Love Like A Tidal Wave.
How Could I Live Without You Now?
I felt Vic stirring and I knew we’d both be up sooner or later so I sat up, rubbed my eyes and headed to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and grabbed a couple of towels before I took off my pyjamas, throwing them into the hamper and stepping into the warm shower. I took a long time in there after I’d washed and shaved, just thinking. I felt like I was pushing Vic away, yet he was still being such a sweetheart. And there’s no words to describe how much that means to me.
I stepped out from the shower, wrapping a towel round my hair and thoroughly drying myself off with the other towel. I moisturised from head to toe and stepped outside into the cool bedroom, Vic had thankfully opened a window. I smiled, feeling the breeze hit my warm body. I picked out a bra and underwear to put on and once I had, I looked for an outfit. I decided I wanted to see my dad today, and then maybe go out with Vic or something. I just need to heal, staying inside all the time won’t help to heal me.
I finally found an outfit and shoved it on, deciding to fix my hair and makeup later. I walked into the living room to find a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. I looked round to see Vic standing cooking breakfast for us. I smiled and walked over to him, hugging him from behind, my cheek resting on his back.
“Mmm. Smells lovely, baby. Thank you for doing this.” I said, kissing the back of his neck.
He turned round to face me, pecking my lips. “It’s not a problem. You deserve it. And you look beautiful.” He said, making me twirl. I giggled, and he smiled, kissing my lips again.
“You treat me too well.” I said, sitting myself down at the table. “And I thought we could go see my dad, you’ve never met him and yeah, it’d be good. I, myself haven’t actually seen him in ages, so I wanna see him. Then me and you could go out for lunch? I feel like actually going out. I want to start healing.”
“Really?” he asked. I nodded, he nodded too in approval. “Sounds good gorgeous. Eat up, then get ready and we’ll go see your dad.”
After seeing my dad, we called the guys to meet us in a restaurant for lunch. We were the first ones to arrive and Vic and I sat in the end of the booth together, being pretty close and cuddly.
“Your dad is a lovely man.” He said and I nodded, “It’s clear to see how much he adores you baby.”
I smiled, “I adore him. I always was a Daddy’s girl, mostly. I do love my mum with everything I have, but Daddy beats everyone.” I said, sticking my tongue out.
“Cheeky.” He said, kissing my lips. I kissed back harder and heard all the boys whistling. I rolled my eyes and greeted everyone.
“It’s really nice to see you out, sweetheart.” Mike said, sitting next to me and hugging me.
“Thanks Mikey, it’s good to be out.” I smiled.
“How you holding up?” Tony asked.
“I’m doing okay. Do not know where I’d be without your boy here though!” I said, hugging Vic and he smiled.
“You don’t ever need to think about that, I’ll be here, always gorgeous.” He said, kissing my forehead. There was a chorus of ‘awww’ coming from the guys. We all tucked into our meal, enjoying each other’s company. And I actually felt happy. I was right, going outside was going to help me to heal, and get over everything.
