It's been about a month since I moved in with Kellin. It was weird at first, I've always lived with Mikey, and now I don't. But that's ok because I still see him all the time. I haven't spoken to my parents since that night, and I really miss them. It's been hard for me, not having them in my life anymore, but I'm lucky to have Kellin. He makes it easier.
"Vic," he said, entering our bedroom, "Are you ready to go?"
I stood up and looked at my outfit one more time, skinny jeans, a red t-shirt, paired with my favorite black vans. We were going to Austin's house for a party, it was to kick off OM&M's new tour and every band from around here was coming.
"Yeah," I responded, walking over to grab his hand, "Let's go."
The car ride was nothing special, it was only about 15 minutes from Kellin's place. When we got their, the party was already in full swinge. Austin opened the door and ushered us in before disappearing into a crowd of people.
"I'm going to get us some drinks," I suggested.
"Ok," he responded, "I'm going to find some people to chat with."
And off we went in seperate directions. I wrestled my way through crowd's of drunken dancers and hot make outs before finding a bar. I saw Tony getting himself a drink, so I went to join him.
"Hey Tone!" I exclaimed, trying to make myself heard over the blaring music.
"Vic! Sup man?" he responded, his words were a bit slurred. I wondered how long he's been here.
"Not much. Is Mike here with you?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah he's somewhere," Tony said laughing, "I should go find him..."
I opened my mouth to respond, but he was gone. Damn, he really is a ninja turtle...
I chuckled to myself before getting a drink for myself and one for Kells. I made my way through crowds of people, some of them I knew, some of them I didn't. I made it over to one of the back walls and saw Jaime was making out with some chick, she was pressed against the wall, her arms pinned above her head by Jaime. I desided to go over and mess with them, that's my job as his best friend.
The closer I got, I realized that the girl was pretty masculine. When I was even closer I came the realization that their was no way that was a girl. Damn Jaime, did the gay rub off on you? I noticed the guy looked really familiar, but it was pretty dark so I couldn't tell who it was. Then he let out a moan that was so painstakingly familiar my heart stopped cold.
It belonged to Kellin.
Just as I realized it was him, his eyes shot opened and widened as he saw me. They filled with so much fear...
I felt the world around me stop moving. The cups slipped out of hands and hit the ground with a thud. Dark thoughts entered my head, all of the progress I've made was gone, just like that. I felt like I was going to explode. I did the only thing I could think of, I turned around and ran.
