The Last Snow: A Mother's Love

18 Hours Later - 9am

“Hey, wake up!” A voice yelled.

I let out a groan, slowly opened my eyes up and saw that we were still all in the car.

“Morning.” William chuckled, as I opened up the door.

“Are we here?” Ronnie asked, waking up himself.

“Yep, rise and shine.” William exclaimed.

Andy and Vic slowly started to come around as well, I couldn't blame Andy though, he had driven us the whole way here.

“Is everybody else up?” I asked him.

“Yes, they were up about an hour ago. they brought their stuff inside and that's all for now, we've just been waiting for you.” He told me.

“Sounds good we will just leave our stuff in the car for now, get settled in, and then we can always bring our luggage in later tonight.” I replied.

“Great.” William said.

“Give us just a few more minutes to wake up and then we'll meet you inside the house.” I told William.

He agreed and made his way back to the front porch. I looked in the mirror and noticed that both Vick and Ronnie were still struggling to stay awake, we all were going to need coffee if we needed to stay awake for longer than an hour.

The 4 of us made our way to the house and we were all struck by the sheer size of this estate. Chris had told us that it was substantially larger than our old residence, in order to give everyone more space and to attempt to create a happier environment for everyone.

What we were looking at was easily twice as big as what I had imagined.

“Well I guess we'll never have to worry about Bella running again, she'll never be able to find her way out.” Andy laughed.

“You’re not wrong.” Ronnie agreed.

Do you like what you see so far? William asked us as we walked in the front door.

“ I love it. it's truly better than I ever had imagined.” I replied.

William laughed, almost as if he knew something that we did not.

“Wait until you see where our bands’ bedrooms are.” He stated.

“Are they up stairs or downstairs?” Vic wondered.

“ Neither. Just follow me and I'll show you.” He said.

We followed him through the foyer, down and extremely lengthy hallway, And through what seemed to be a maze of other corridors. that's when we finally reached a very brightly lit back patio.

“Is there seriously a whole nother building?” Andy asked in surprised.

“Oh yeah.” William chuckled, pointing down a stone paved path.

Sure enough, about a mile away from where we were another large building sat.

This building was far less spacious horizontally, as it was built up four stories tall.

William informed us that the rest of our bandmates were in this new building, and we quickly started our journey to join them.

15 minutes later we were standing at the front door.

“This building was chosen as the one that we would sleep in due to the fact that it is much easier to contain Bella.” William explained, showing us the five different set of locks on the door.

We finally entered, and I was once again shocked by the grandeur of the building.

It resembled a very fancy hotel foyer, and I was a having a hard time believing that this was the place we were going to be staying at.

“Danny, did you have any idea as to how crazy this place was?” Ashley asked me.

“Absolutely not, but I think I'm in love.” I chuckled.

“You haven't seen anything yet.” William stated, a smile on his face.

“Let’s go!” Michael Bohn cheered.

“Alright so the layout of this building here is pretty simple. The floor level as you can see is pretty much just open space, with the exception of a tiny breakfast nook in the back corner and a bathroom across from that. There are 3 stories above this one and they have 6 rooms to each floor, but each one is quite spacious. There’s 2 staircases, one on each side and you can get to them through the black doors which serve as one more layer of security for us.” He explained.

We all followed him up the left staircase, and when we reached the second floor, he had us enter it.

As we could see from the down stairs, the top 3 floors had an indoor balcony that stretched around the whole floor.

If you looked to the direct left as soon as you got off the stairs there was a bedroom.

And on the opposite side of the floor there was another room. The other 2 sides of the floor had 2 rooms each, and one bathroom.

“Are the other two floors laid out the same way?” Remington wondered.

“Yes, it’s exactly the same.” He said.

“So who’s going to be sleeping where?” I asked.

“That’s something we’re going have to figure that out tonight. Now that you guys have the layout of this building, I’ll show you guys the other house and then we’ll sit down, and figure that out along with make a plan for what’s on the agenda for the next 2 weeks.” He told us.

“Sounds great.” Ronnie replied.

We followed him back into the other house, where we got a very intense and thorough 2 and a half tour of every nook and cranny of this house.

It was simply amazing.

Not only were the basic rooms such as the kitchen, living room, and the dining room extravagant, but the indoor theatre, vast basement, and lavish ballroom.

As the tour finished we all reconvened around the island in the kitchen.

“Alright let’s figure out first of all where we want Bella to sleep, that’ll make it a lot easier.” William said, pulling out 3 small paper diagrams of the top 3 floors in the other building.

“I think she needs to be as far away from the exit as possible, so let’s put her on the top floor right hand corner.” Andy suggested.

“We’d be more than willing to have the room next to her.” Cameron chuckled.

