What's My Age Again?
"It's so cold!" I exclaimed letting out a chuckle as I held onto Mike's arm for warmth. We decided to spend our Saturday in Anaheim at Disneyland. He'd been dying to go so him and I took advantage of our day and decided to come at 9 AM this morning.
He handed me a steaming cup of hot cocoa and gave me a soft kiss. "Oh my god, what if it was so cold outside that when I kissed you, our lips were stuck together!" His eyes widened as he spoke, causing me to laugh.
"Ugh, that'd be the worst." I made a face, pretending to be disgusted.
He turned his head to me and laughed, "You're mean!"
"Only to those I love, Mike." I shot him a wink and he smiled, linking our arms together as we walked around the "Winter Wonderland" theme of Disneyland.
I felt so happy around him. He was moving into my house in two days and he's been back and forth from San Diego to LA, packing his things and bringing his necessities over to my place. I looked at him and smiled thinking he wouldn't notice. "What?" He questioned with a smirk.
"Nothing." I kept tight lipped and smiled.
"You were staring, Garcia."
"Nope."
"Yes, yes you were."
"Okay, I'm just happy. I'm really, really happy to be h-" I paused and looked to my right and saw Stitch from Lilo and Stitch; aka my obsession in life. "Oh my god, that's Stitch, oh my god, let's go!" I pulled on Mike's arm and dragged him over to where the blue alien was standing with a Santa hat on.
Mike chuckled as he snapped a picture of Stitch and I. I was fangirling over a teenager in a fucking costume, but I couldn't help it, I love Stitch! "Let me see, babe!" I looked at Mike's phone and saw the picture and a grin didn't leave my face.
"I like your little outfit today. Very fashion forward." Mike winked, grabbing a handful of my ass and he squeezed it.
I jumped up, not expecting that and let out a yelp. I smacked his hand as he laughed loudly, "Hey! There's kids here."
"They need to know that when you see a great ass, you grab it."
"No, no, no, no, no, Michael!" I laughed, biting my lip.
He grabbed my hand and we continued walking around and taking pictures of each other at certain spots. A few fans of Pierce the Veil came up to us asking for pictures and Mike grinned widely whenever I took a picture of him and the fans. He loved doing this and I loved that he loved it so much.
When I was done snapping the picture, my phone rang, saying that I had a call coming from Vic. "Hey, dude." I said, handing the fan their iPhone back and giving them a friendly smile as Mike made his way back to me.
"Where is my brother at?" He asked, seeming confused.
"With me at Disneyland. Haven't you seen out thousands of Instagram posts?" I giggled, hearing Vic laugh also.
"How long are you two gonna be gone?" He questioned slyly.
"Um, I don't know. We were gonna go eat after this so I'm not sure. Why?"
Mike mouthed to me: Who is that?
"It's Vic." I said, waiting for Vic to answer.
"Nothing because Kate wanted to hang out with you guys tonight, so did Jess and Jaime."
"I mean, we'll call you guys when we're done? We were having a cute date before you called, Vic! Bye." I said, earning a laugh from him and hung up once I heard it.
"Can our little dinner today be my belated birthday dinner to you?" Mike asked innocently.
"Can it be your birthday dinner since your birthday is tomorrow?" I shot him a grin.
"I guess so." He smiled weirdly, then pulled me into a hug, kissing the top of my head. "I love you! It's weird to love somebody." He added.
"What?" I asked laughing.
"It's just weird to love somebody. Like, I am in love with you and when I was like fifteen, I didn't think I'd be one of those guys who'd be all in love and shit. I didn't think I'd ever meet the girl of my dreams, like c'mon, how'd I get so lucky?"
"You're being extra cute today, you know?" I rested my head on his shoulders as we walked into this gift shop.
"I try, kid. I try." He stopped us and kissed my lips.
"Hey, do my boots make me look taller?" I said, fixing my posture.
"No, you're still a short shit." He laughed and took my arm, dragging me to the area where the Stitch things were. "Pick what you want."
My eyes landed on my huge Stitch stuffed animal. I instantly grabbed him and hugged him, "Oh my god, I need him."
"You've got issues. Let's find Ludo a little toy or something. Little homie has been fucking with my underwear lately."
"Ew. Has he really?" I asked still holding the giant stuffed animal and heading over to the pet toy area and looking at them.
"Yes, I found in hole in like three pairs and I was so mad! I just bought those."
"I'll buy your chones for your birthday, baby."
