Just Best Friends.
My best friend in the whole world is coming over for a movie day today. She's called Alice. She has this beautiful black hair that goes all the way down her back, she has piercings and tattoos - like me, has her ears gauged like me, and she loves Star Wars and turtles! She's even got a little turtle called Antonio because that's my full name. She's so cute. She has the biggest heart too. We've been friends for as long as I can remember. We grew up together. Our parents were next door neighbours from a pretty young age too, so they're really close. She's 17 and I'm 18. We've been pretty much inseparable since we were 2 & 3! I love her to pieces. Probably more than I should, but hey, who cares.
I get the popcorn ready for our movie day, I hope she'll want to watch Star Wars because I've gone a whole week without it and I need to watch it soon! I get a bottle of pepsi and two glasses and take it up to my room, then taking the popcorn. She texts me to let me know she's outside. I run down to the front door and welcome her.
"Hey Tone!" she wraps her arms around my neck and i cuddle her tightly.
"Hey Ally! I've missed you!" she's been on holiday with her parents so I've not seen her in a week. Her skin is slightly tanned and her shorts show off the tan she has. She never tans. She's so pale! It's ridiculous how beautiful this girl is to me.
We watch the movies and she's cuddled up on my chest. I'm slowly tickling her back in round circles and I can feel her falling asleep. We're always so calm and content when we're together. Everyone thinks we're a couple, the guys in my band (Mike, Vic & Jaime) constantly go on about how we should be together, that we're perfect for each other. I don't know, maybe we are. But she'd never see me in that way, I know that. And really, we're just best friends. Always have been and sadly, that's all we ever will be.
"Hey the guys are having a party Saturday night, you wanna go?"
"Yeah... What guys?"
"Vic and Mike, their parents are away for a week so they're having a party. You know they always throw kickass parties!" I said excitedly.
"Yeah they do, sure, lets go! Pick me up at 8?" I nodd, kiss her on the forehead and we fall asleep in each other's arms. I could get used to this.
