Vic was the last one to run out on stage, his guitar strapped around his body and his microphone in his hands, clutching it. He shouted, "Los Angeles! Get ready to fucking party!" Cheers were deafening as the sea of people had their arms up, ready to rock. Jonah was sitting on my lap, he was clapping. He's been to his dad's shows before, but he was too young to really grasp the performance. Now, he was almost six and he appreciated music more, so to speak.

Mike started off the song as Jaime and Vic clapped their hands, causing the crowd to imitate it and clap themselves. Everyone started off on the song "Besitos" and the fans were going nuts. Song after song, they went one hundred percent, but as soon as Vic introduced Kellin Quinn, the screams got louder, the crowd pushed together, and were losing their minds once "King for a Day" began. They released the song just before Warped Tour started and it was being received so incredibly well. It was a more mature sounding Pierce the Veil, the writing, the music, it was a lot heavier, and their fanbase loved it more than anything.

The guys went insane on stage; Mike's arms looked like they were going to fly off from drumming so hard, Jaime was headbanging harder than I've ever seen him, Tony was running around on stage and Vic and Kellin were singing and screaming, their voices intertwining together perfectly. Frenchi, Jess, and Steph were all next to me watching their boys play probably the most energetic that we've seen them. They looked so happy.

Between the LA show, and the San Diego show, when I saw them play, and at meet and greets, things were so different. These were the same four boys who had worked their asses off to get to this point, and it was apparent in the lines for meet and greets, and the turnout for the shows; I couldn't help but think back.

I thought back to when Jaime and Tony had their first jam session with Mike and Vic. They all blended so well.

Vic had spoken up, "So, are you guys down to do this? And, I mean really do this. If we start this, there is no stopping. This has to be what you want in the future. What do you two think?"

Jaime and Tony looked over at one another, and instantly they responded to Vic and Mike, who were sitting front of them, sweat dripping off the sides of their heads. "Let's do this!"

Mike and Vic's expressions grew wider and they all hugged, patting one another on the back. This is what they've always wanted. I stood from the doorway in the garage and spoke up, "Anyone want a beer?"

Vic looked over at me and he smiled, ignoring the shouts of yes's coming from the boys. They all ran past me inside and Vic stopped, grabbing my hips and placing them closer to him so he could kiss me. He pulled away, smirking. "We're doing this, Livvy."

I nodded, "You're finally doing this." I grinned, placing my hands on his sweaty face and kissing him. "I have a feeling about these two."

"I do too. Hey, I love you okay? Remember, we're reaching for paradise." His grin was plastered across his face, unaware of how much his simple words had meant to me.

"I love you too, Vic. Paradise or bust." I winked, earning a laugh from him as he tangled my fingers with his.
I smiled to myself, negligent to Vic noticing my grin. "What are you smiling for?" He grinned, taking off his in-ears and kneeling down to Jonah. I guess I daydreamed throughout the rest of their set.

I shook my head, "Nothing. You're gonna laugh at me."

He had a silly grin on and replied, "I promise I won't. What was so great that it brought out that beautiful smile of yours?"

The butterflies fluttered in my stomach as he grabbed my hand with his, and carried Jonah on his other arm as we walked back to the bus. "I was thinking of when you and the guys had your first jam session together, ans you had asked them if they were down to do this for the rest of their lives. I remember how happy everybody was." The smile returned to my lips and it transferred onto his.

"That seems so long ago, but it really wasn't."

"I know, it was only like five years ago when they joined."

I remember a month after that, I found out that I was pregnant. Believe me, it was quite the shocker, but it made Vic want to work even harder. My paychecks from my deadbeat retail job were our only source of income at one point, that I eventually ended up going to cosmetology school so I can get a job at a salon for extra money. I ended up quitting the retail job and sticking with the salon because my doctor said I needed to slow down. I was not one to slow down, but for the sake of my baby, I did.

Vic had put Jonah down for a nap in his bunk and joined me on the couch in the front lounge. My head was in his lap and he was playing with my hair. "Why do you have to leave today?" He frowned, making a braid in my hair.

