Road trip

The final bell rang through the empty halls and busy classrooms of clairemont high school.excited for their two month summer vacations the students quickly gathered their belongings rushing out the door before they could be stopped by their teacher.
two years ago, mike, jaime, tony, vic, mia, and lucy started their first money jar labeled 2003 summer road trip. their destination? grand island,Michigan.
with all the hard work, extra shifts, and side jobs they finally had enough and then some to start their trip with each one getting to choose where to stop by on the way.
after meeting up outside by the bleachers the teens all piled up inside lucy's beloved 1962 split screen camper given to her by her father for her sixteenth birthday. each were dropped off at their houses to retrieve their already packed bags meeting up at tonys house afterwards.
with tony's mom insisting on making them dinner before they set off for the road the teens all made their way into the living room.
mia made her way on the couch with vic following after, threw his arm around her shoulders
"okay so i just looked at the request box again and all of it consists of is forests and canyons lucy said making her way to sit on her boyfriend mike's lap going through the small index cards.
"Well that's the whole point of a road trip." jaime deadpanned. lucy pursed her lips rolling her eyes smacking the boy in front of her with the cards.
"ow! hey!" he exclaimed rubbing his hair glaring at the grinning girl
"guys quit it." tony said shaking his head.
"Anyway thanks to all the hard work we have some extra cash. ya know for stuff."
"Well everything's pretty close so we should be good on food water and gas by the end of the trip." mia said looking through the note.
"yeah lucy bought a shit ton of water." mike said looking at his girlfriend. lucy looked back giving a shy smile. "What? i like water."
"we are spending two weeks in michigan right?" tony asked. mia nodded and proceeded to put the notebook back in her bag.
"it's gonna be awesome." she smiled snuggling up against vic.
lucy stood up to put a movie on to pass the time for dinner before taking her place on the love seat with mike.
an hour passed and the teens were passed out. lucy was snuggled up to mike's side as his head was thrown back mouth wide open letting out soft snores. vic was laid out on the longer couch with one arm laid across mias back and the other hanging off the couch while she was laid on her stomach her head resting on his chest. jaime and tony were laid out on the floor pillows from the couch surrounding them.
tony's mom smiled at the scene. the kids she had watched before her eyes were always a delight to see. feeling bad for disturbing the teens from their slumber reluctantly shook tony awake.
"antonio sweetheart, food's ready." tony looked at her through his sleepy eyes before nodding. his mom smiled before heading back into the kitchen to prepare the plates.
mia nuzzles her nose against vic's chest as he stretches. a long groan comes from lucy as she stretches and bends her back earning a satisfied sigh as her back pops loudly. mia scrunches her face from her place on vic. "that sounded gross dude." lucy smirked. "but it felt amazing.
mike was the first to head into the kitchen pulling his girlfriend along side with him.
jaime and tony followed suit after. leaving the two love birds by themselves. mia sat up playfully pushing the needy hands grabbing towards her.
"come on just a few more minutes." he whined
"you got a whole hour and a half with me." she chuckled vic groaned in protest but sat up wrapping his arms around her giving her a few kisses to her neck.
"I love you." he mumbled across her soft skin. she smiled leaning her head against his. they sat there a few seconds in silence before mia stood but holding her hand out.
"Come on, i'm starving." vic smiled taking her had giving it a peck then the two walked hand in hand to the kitchen.
once the teens were stuffed with their dinner. jaime a bit more stuffed than the others because who can resists mama perry's Alfredo, packed their things into the back of the van giving tony's mom a goodbye, piling into the van mike was the first one to drive to their first trip with lucy as his companion and direction giver. jaime and tony took the back seat leaving mia and vic in the middle.
as everyone gets settled mike soon starts the car driving off to their first destination.
"hey who wants to bet we'll see Sasquatch in one of these forests?"
"Seriously dude?"