“And we’d take the room to the right of Bella.” Jinxx added.

“Any other takers for the top floor?” William wondered.

Members from Issues and Palaye Royale raised their hands and it was settled, but we needed one more band, one that would be across from Bella.

“Let’s just throw Blessthefall up there.” DJ suggested.

“I don’t see why not. That sounds like a good top floor to me. Now for the 3rd floor.” William said.

We went back and forth for a while about who belonged on that floor, but we finally were able to figure it out.

Tyler would be directly under Bella with SWS across from him. Next to Tyler was BMTH, and across from them was Kuza. Lastly we’d have ATL by the right staircase, and DJ and Michael would be by the left staircase.

“Awesome, so that’ll leave myself, MIW, ETF, OM&M, FIR, and then of course Pierce the Veil for the second floor. I think that leaves all of us with a good level of security on each floor which is good, and as far as how you set up who sleeps where in each room I’d suggest having more…’influential’ people closer to the door.” William chuckled.

“I’m going to take a wild guess that we’re going to be putting together those 50+ bed frames.” Jaime said.

“Yes, but not today. We’ve got a few more menial tasks that need to be done today.” He replied.

“Who’s doing what?” I asked.

“It doesn’t matter who does what task, but by tonight we need to get all of the locks set up, we need to install some security measures in the buses, and then bring in all of the boxes and start to get them into their designated rooms, and unpack.” He explained.

“Let’s get going!” Ben chanted.

It took a while to figure out who was going to do what, but when we got everything figured out I was headed towards the front yard where all of the bands’ buses were parked.

“Where do you want to start?” CC asked me, as we finally got to the buses.

“I guess we can start from left to right.” I said.

We made our way into the bus furthest to the left which happened to be All Time Low’s.

Our project was to install some “security measures” into the buses in case for some reason we would need Bella to be on a bus. We would be installing both a set of handcuffs and a gag, so that if need be we could restrain Bella and keep her quiet in a relatively easy way.

In other cases we’d have more elaborate ways to restrain her such as a bed, but in the confines of a bus and especially in situations that happen in the blink of an eye, a gag and handcuffs would have to do.

As long as she was quiet and still, that’s all that mattered.

“Are you thinking we should keep them to the back of the bus, or more towards the front?” CC wondered.

“I’m going to say near the front, only because if she’s in the back, less people are likely to be there opposed to the front lounge.” I explained.

He agreed with me and we started to then ponder where exactly it would best fit. We came to the conclusion that it would work well right next to table across from the fridge and stove. The counter across from it would hide her from anyone peeking in the door, and it would also be easy enough to get around her….again only if need be.

This was one of those prepare for a last resort kind of things.

CC held up the 7x7 inch black metal square to the wall as I drilled a total of 12 screws into each square to make sure it wouldn’t move. From there I took the metal ring that was in the middle of each square and clipped on the handcuffs as well as a ball gag.

After each one was installed we both gave a good strong tug on it to make sure that it wasn’t going anywhere, and thankfully none of them were.

We finished the last one up and CC started to head out the door.

“Hey, can you wait a sec?” I asked him, with something on my mind that I needed to just get out.

“Yeah man, what’s up?” He asked, coming back onto the bus.

“I’ve just been thinking about Bella a lot lately. Now that we’re actually starting to implement this plan to get her, she’s really been all I can think about.” I admitted.

“What exactly have you been thinking about?” He wondered.

“The fact that after we made it official she was the one we all wanted- I never wanted to hurt her. When we were at the old house, I think I snapped at her so much because I was so frustrated that she couldn’t look one layer deeper and realize that Tyler wasn’t the only one who loved her. We all did, hell we all love her more now since she’s been away for so damn long. What I never ever saw or imagined in a million years though, was the fact that we would get to the point where us taking her back meant taking her away from her child. That was never in any of our hundreds of plans, and I’m worried that that’s going to fuck her up real bad.” I explained.

“I know what you mean, Danny. That’s her own flesh and blood. What I tell myself to keep myself sane is that we didn’t do that to her. Not that it makes the situation better...but let’s face it, if Bella wouldn’t have left that last time, she wouldn’t have gotten knocked up by that asshole in the first place.” He replied.

“I don’t want her to look at me and only be able to see a person keeping her from her child.” I said.

“You can change that, we all can. I mean we’re not all going to be Tyler status...but we’ll also probably be better off than TJ.” CC chuckled.

“Do you really believe that?” I asked him.

“I have to or else it really won’t happen.” He said.

“I just need her to feel at home, and I want her to feel like a fucking princess.” I groaned.

“Then let’s go and create her own little Colorado Castle.” CC told me.

“Deal.” I laughed, now making our way back into main house.

We definitely could make this work.

We had to.
