Until The End Of Time
Chapter Twenty-One
A couple of months had passed and there had been no sight or sound from Leon. Erica had been really busy at Think Ink and the boys in Pierce the Veil had been busy with press since their album was due to drop in January. They had already released Kiss Me Again as a single and it had been really successful.
It was now New Years’ Eve and everyone had gathered at the Fuentes brothers’ house for a party. The party wasn’t for a few hours which gave the band time to set up and ask Erica something they had been planning for a while.
“Hey E, come here for a minute. We want to ask you something” Jaime called over to Erica who was currently with Jess in the kitchen.
“What is it pumpkin?” Erica asked as she sat between Jaime and Mike.
“We want you to come on tour with us. We know the tour isn’t until February but we want you to come with us. Please say yes?” Jaime pleaded.
“OMG, I would love to. I’d have to ask Damien for time off though, the tour’s 2 months isn’t it?” Erica was excited.
“No need, we already asked him and he agreed to it” Mike piped in. A smile grew on Erica’s face “Looks like I’m coming on tour then” She giggled a little and shouted “GROUP HUG!”
Mike and Erica had been dating for nearly 5 months now. Jess and Jaime had been engaged for nearly that same length of time. They had planned to have a fall wedding the next year and Erica had been asked to be a bridesmaid. She, of course, said yes. Her and Jess had become really close. Not as close as Erica and Jaime but she loved having a female that she could talk to about things. She had never really had a female friend that she was that close to before. Moving to America brought a lot of new things with it.
The night went smoothly and before the group knew it, they were counting down to the New Year. “3. 2. 1.” The entire house erupted into cheers and party poppers went off. Erica pulled Mike down to her level and kissed him zealously. They had had the best nearly five months together. Mike toasted to the New Year with Erica “I love you E, until the end of time” Mike said as he took a sip of his beer. “I love you too Michael, until the end of time”. They both shared another kiss and joined everyone outside.
The party went on until about 3 in the morning, before the residents of the house decided to call it a night and head to bed. Jaime and Jess had the spare room and Vic and Tony shared Vic’s bed. They were both so drunk and had passed out so nobody bothered to move them. Erica and Mike couldn’t get to sleep so just sat up in Mike’s bed reminiscing about the past year, about things that happened before they met and things that have happened since. They even spoke about their plans for the next year. The boys would be doing a tour at the beginning of the year, which Erica was now a part of. They were also doing Warped Tour and knew they were going to be a busy bunch.
