A lot happened in the six months that Mike was gone. I graduated college, top of my class. I was made the Target Cafe Team Lead until August. Lynda Rose had a baby boy on April 4th, named Isaiah James. I got a paid internship at SPIN Magazine located in Hollywood, California. I moved to LA in August, the sixth month, leaving my Target after three years, and off to a new one as the Team Lead.

Even more happened in the six years that flew by. I had two relationships since then, my internship turning into a journalist job. After two years, Alternative Press magazine called me out to Ohio for an interview, I got the job, but at their LA location. I was doing what I had always wanted to do. I enjoyed my job, yes it was in an office and I honestly never got used to that, but it was still what I had always wanted. I've been at AP for three years now, and I loved it. I had my own office, and I even had my own assistant, even though I hated calling her that.

Things were going amazing. I lived on my own in my cute townhouse in my cute neighborhood. I was about to be 27 and I was genuinely happy.

I bet you're wondering what ended up happening to Pierce the Veil? They don't really need an explanation, to be honest. They've become exactly what they said they were going to be: The biggest band in the world. Their latest release Collide With The Sky is about to turn one year old in a couple weeks. It's the biggest album they've had, taking them around the world.

Now, I bet you're wondering what happened between Mike and I. It was really hard, and we kept in touch here and there for a few weeks but I never heard from him again, and he never heard from me. I don't know what happened when they went back to San Diego because I was in LA by that point, but I know that they are obviously doing well for themselves.

I go back home usually on the weekends since that's when I'm off, mostly to see my family and my Target family. Yes, we are all still best friends. Brandon is actually going to be moving here to LA in a couple of weeks with Steph. He's a music producer now and is going to be working with a few bands out here. Lynda is in mother-mode. She left Target to pursue her dream of working in the medical field. Shannon is a hair stylist at this really amazing salon in the heart of San Diego and she is great at what she does. Justin owns his own bar back at home and it's really popular. You can find him bar tending there every night. Cristian works with Justin at the bar and they invested in it together as business partners. Everyone is off doing their own thing and doing it happily. I'm so proud of everyone because they all have worked so hard and continue to work hard to let these dreams live.

Being at AP was an incredible thing for me. I've become quite known for my album reviews, my most popular one as of date being my review to Fall Out Boy's Save Rock N' Roll album, (which is perfect by the way) and interviews, online and in print, with all types of bands and artists. I've become really good friends with bands such as Sleeping With Sirens and Of Mice and Men.

I had two relationships since being out here, both ending for reasons I'll get into later. It wasn't anything bad, I wasn't cheated on, or beaten, it was just that life got in the way and the end was the only solution.

I'm happy with my life, I've never been happier with my life. And it took me six years to get to this point where I can finally be content with my life.
