I've said it before, but I love her friendship with Mike, he always knows what she needs. Which is pretty awesome. It's good she's trying to let all of that crap go, it won't be easy but she has a pretty good support system

I'm really happy she had jake as a friend, she really needs someone like him in her life. Especially with all the drama and stress from everyone else.
Vic seriously needs to trust her, this is getting ridiculous. She's in love with vic and only wants to be with him, but all he can do is complain about her friendship with a guy she's known longer than him. That's not cool. and they both just need to sit down, talk, and hash everything out. They're things they need to address and work out if they want to be okay.

Wow she's bipolar, that's interesting. I love how no one has really stigmatized her in the story.
Vic seriously needs to calm down. One at this point he should know with out a doubt how deeply scar feels for him. This insecure jealously shouldnt be an issue. heck they were freaking teenagers when that happened and she didn't hide that from him. They're only friends. Two getting upset that she didn't discuss her bipolar disorder with him doesn't establish comfort or credibility that she'd be safe to tell him something this important. Opening up about mental illness in a society that condemns you for simply having it, isn't easy. She even had trouble telling her dad so of course a freaking romantic partner would be more difficult. And when he does find out, does he set any possible anxieties or worries she may possess to rest? No he reacts with jealousy demanding to know if she told another man before him. Just... No please analyze your life choices and maybe actually think before you speak.

I appreciate your input, however this is a work of fiction. I'm very aware of the fact that Austin has marfan's syndrome. I should have been more specific when I said I was unsure meaning I was unsure as to the exact reasons why he had been hospitalized, since those reasons were never released. Again, it is fiction and while the plot line I presented was fictional, the procedures taken were not.

If you're going to include Austin's medical history, you should make sure what you're actually saying correct information. Austin has marfans syndrome, and not directly heart problems. Marfans attacks the muscle tissue and keep sit from tightening, hense why he's lanky and tall. You should do some research.

Wow that flashback was heart wrenching and must've been extremely painful to relive.
They're so cute! And wow two weeks huh I'm so glad it's working out for him and how he's there for her. I love how you worked the title in there a few times.
It's awesome how open she's being and not keeping things bottled up. I am kinda shocked Austin doesn't know yet

Wow the fact that Vic actually thought she'd do that with Mike, I kinda had a feeling that would happen but still. They seriously need to talk. I feel like there was a lot a miscommunication, Vic called her his ex and she left because he didn't commit and was stringing her along. Somewhere wires got crossed and they're both hurting. But Oh gosh she totally still loves him. This should be interesting.

dont forget about gatorade though! you have to replenish the nutrients you'll be sweating out! and make sure you have a good breakfast and get something for lunch! OH! and sunblock! last year was my first, you're going to have a great time! Just make sure to take care of yourself throughout the day!
