I feel like crap, I couldn't sleep all the way here, I just keep thinking about Sydney. I feel guilty for leaving her but I have to carry on tfor the fans. I walk over to where the guys are helping our crew set up.
They are all keeping busy, keeping everything happy. Jaime is singing Whitney Houston's I wanna dance with somebody. Hmm. I can't help but laugh as I watch Vic and Mike start to mouthy the words. Jaime is good at things like that. I joined in setting up, but not the singing I wasn't in the mood really.
"Ready for the show Tone?" Mike asked me. He knocked me out of my daydream.
"Huh? Oh yeah. Sure, I'm ready." He just gave me the look. "Okay, i'm worried about Syd, Okay? I can't handle this, I really love her Mike." I looked down at my hands that were shaking. "I can't lose her." He crouched down beside me and put his hands on my back.
"You're not gonna lose her. Damn, we love her too and we're not gonna let you lose her. Plus from what I've learnt she's bloody stubborn, so she's not gonna let you lose her either. Okay now let's go and get ready to play Sydney's Show. Ready?"
I swiped my eye and smiled, he was right. "Yeah, I'm ready."
Setting up after my chat with Mike became easier. I carried on doing my thing and I'm okay, tired, but okay.

I watched our support band play an amazing show and then the crowd chant 'pierce the veil' after they had left. Playing to the crowd made me almost forget about everything. It's what I was put on this earth to do. Perform. Well that was until, we played our encore. Hold On Till May. Syd's song. I couldn't handle it. My knees went wobbly and I literally fell to my knees.The band stopped playing around me and came to check I was okay. I nodded even though I knew I wasn't. Vic had already told the corwd that this show was dedicated to Sydney and that hold on till may was her song, so they must have gathered. I stood up, my legs still like jelly and walked up to the microphone.
"Guys.. I" I whispered into the microphone, I knew what I wanted to say but I was fighting with myself to get the right words out.
"You all know about my Girlfirend Sydney right? Well she was hit by a car just recently and she's now in a coma, with the slim chance of things looking up. She means the world to me guys just like you do, so you have to show support while we finish this song. It's her song, she should be singing it here with us, so you're going to have to do that okay? Sydney, Sydney!" I started the crowd chanting till we started up the song again. They all sung along for every line and chanted Sydney right at the end.

I left the stage feeling so much relief, not only just us supporting her this time she had the support of the whole crowd tonight, it felt good. Going out and meeting fans is always the highlight of the show, getting to talk to them is great. Tonght I had so many fans wishing Syd well and they were all asking for updates on her condition. This is giving me so much hope right now.

Back at the bus it was safe to say that nobpdy wanted to party, we are all pretty tired and we are making our way back to Syd tomorrow morning anyways, She's be mad if we all turned up wasted! We chilled out for a bit then I went back to my bunk, leaving Mike (much to Jaime's annoyance) watching Harry Potter. Vic was out doing something or other, not quite sure 'saving his voice' he calls it. He just likes going out walking on his own.
I layed in my bunk listening to Jaime whining about how unrealistic and stupid Harry Potter was, and from what I could hear Mike was swatting at him with a cushion. Normality, just missing one thing. I looked down at my wrist where my turlte tattoo for sydney was. God I miss her, nothing feels right with her not around.
