Chapter 34~Tree house.
~Tony’s POV~
It was Saturday. It’s been four days since Jesus found out about me and Kari. He hasn’t really said much about it. I walked downstairs nervously. I saw Jesus sitting on the couch alone watching T.V.
“Hey Tone.” he said when he saw me approaching him.
“Hey. Umm I was wondering if it would be ok if I took Kari out tonight.”
“Depends where.” He said with a death stare. I usually felt comfortable talking to Jesus, but when it came to talking about Kari, I got nervous. She was right when she told me he was over protective. It was kind of weird having to ask my girlfriend’s dad for permission considering she was 19 years old, but I hoped that it would make him trust me more.
“The movies.” He thought about it for a moment.
“Fine. Just be back before one.”
“I will. Thanks.” I said as I got up and headed upstairs. I knocked on the door to Kari’s room. She opened it and let me in.
“Hey.” She said with a smile.
“Guess who’s going to watch Star Wars in 3D?” I said.
“Umm Obama?” she said sarcastically.
“No. You and me.”
“Really? That’s awesome. But let me go ask my dad.” She said already walking towards the door. I stopped her.
“I already did.” She hugged me.
“Thanks. What time you want to go?”
“What about nine?”
“Ok sounds good. I’m going to start making dinner.” She said.
“I got it.”
“Are you sure? I can go do it.”
“I’m sure.” She kissed my cheek and I headed downstairs. I began to cook tacos. When I was done, I called Kari and Jesus to the kitchen and handed them each food. They both thanked me and began to eat. I mentally smiled the whole time while eating. I was always happy when I was going to spend time with Kari.
“Why are you smiling Tony?” Jesus asked me as him and Kari stared at me. My face turned incredibly red. I guess my smiling wasn’t happening mentally.
“N-nothing.” I stuttered. I wasn’t even sure if that was a valid answer. We finished eating and I washed the dishes. Kari headed upstairs. When I was done, I headed upstairs as well. I got a little ready for my date and stayed in my room until Kari was ready to go. I sat there just thinking about what ever came to mind. My thinking was put to a stop when I heard a knock at my door. I looked up and saw Kari’s head peeking out from the side.
“I was feeling in the spirit so don’t laugh at my dress ok?” she said still not revealing herself.
“I didn’t even know you owned any dresses.” I said honestly. She wasn’t a girly girl. “Let me see.” She hesitated a bit but finally stepped into my room. Her dress was black, red, and some blue. It had things from star wars all over it. “That’s awesome.” I said truthfully. I turned off the light in my room and took her hand as I led her downstairs.
“Dad, we’re going now.” She said.
“Ok. Be careful.” We went outside. I opened the car door for her and then got in myself. We drove as we listened to music. We got there and I pulled her closer as I put my arm around her waist. We walked inside and I asked for the tickets. We went into the theater which was pretty empty for the most part. The movie started after a few previews. We both watched the movie in astonishment as if we hadn’t seen it before, even though we had both watched it countless times. When it was over, we walked outside hand in hand. It was still before the curfew her dad had given so I decided to go somewhere else.
Kari noticed that I wasn’t driving in the direction of the house. “Where are we going?” she asked curiously.
“You’ll see.” I continued to drive. We arrived at a grassy area with many trees, something much like a little forest. I stopped the car and got out. Kari got out as well and gave me a confused look.
“Where are we?” I smiled at her confusion and grabbed her hand I led her deeper into the place. We stopped walking when we were in front of an old tree house.
“I used to come here when I was a kid.” I explained. “Shall we go in?” I said in a fake British accent motioning to the ladder.
“Umm you’re going to have to go in first.” Kari said awkwardly.
“Why? What happened to ladies first?”
“I’m wearing a dress so yea…” I finally caught on.
“Oh umm right…” I climbed up the ladder and into the tree house. Moments later, she climbed in. We sat there peacefully observing the tree house. Kari scooted next to me and rested her head on my shoulder. We stayed like that for a while just enjoying the moment. I turned to look at her and my eyes caught hers. I leaned in and kissed her. I pulled her onto my lap and rested my hand on her leg as we continued to kiss. My hand began to move up and down her side as the other hand on her back began to slowly lay her down. I was now hovering her. I licked her bottom lip asking for entrance which she teasingly denied. I gently bit her lip, but she still refused. My hand moved from her side to her ass and slightly squeezed. She gasped and I took advantage. I smiled triumphantly. My lips moved from her mouth to her neck. I trailed kisses up her jawline. I felt her hands press against my chest.
“Tony,” She faintly whispered. I looked at her face. “We should stop here. We should probably go home soon.” I nodded and got up. I helped her up and we climbed down the ladder. We walked to the car and got in.
“Did you have fun?” I asked.
“Yea. Who knew that Star Wars could get better in 3D?” I laughed a bit.
“Good. So I was wondering if you want to meet some of my friends tomorrow.”
“Sure. Are they nice?”
“I think you’ll like them.” we got home and headed inside. Jesus was already asleep so we walked up the stairs as quietly as possible. I said good night and kissed her before heading over to my room. I laid down and smiled at the thought of our date.
