Vic POV
Iris showed me around the place. All the walls where white, very plain. It was all so plain and boring. She introduced me to some of the people, I herd a few of them talk to themselves.
I was very scared for some of the people in there, for their own sake. I had always thought it would look like an old horror movie set. Paint peeling off the walls, it was not like that though. It was calm and quiet, peaceful almost.
Iris took my hand and she lead me to her room. There was two beds and a door that lead off to a bathroom. There was a man in one of the beds "hello sir, I am victor." I say to the man. I get no reply "is he alive?" i whisper in iris's ear.
"Yes, I have not seen him ever leave the room," she replies. Why did he never leave his room, was he afraid of people? I had so many unanswered question that I was not willing to ask. I leave the room because I was afraid I was going to say something stupid. The room was so quiet as i left they could I hear footsteps from the room I turn around thinking to see Iris, but no.
"Hello Vic I am Chris. I am sorry for being rude before but why do you trust that women? Women will destroy and use you!"
"Um excuse me? Iris told me you never leave the room." I say rudely to the man. "Okay, I am leaving, you are so rude!" I walk away to the lobby in discust and anger. A few moments pass and I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Hey, what did he say? I herd you two aruging."
"He said that women will destroy you, like what does that mean?!" I ask being instulted, Iris will never hurt me. I will only ever hurt her.
"He must have had issues with his mother, or girlfriend. Probally rape or abuse." Iris responds.
Iris POV
I was showing Vic my room then he just walked out. I was sitting on the bed, being so confused why he left. I see Chris leave his bed and the room. I thought he never left his room. I herd the door shut then them two agrueing, I could not destinguse what they where both saying. But I knew Vic was very upset, so I had to bring myself to see if he was alright. I looked outside the door and he was not there. I checked in the lobby and I saw him standing there. I tap him on the shoulder and ask
"Hey what did he say? I hurd you two aruging."
"He said that women will destroy you, like what does that mean?!" I can tell the Vic is very upset and offended by the tone in his voice.
"He must have had issues with his mother, or a girlfriend. Probalby rape or abuse." I say, I have seen many people like this, they despise a gender/rase because of someone that has done something to them.
I hug him and say in his ear "It is not your fault, don't worry."
He ends the hug and looks me in the eyes, "I don't want you to get hurt by him, I dont want you in a room with him!" His big brown eyes show desuct and anger.
"It is only for two weeks! Vic I will be fine." I take his hand and try to make him not worry so much.
We spent the rest of the visting hours in the lobby.
