~*POV Tony*~

Hospitals, how I hate them... Nothing good ever comes from them, ever. Just like right now, I sitting with Vic in the ER waiting room, hoping for Mike to be ok. He needs to be ok. Vic had called their parents and their flight was due to arrive tomorrow morning.

"Michael Fuentes?" the ER nurse said. Our heads snapped up and we practically ran over.

"Family only please," she said.

My hopes fell.

"Brother," Vic said pointing towards himself, "Cousin," he said, pointing towards me. Ok that works. Good thing we're all Mexican...

She nodded and led us down the hall towards his room, "He's stable, but we had to put him in a medical coma. His bloodwork was very messed up, he's anemic and very mal-nurished. Has he been eating enough?"

"I thought he was... But I guess he was lying..." Vic said, pain lacing his voice.

The nurse pursed her lips and led us in the room. Their layed Mike, attached to many machienes. He looked so thin, thinner than I've ever seen him before. My heart broke at the sight of it. I ran over and took his hand in mine.

"He's on a feeding tube right now," the nurse said, "But we need parental consent to keep him on it for more than 24 hours."

"They're out of the country right now," Vic said, "But they'll be here by this time tomorrow at the latest."

She nodded and walked out. Vic walked over beside me, "Mike... Why did you do this to yourself?" he whispered, "I need you bro... We both do..."

Vic then walked to the other side of the room and sat down in one of the chairs. He put his head in his hands and sat in silence. I walked over and pulled the chair acrossed from Vic over to the bed. I sat down and rubbed Mike's hand. He looked so peaceful, yet I knew he wasn't at peace with himself at all.

~*POV Vic*~

I was woken up by my mother screaming when her and pa ran into Mike's hospital room. I stood up and stretched out before walking over to them.

"Vic!" she exclaimed, "What happened?"

"I don't know," I answered honestly, "I thought he was fine. He tricked me into believing it."

Her face fell, she glanced over at Mike and frowned.

"Whose that sleeping in the chair?" Pa asked, sounding concerned.

I forgot that mom and dad never met Tony... Well this is a bit awkward.

"That's Tony," I said, "He's Mike's uh..." I hesitated, "It's kind of a long story..."

Mom gave me a concerned look, "We have time. Tell us while they're both still asleep."

"It seems like we have along time then," I said, "Atleast for Mike... He's so bad they had to put him in a medical coma... I don't know when he's going to wake up."

Tears filled mom's eyes and she put her hand over her mouth, "Just tell us please Vic," pa said, taking her hand, "Give us a distraction..."

I jumped into the story of how we went from normal, happy teenage boys to this. They sat and listened intently, not interupting once. Their reactions were like those of someone watching a movie, they looked even more concerned at the bad parts and smiled at the happy ones. When I was done with the story I sighed and said, "And now we're here..."

"That's some story," dad said, "I never saw any of this coming..." He looked over to the bed. How Tony was still asleep, I didn't know, but he was.

"Me either," mom said, looking at the floor, "At least Mike wasn't alone... I'm glad he had you and Tony, I can't help but wonder how much worse he's be if he didn't..."

I nodded, "Tony came into our lives just in time it seems..."

"Like a blessing in disguise," dad said, looking at the sleeping boy.

Guys, today was terrible... I got sunburnt so badly yesterday that I was in pain from my shirt all day today and I got terrible food posioning from rancid orange juice. Like serious fuck my life. :|