He laughed and chose a little Mickey Mouse dog chew toy and he paid. We decided to go out to dinner because we were freezing. I made him choose a spot since it was his birthday dinner before his birthday. He chose this Mexican restaurant with the best margaritas and salsa in Anaheim. We made talk the entire dinner, making one another laugh, drinking, stuffing our faces. It was one of our usual wonderful dinners that we have.
After a 32-minute drive we finally made it back home. We were both buzzing, him more than I was since I drove. We were both laughing hysterically as I fumbled for my keys in my bag.
"Hurry up, I need to pee, Luce!" Mike wiggled his legs as he waited impatiently for me to open the door.
Once I finally found my keys, I made Mike shine his phone on the door so I could see. It was about 9:45 at night so it was dark. I opened the door and we walked in, closing the door. And once we did, the lights turned on and a sea of people shouted, "Surprise!" at us.
Mike and I jumped, him almost peeing himself as we were both super confused. All of our friends, his parents, my brother and Britt, Tal, Benji, Joel, Josh, Lynda, Brandon, Steph, Shannon,Justin, Cristian, and a whole bunch of people we knew from bands and stuff were there.
"What is all this for?" I asked, laughing a little.
Vic came up to us, "Well, since the majority in this room were gone on tour for your birthday, we decided to join yours and Mike's birthday. Might as well celebrate together." He shrugged. I gave him a hug, kissing his cheek.
"Thank you, Vic. And whoever else planned this!"
"I still have to pee." Mike said, running passed everyone and going into the restroom.
There was a huge sign hung up that said in giant black letters, "HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY LUCY AND MIKE!" I walked more into the party, greeting everyone and was super happy to see so many people that Mike and I both loved more than anything.
Mike came out of the restroom and greeted people at the same time. We were both really surprised that everyone had the time to come out for this. Alan Ashby caught my eye and he ran over to me, giving me a huge hug. "Dude, I've missed the shit out of you!"
"I know! I'm so glad that you guys are back! I've missed my little ging."
He smirked, running a hand through his orange hair. "Well, we all need to go out, soon."
Casey interrupted with Mike beside me, "But first, the Three Wiseman shot for the birthday boy and girl."
Mike and I looked at one another and frowned, "I hate this shot." I whined making Mal laugh. The Three Wiseman shot was Jack Daniel's, Jose Cuervo, and Jim Beam mixed in one shot. It's the worst thing ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.
The whole night, I went around and talked to everyone, and Mike did the same. We were so hammered it was more than him and I usually are. Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Brandon, Mike, Tal, and I were the ones who kept on drinking and drinking into the early morning hours. We knew that we were gonna hate this tomorrow, but we didn't care anyway.
Everyone was sitting on my couches, me on Mike's lap, still drinking, and just laughing and talking. "Dude, this party reminds me of mine and Lucy's party that we threw each other forever ago." Mike said, bringing up memories between us and Brandon.
"Fuck dude, those parties were amazing. We were all so fucked up, like everyone."
"Oh yeah?" Alex asked with a drunken smirk on his lips.
"It was my twenty-first birthday! And then Mike's twenty-third birthday! It was so fun. And we had great sex that night, babe!" Mike high-fived me and we both laughed.
"Damn, you two have known each other for a long time." Jack said, making Tal laugh because his eyes weren't even open.
"Like, make babies already!" Tal and Brandon shouted at the same time, accidentally.
"You make babies, fucker." I smiled then hiccuped.
"Oh no, the hiccups are out. Luce is hammered like never before." Brandon announced with wide-eyes.
I laughed, "Uh, no. I'm good, y'all. I'm good." Ludo jumped on the couch and started licking Jack's face as he was sleeping. Everyone of was sent into a fit of laughter as we watched Jack react.
I rested my head on Mike and we both knew that we were exhausted. "I'm gonna take princess to bed, guys. Feel free to share the guest room and the couch." Mike said, carrying me and then nodding his head to the guys. He locked the door behind us and laid me down. I laid there plopped on the bed, still dressed in my outfit from earlier, minus my coat. I kicked off my boots and took off my pants and shirt, leaving only my undershirt and my panties. Mike stripped himself and laid down next to me, kissing my forehead.
"Happy birthday, baby." I said moving closer and kissing his lips.
"Thank you, Lucy." He smiled widely, obviously in a drunken state.
"Do you want your presents now or in the morning?" I smirked.
"Mmm," He mumbled. "In the morning. The only thing I want is to lay with you."
"I love you, buggie." I kissed him again.
"I love you too, princess. Thank you for making me the happiest guy in the world."
