Gunshots and Mise-En-Scenes (The Getaway)
Summary
So we can tell each other:
"Baby, this is paradise...
and it's so goddamn good."
Now we live like we should...
Vic and Kellin... ahem, or should I say, Gerard and Harry, have finally found a place to call their home. They're happy. They're content with their lives. For once, the police isn't after them, they're out of danger, they have new friends...
But good things don't last forever. After a year of happiness, Kellin decides to go back to Florida and visit his mother, serving her the news that he's alive and well. He just doesn't want her to be miserable and, after all, nothing too bad could happen, right?
Wrong.
...Aaaand Kellin finds himself in prison before he could say "home, sweet home". It seems that Vic would have to get him out with a little help from his brother and his new best friend Jaime, but that's only the beginning...
Note: The story is told from Vic's POV. It all happens in an AU, where none of the characters is in a band and Pierce the Veil and Sleeping Sirens do not exist. Not all of the band members are included. Again, no smut, sorry, but there might be some small make out scenes, like in Kings and Bishops. And yeah, I know, my characters swear a lot. I'm sorry. Oops... XD
Characters
Gabe
Do you remember Steve Brit, the serial killer? Or should I say, Jesse Lawson? No one ever suspected that he worked with a partner, but in fact he did - he worked with his brother Gabe. Actually, pretty much Gabe was the one, who planned all the murders, and he isn't reckless like his brother - he knows how to be cautious and hide his tracks. Now, when Jesse is dead, he's decided to go after Vic and Kellin and get revenge, and he's quite experienced in doing this - killing people.
Jaime Preciado
Vic's new best friend. Funny, a bit silly... well, unless you piss him off, then he wouldn't hesitate to kick your ass. He had no idea who Vic and Kellin actually are (since he knew them as 'Gerard' and 'Harry') until they accidentally got him in trouble...
Kellin Quinn (Harry King)
"The Clyde of our century". Kind of badass, kind of cocky, kind of bossy, but also quite sweet. Despite his unhappy childhood, he's pretty content with his new life with Vic. Well, until now, when everything suddenly turns upside down.
Mike Fuentes
Vic's brother. The weirdo of the family, as Vic describes him. Even though he's the younger brother, he often ends up taking care of his older sibling. Has the bad habit to accidentally get involved in illegal stuff, which he'd always regret later.
Vic Fuentes (Gerard Bishop)
"The Bonnie of our century". A graphic designer and a musician, of sorts. An ex-criminal... of sorts. One thing is for sure, he'd do absolutely everything for his friends. Especially for Kellin.
