When Miles Break Hearts

TONY'S POV
Wandering up the path, I strolled through the countless gravestones as I searched for the name I needed. 13 years today, I thought, shit. I turned round and waved at Rachel who had her hands on the shoulders of our children, Ben and Eva. She gave me a supportive smile before bending down at saying something to the kids.
Finding the right one, I fell to my knees and placed the bouquet of flowers below it. 'Hey, Julie,' I said, running my eyes over her name a million times. I had came on the anniversary of her death every year, as well as coming (especially in the first few years) when I needed to talk.
'Ben and Eva are doing well. On Ben's birthday, we got him a little guitar and he loves it. You should've seen his face,' I said, trailing off.
The rain began to fall and before long, was pouding against my face. As the dark clouds came over me, something inside snapped. I couldn't breathe again.
'I miss you!' I shouted, tossing my head forward and slamming my fists against the muddy grass. As much as I loved Rachel, Eva and Ben, I would never be fully over Julie or the fact that she took her own life. I'd had a part of her note tattooed as a symbol that she'll always be with me. The pain I felt was incredible, but her words ran in my head like she had said them moments ago.
'I love you too, Julie.'
