I hate school, I thought. I had gotten held back for Junior year. Twice. FML. "Derek, come on!" Mike yelled, and I hurriedly grabbed my backpack. "I'm coming!" I raced downstairs and snatched an apple, nearly slamming into Jaime. "Sorry!" I yelled over my shoulder as I ran out the door, the guys' laughter following me. I raced to the school, pumping air into my asthmatic lungs fast. Yes, I have asthma, it sucks. The only Fuentes with Asthma, damnit.
