I'm honestly not a big fangirl anymore. I used to be "BAAAANDS!" 24/7 but now I just write on this site and sometimes look at pics. How I balance my life is my "kind of social" outside life where I talk to people occasionally and otherwise watch The Office, and then this site life, which O tell no one typically. I mean, I agree with your brother. Being overly obsessive over ANYTHING is unattractive, but liking and appreciating something is fine. And if some guy one day says that you need to drop bands COMPLETELY, that is not okay. If you are in balance between bandom life and outside life and he is STILL telling you to drop it, that isn't okay.

Oh I know but my brother... He just.... I take his advice because he actually has relationship experience and I............ I have friends. I mean I'm more or less partial to the dating thing but that doesn't mean I don't want somebody. I might mention that someone gives me chest pains every once in a while or say that something is why I love someone so much but I have balance the only thing I do twenty four seven is breathing and listening to music because I really don't like most people

Well, I think that a life can be about bands if there is a healthy balance. If someone is way too obsessive with bands, then that's a little odd, but as long as you have a healthy balance in life, I don't think that liking a band is "unattractive".

It may or may not take a band turn because everyone stops reading band fiction at some point and my brother says it's unattractive if your life is only about bands

I know that and I do have balance. On Mondays I go hang out with my friend at the coffee shop, Tuesdays and Thursdays I hang at home not doing much of anything. Wednesdays I go to youth group with my friends. During the weekends I'm either sleeping off last nights, non alcohol related, headache or with katelyn or Bernadette. I have my balance and I don't fan girl hard. I mean, if I met a band member I would probably die or freak a little but I'm not band this band that. There's James whom I talk out all my "emo" crap with, like the meaning of life or how he got to talk to one of my biggest heroes. Even someone who dares call themselves my friend talks crap about me and my brother when he has no idea what the hell we've been through. I chose to be raised by band members because my dad doesn't act like one and my mom I'm never allowed to see.
