Misadventures (A Vic Fuentes Fanfiction)

A couple of days passed since the first day of Warped Tour, and I still haven't talked to Skye. I didn't have anything to say to her about what had happened.

Ever since my little 'incident with Vic' I haven't seen him around. He stopped trying to talk to me and honestly I was feeling great about it. I hated how much my past kept coming back around to bite me in the butt. All I wanted was to play Warped Tour and have the summer of a life time.

"Alright Phoenix, Arizona! It's been quite an honor playing for you guys today! Now we have one more song for you guys. If you ever feel like someone in your life has lied to you or gone behind your back...well this song's for you, so if you know the words sing along." I said to the crowd as I looked over at Skye. I started the beginning guitar riff to the song as the crowd went wild over it.

"This one's called Little White Lie." I said into the mic. I know it was a shitty thing to do but again she hurt me very badly and I was still mad at her for what she's done. Skye just rolled her eyes.

During the second verse of the song, my eyes were drifting over the audience and a certain person caught me by surprise. The widest of eyes staring back at me. Kellin. What the hell was he doing here? Didn't he hate me? If he did why was he watching our set? It's not like I can go confront him about it...every time I try to he pushes me away.

As soon as he saw me look at him he took off. Just as mysterious as he came here; he left. The song finished and we said goodbye to the audience one last time before heading off stage.

"Damn that was a good show!" Jesse said we we came around the back.

I grabbed a water and chugged it down. "Yeah it was."

"Hey Skye what abou-," Jesse started to ask Skye but she just walked through us and disappeared.

"What's her problem?" Jesse asked me.

I just shrugged, "Beats me." Truth was I didn't want Jesse knowing about the 'Addy and Skye' feud.

"Hey but I'm actually gonna go, I gotta meet up with someone." I said standing up to leave.

"Oooooo is it a certain someone I should know about?" She asked nudging my side.

"Trust me, it's nothing like that. I'll catch you later though." She nodded.

Now it was my mission to go find Kellin and find out what his problem is. I won't let him push me away this time. Not when he means so much to me.

I decided to walk the entire venue to look for him until I made my way to the buses. It was deathly hot outside but I was determined.

With no luck I headed over to the buses, checking Sleeping with Sirens first. I didn't really know his band mates that well but that wasn't going to stop me. I knocked on the door.

After a couple of minutes the door opened to a man with pale skin and ginger hair. "Oh hello...what is a pretty girl like yourself doing here?" He said to me with a smile on his face.

"Uhm hi...is Kellin around?" I asked him.

"Oh another one...no he isn't, but I'm available if you wanna do more than talk. The names Jesse." He said as he winked at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Uh Jesse...I'm flattered and all but I'm just looking to talk to Kellin. I'm Addy by the way."

"Oh you're the infamous Addy Wolfe! We've heard so much about you!"

"Really? Kellin talks about me?"

"Oh yeah he used to talk about you and Skye all the time." He said.

"He did?" I asked.

"A lot."

"Well do you know where he might be by any chance?" I asked him.

"I think the last time I heard he was headed to the ptv boys bus to practice King For A Day." He said pointing in the direction of their bus. Oh great.

"Jesse, thanks." I said as I turned to leave.

"Don't mention it but hey Addy!"

I turned around, "Yeah?"

"If you ever wanna hang you're always welcome here!" He said to me. I nodded and kept going.

I had to brace myself before even considering knocking on the door. What if Vic answers? I don't even know how to deal with that. What if Vic isn't even in there? God so many questions were roaming through my head I didn't know what to think or do.

I paced back and forth outside the door, reminding myself I was only here for one purpose...and that was to try to resolve this 'issue' between Kellin and I. I really missed having my guy best friend around and it was killing me that I couldn't talk to him.

As soon as I gathered enough courage, I knocked on the door. It opened and Tony was standing there.

"Oh...hey Addy." Tony sounded a little sad when he said my name. After all this time of being mad at Skye I did't realize how I might have hurt Tony when I caught them together. Now I gotta fix this.

"Hey Tone, actually can you and I talk for a sec?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck.

He nodded and stepped outside the bus with me. We both leaned against the bus and silence came over us.

"I just wanted to apologize, Tony." He didn't say anything.

"Are we really the band that hurt you?" He asked me.

That question hit me really hard. I said this days ago and he still remembers that. Was that really going through his mind?

