Chapter One: Adopted By...VIC?!
"GET UP, you stupid bitch!"
"There you are!" Ms. Rose exclaimed. "The adopter will be here in 30 minutes, and you need to go and get dressed!"
"But...I amdressed..."
"No, I mean dress better!"
"Fuck off, old woman!" I snapped. She struck me. I glared at her. "You will NOT speak to me like that, understood?"
"No, you need to understand." Someone walked in. "Until you can address me correctly, with the right name and pronouns, I will not answer to you or anything you say, hag." I stormed away, unaware of the new person's eyes on me.
I stormed into the library part of the orphanage and flopped onto a beanbag chair and pulled out my phone and headphones, turning on Caraphernilia by PTV. As the music began to blare, someone sat by me, but I didn't look up. They tugged a headphone out and put it in their ear, bopping their head (I could see their hair moving).
"Good song, am I right?" The man asked. I looked up, smiling, and nodding when I froze. Vic fucking Fuentes smiled. "What, you didn't know it was me?" I shook my head, awestruck. He laughed, giving me my headphone back. I took it silently. "So..." He paused. "What are your preferred pronouns and name?"
I gulped. "Don't judge me, okay?" I mean, I knew he wouldn't, but still. "Of course not, go ahead!" He assured, smiling. "I identify as a transgender male named Parker." It was silent for a moment as Vic nodded. "SO, he/him then?" I nodded, and he smiled. "Sweet, can I call you dude?" I laughed, nodding again. "Okay, dude, listen up. I wanna adopt you, can I--Oof!" I hugged him tightly, hearing him laugh and say, "That's a yes, then?" I nodded against his chest.
He told em to pack, so I did. He signed the papers, we got things ready, and then we left.
Kimberly's loud voice startled me from a deep sleep and a dream of a BVB concert. I groaned, now noticing my alarm clock ringing, so I slammed my hand onto it, then, when it didn't stop, threw it at the wall, breaking it. Oh, well, I thought.
"C'mon, freak, Ms. Rose is waiting!" Kimberly screamed, and she trotted downstairs like a "good girl". Evil witch, I thought. I got dressed in an "emo" outfit and brushed my hair then my teeth, going downstairs for breakfast."There you are!" Ms. Rose exclaimed.