"Because this is the last California date, babe. I can't just join the tour like I did years ago." I returned the frown and he sighed, knowing I was right.

"Isn't it weird? To be here?" He said after a few moments of silence.

"What do you mean?" I questioned, confused to be honest.

"Like, to be here in this position finally. Did you see the crowd today?"

I smiled, "Yes, it was so huge. Hometown shows are the best for a reason." In the moment, Jaime, Mike, Tony, and Casey all walked onto the bus and sat down, drinking God knows what. "I'm just really proud of all of you." I mentioned as I sat up, now speaking to everyone.

Jaime smirked, "What are we talking about here, guys?"

"We were just talking about what it means for you guys to finally be here in this spot. Like, you've all busted your asses for this." Frenchi, Jess, Steph, and Mal all walked in, too, hearing my little rant about to start. "I'm really proud of you boys, I mean, did you see the crowd today? That's the biggest it's ever been, ever. I'm just really happy that you guys stuck it out. When you guys said that there is no stopping, you meant it." I looked at Vic and he grinned. I wanted to stop myself from talking so I wouldn't get emotional but I really meant every word. "Jo looks up to you guys so much it's practically annoying, but it must mean something totally different for him that he sees his dad and his uncles up there putting on one hell of a show."

"Liv, you do realize we couldn't have gotten this far without your help and support?" Mike said, putting his arm around Frenchi as she sat next to him. "Who else let us crash at her apartment and use her garage and let us suck all your money dry to help pay for demos and shit? I believe it was only you."

I smiled, knowing all the guys and I were thinking back to the beginning now. Jess, Steph, and Frenchi weren't around just yet for all of the experience that we had to deal with.

Tony added, "Remember when you were the only one who showed up to our early shows? You were literally the only one, with your lame ass Pierce the Veil t-shirt on." He laughed, causing all of us to follow with chuckles.

My eyes watered a little, "The meet and greet line today just freaked me out. Like, it was insane. That showed me how hard you've all been working."

Jaime came up to me and hugged me tightly, "It's great to have our first fan back again." When he said that, it made me cry. That simple sentence made me lose it, and soon Mike, Tony, and Vic all crowded around me for a hug.

I was happy that they didn't have to struggle anymore. That was far behind them, now. And it was that ideathat made me so full of pride.

We all started telling the girls about their very first show as Pierce the Veil. We laugh about it now, but they were so serious. We reminisced about seeing the "Yeah Boy and Doll Face" video on Fuse for the first time. We all cried. That's when it all started happening, it was just uphill from there. Then Steph came along when Selfish Machines was getting start, Jess after it had been released. Frenchi was new to all of this, but she quickly appreciated all that the boys had done in the past short five years.



Vic kissed me once more before giving Jo a goodbye kiss. "I'll call your mom and we could all video chat or something, okay?" He told Jonah. "I love you. Thanks for coming out, little dude. Take care of mommy, you're the man of the house until I get home, okay?"

Jonah's eyes grew wide and he smiled, "Okay daddy! I take care of mommy."

"Good, now behave and don't be bad for your mom."

"I won't." He responded, smirking slyly.

Vic rose up and he gave me a tight hug, whispering in my ear, "Paradise or bust." He then looked at me and I showed him a toothy grin.

I repeated looking into his eyes, "Paradise or bust."

He smiled, giving me a soft, special kiss. "I love you, Livvy."

"I love you too, Vic."

And, with that, Jonah and I waved bye and walked back to the car. I really did feel like crying. I was gonna miss him so much. But, I knew I always had a piece of him with me, and that piece was sitting in the backseat in a carseat. Jonah smiled, it was just like Vic's smile, and he clapped shouting, "Daddy is gonna have so much fun!"

I smiled softly, agreeing with him, "Daddy is gonna have the time of his life, babe."

HEY GUYS! Sorry about the lack of updates, but I was too busy trying to finish off my Mike story. I'm still not 100% about a sequel for this one, but if it ends up happening, you'll be the first to know.

This one is basically a filler full of memories for Vic and Livvy. We start getting more into the rest of the story for the remaining few chapters left.
