage.

I had a downed two whiskey-Coke's and Brandon had a couple of beers, getting one for each of us right before we went to the back. I showed the bodyguard my Alt. Press pass, and Brandon showed him one that I gave him, and he nodded letting us in. We walked happily to the dressing rooms and knocked on the door that had a paper over it, and it black typed letters it read, Pierce the Veil Dressing Room. A moment later, the door opened showing Casey's face as it brightened up that it was us. "Hey guys!"

I gave him a hug, "Hey dude."

Brandon greeted him and we walked in, Casey shutting the door. I spotted Mike digging through his bag and I made my way over to him, pinching his butt once I reached him. He jumped up and turned around, his eyes growing at the sight of me. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Baby, I'm so happy to see you!" He yelled, still hugging me, still spinning us around in circles.

I kissed his lips once I decided to stop hugging him, and he kissed me back, finally putting me down. The smile on his face didn't leave him, and he kissed me again. We parted and everyone in the dressing room was looking at us with giant grins plastered across their faces. "What?" I asked, laughing a little.

"I mean, that was cute as fuck." Jaime smiled, his dimples showing hard.

"What? I missed my man." I hugged Mike's torso.

"Hi to you too, Luce." Vic smiled at me.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you guys were here, too." I let go of Mike and hugged Jaime, Tony, and Vic, doing my best to knock each of them down in the process; failing.

Brandon went up to Mike and they hugged, slapping each other's backs. I went back to Mike and he smirked at me, looking me up and down. "What?" I asked, placing my purse beside his bag of clothes.

"I see you're wearing those pants I like." He grinned, devilishly.

"I am."

"She wanted to look cute and not groupie-like." Brandon added as he sat down, taking sips of his beer. My beer still sitting next to him.

"You always look cute though." Mike said, smiling down at me.

"See? I told you." Brandon interjected.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes at Brandon and looked at Mike, happily. I missed the fuck out of him, y'all.

"I also can tell that you had a couple of drinks before coming back here." He grinned, going back to dig through his bag.

"I did." I answered happily. I wasn't buzzed or anything, but I was feeling great after a couple of glasses of whiskey.

"Whiskey-Coke obviously." Mike said, giggling.

"How'd you know?" I said sarcastically.

"I tasted it, and that's always what you order. Hey, do you wanna smoke?" He asked me and Brandon, both of us nodding in response. "Okay, let's go." He grabbed my hand and Brandon followed us as Mike lead us through the venue to the back of it outside, where there was a table and a few chairs. It felt so nice out today.

Mike sat there rolling the blunt as Brandon and I drank our beers. When he was done, he took the first hit and handed it to me, "So, where's Steph?" He asked, blowing smoke out.

I inhaled and held it in for as long as I could, then blew it out as Brandon answered. "She's in San Diego with her mom, planning the wedding. We're coming back together tomorrow after the SD show." I handed him the blunt as Mike nodded. He looked over to me and gestured me to go sit with him, so I did and sat on his lap.

"I missed you, princess." He smiled at me.

"I missed you too, buggie. Your son misses you, too."

"I was thinking of going home tonight, then tomorrow morning we could drive down to SD."

"What a fabulous idea, Fuentes." I said smiling as Brandon handed Mike the blunt so we could rotate again.

We all sat and talked and smoked and laughed together, then when we were done we went back inside, low eyed and laughing to go hang until they went on stage.

We were all backstage, drinking and having a good time when Jaime said, "I wonder what Luce said in her review about the new album!"

I rolled my eyes, "Dude! You're gonna have to wait until tomorrow because I'm not letting up."

"She won't even tell me!" Brandon shouted.

"Marc and Shea love it, though." I grinned.

"I wanna know! I gotta know!" Jaime begged and I just shrugged, apologizing.

"Have you guys read how the other sites are reviewing it?" I quesitoned.

"We don't care what the other sites say, we care what you say." Tony said, adding emphasis on the word, you.

"How cute of you guys." I said dramatically. "Well, you'll find out tomorrow."

They all groaned, even Mike. Minutes later, saving me from this topic, their manager walks in saying, "Ten minutes, guys! Let's go." Everyone stood up, including Brandon and I so we could go side stage. They all put their in-ears on, and were doing their pre-show warm-ups.

Before I walked out of the dressing room, Mike grabbed my hand making me face-to-face with him. "I love you, Lucy."

Smiling, I answered. "I love you too, Mike. Do your thing, buggie." I stood on my tippy toes and planted a big kiss on his lips. He kissed me back, then we let go and I shot him a smile before tagging along with Brandon and going to the side of the stage, so I could watch the love of my life play with his heart and soul.

Notes

Another update, another chapter closing to the end. I'm not sure how many chapters this will have once it's over, but I'll have you know that we've still got a lot of ground to cover before it ends, so don't fret.

What do you guys think of this chapter? Everyone seems to want to know what Lucy wrote in her album review for Pierce the Veil. The guys keep hounding her, her friends keep hounding her, and let me say that her epic album reviews, good or bad, are what she is famous for.

Also, what do you lovely readers out there think of the pressure they've been receiving lately from everyone; Mike's parents, friends, family, etc.? Do you think that they are thinking about the next steps or are just going to let the chips fall where they may?

Thanks for reading, everyone! I hope you love this chapter and continue to let me know your thoughts and questions down in the comments :)

I love you all!
xoxo,
Amber

@cosette_: I left that up to you and your imagination. I personally would have had them get married, but ultimately that is up to you. You can think up your own future that they had with each other and with their family and friends.

If they got married, had kids, if she made up with Austin. Their life, and everyone else's. Like Lynda and Brandon, or if she sees her parents again. You know?
