A few weeks later, I continued to wake up with nausia. I felt sick everytime I woke up. It became a struggle to wake up. Vic took me to the hospital, with the fear that I may be terribly ill. I threw up several times, to a point where I'd stay in the bathroom for hours. I was convinced that I had a stomach virus, but there was no way of telling until I got it checked out.

"Please fill out this paper work and we'll be right with you" the nurse said as she handed me some papers. Vic and I had been together for about a year, with that being said, he filled out most of the paper work for me, just because he knew me that well.

A few minutes later, I was called in and after a few minutes of some more waiting, the doctor came in. "Well, miss Abby, seems to me that you're pregnant." I quickly turned my phone one, checked my calander and noticed I did in fact, miss my period. With tears rollling down my face, I turned my face to Vic. Expecting him to look sick, or nervous, it came to my surprise that he was smiling. Smiling, ear to ear. What? Was he happy?! "I've got to let the guys know!" He yelled with such excitement in his tone of voice. "Come back for a check up in a few weeks and we'll get some things straight, so you're all healthy for the baby," the doctor said with a smile on his face, and left the room.

"Are you sure we're ready for this?" I asked. "I'm ready. I'm sure you'll be too" Vic replied. The sadest part may have been that he seemed more excited than I was. A baby? How the fuck was I going to raise a baby?! Did he not listen to my history? Needless to say, I cried myself to sleep that day.
