A Kiss That Taste Like Summer (Tony Perry)

We got our coffee and sat down at a small table by the giant glass window. Tony jumped in front of my to pull the chair out for me. I giggled and jumped up into the chair. I pulled my phone out and placed it on the table to examine it. Tony sat down across from me watching me look at it.

"I'm really sorry" he said again. He reached over and held my hand.

"Tony you act like someone died" I laughed "It's just my phone".

He laughed also pulling his hand away from mine to adjust his hat. I left my hand there waiting for his hand to return but it didn't. He took a sip of his coffee and smiled.

"So..." I said breaking the awkward silence.

"So..." he said back moking me.

I smiled "Thanks for the coffee" I said gesturing torwards my cup.

"It's no problem, I felt like a dick last night for calling you while I was out. Just wanted to thank you once again"

So he did remember calling me. "It's fine, I'v gotten worse".

He chuckled to himself. "So how about I take you out to get you a new phone?"

"Really!? I mean you don't have to. I don't want it to be any trouble" I can't believe this guy was offering to buy me a brand spaking new phone.

"It's the least I could do. I mean I didnt get to pay you for the tattoo, I called you while I was drunk, and then broke your phone. Its tottaly alright"

We finished our coffee and talked a little bit about each other. He wanted to know how long I have lived here in San Diego. How long I'v worked at the shop. What I like and what I don't like. If I'm dating anyone. I found out that he play's guitar. And he's in a band called Pierce The Veil. And he loved that I'v never hear of his band cause then he could take me to one of there shows. And because I'm not some crazy fan girl.

We walked outside to his car. We both got inside and pulled out of the parking lot.

"Do you wanna hear some of my band's music?" He asked gesturing torwards a CD. It had a house and it was falling apart or crumbling or something. It had this kinda ghostly looking girl floating away from it. I'm not gunna lie it look really pretty to be album art. I shook my head yes and he put it in. The first song was really quiet. The some one was screaming in the back ground. 'If you wanted to set me free, then why the fuck wouldn't you say something?' It gave me the chills from how he sounded. It had so much emotion. It went from quite to super loud. I like it. I start to bang my head a little and so didn't Tony. He started singing along with it. I watched him. He was really good.

We finally got to mall where we went to the Verizion store. I had to fill out some paper work get all my info and contacts switched over then I was ready to go. Tony came over payed and we left.

"Thank you" I said as we walked out of the store.

"It's no problem" he said smiling.

I just smiled. I'm such a goof.

We started to walk back through the mall. I was walking and not paying attention when all of a sudden I felt his reach over and hold my hand. I looked over at him. He acted like he didnt notice me looking around at everything else but me smiling. I just smiled and leaned in closer to him.
