Valentina's p.o.v.
I sighed once Mike left my office and read my notes "dios santo" I say out loud and rub the temples of my forehead "what happened?" Alondra asked as she walked into my office "what did he want?" She asked jerking her head towards the door obviously asking about Mike "he's being accused of sexual assault with a minor" I tell her dropping her nose crinkled in disgust "men like him disgust me" she says
"here's the thing though she was 16 and he was 23 at the time" I say.
She raised an eyebrow at me "So? That doesn't make him any better than any other pedophile out there" She says crossing her arms over her chest "She lied to him about her age" I say she shakes her head "how do we know if he's lying?" She questioned I roll my eyes again "She posted about on social media he's the drummer of a famous band. You know that band Paola is obsessed with?" I ask
She nods "I think so Pierce something right?" She asked "Pierce The Veil," I say correcting her "well she posted about what happened in detail he found out through his fans" her mouth made an "oh" shape in understanding "did he ever know her age?" She asked I nodded "yeah after they had sex he found out through one of her friends," I say "yikes that sucks" she responds
"I think that she just regrets sleeping with him I mean why press charges after so many years but I don't know I need to keep digging into the case" I say and run a hand through my hair
"I'm sure Paola knows more than I know" Alondra chuckles at my response "that's probably true"
"Wheres Adriel?" I ask noticing that it was awfully quiet "he went to get lunch" she says I nod "he's looking so fine today" Alondra says fanning herself with her hand I chuckled "He's a gorgeous man he's always looking fine" she laughs "facts"

I pushed my glasses further up my nose as I stared at the computer screen there seemed to be a lot of holes and missing pieces in the story I want to believe the girl but nothing is making sense this case is going to be a lot harder to crack than I had anticipated