"Tony, of course not."

"But you said it the other day when you saw...us." He said blushing a little bit.

"I know...it was just in the heat of the moment. I was mostly talking about Vic." He nodded.

"Besides, how could I hate you, Turtle?" I said nudging him a little.

He smiled. "So you aren't mad at me?" He asked.

"No, I'm only mad at Skye...and Vic."

He nodded, "You know we've all missed you. "

"I've missed you guys, too."

"So are we all good then?" He asked.

"Yeah we are." I smiled and Tony brought me in for a hug. It was so warm and comforting...I never knew how much I could miss Tony's hugs.

"So what brings you around the bus this time?" He asked as we pulled apart.

"I really need to talk to Kellin, actually can you get him for me....I still don't want to face Vic." I asked the turtle. He nodded and went back on the bus.

A couple minutes passed and eventually I saw Kellin walk out looking annoyed. "You want to talk so badly, fine...let's talk." He said to me.

"Kellin, why we're you at our set today? If you hate me so badly why were you there?" I asked crossing my arms.

"I don't have to answer to you."

"Are you serious? Why are you being so stubborn with me?" I raised my voice to him.

"I'm being stubborn?"

"Yeah you are! I'm trying to fix whatever problem that we have Kellin, because unlike you I actually miss my best friend!"

"And you think that I don't?"

"Judging from the way you've been acting lately...yeah!"

"Well you're wrong, Addy."

I got confused, "What?"

"Addy, months ago, when Skye and I broke up...you were there for her. Where were you for me?"

I fell completely silent.

"Did it ever occur to you that I was hurting? I loved her and when things went to shit, you weren't anywhere to be found." He told me. I could tell in his wide eyes that he was hurting; he was still hurting.

"Kellin...I didn't know that." I said as I rested my hand on his shoulder. Now I felt bad. All this time I thought Skye needed me...but it was really Kellin who did.

"Yeah, well..."

"Kellin, I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to ignore you like that. I feel terrible about it."

He looked up at me, "Addy it's okay."

"No it's not, Kellin. It's not okay. I was a shitty friend to you and I completely understand if you never forgive me for it."

"Addy seriously it's fine. When I saw you in the coffee shop a week ago, a part of me wanted to talk to you...but the hurt part in me just told me to run...so I did. I've realized that I probably should've talked to you about it sooner then let it eat at me."

"So are you saying that you forgive me?" I asked.

"In a weird way...yeah I forgive you. I don't like idea of not being friends with you anymore."

"Me too." I said as we hugged each other. God I was settling all the problems in my life except for two, and I wasn't planning on letting those go any time soon.

"So you never answered my question, why were you at our set today?" I asked as we pulled apart.

"Well I wanted to see your band but I was also there to see...Skye."

"Skye? I thought you guys were done."

"Yeah we are...but...I might still have a little bit of feelings for her."

My eyes grew wide. I can't believe Kellin still likes Skye, maybe if I tell her she won't be with Tony. After all Skye and Kellin do have a history together. If Skye just see's that Sleeping with Sirens is on tour, it'll bring up old feelings.

"Oh my god, Kellin! You have to go see her! You have to go tell her!" I told him.

He shook his head. "Addy I can't do that. I'm still not ready yet."

"So you were already thinking about doing it?"

He nodded, "Oh yeah...the first time I saw her here actually."

"Wow...maybe I can talk to her for you?"

"If you don't mind...please Addy, I still love her." He said pleading with me.

"Yeah Kel, I will." He smiled.

**Flashback**

"Skye...what would you think of an MCR tattoo?" I asked, showing her pictures of people's tattoos on my phone.

"Oh my god yes! We could get ray-guns with each other's killjoy names on them!" She said getting excited.

"And make it a friendship tattoo?"
She nodded.

"That's actually not a bad ide-," I got interrupted by Skye's phone dinging. Skye picked it up and grunted.

"What? Is everything okay?" I asked her.

She never looked up from her phone as she answered.

"No it's not. Kellin is driving me absolutely crazy and I'm kind of over it." She said still typing.

"What's he doing now?" Knowing what her and Kellin have been through.

"You're seriously not going to believe this...after all the shit he's done to me, he's twisting it to make it seem like he's the victim in all of this."

"Wow, why doesn't he ever understand when you tell him these things?"

"I don't know! I've only been telling him for the past two years!" She said throwing down her phone.

"Like he never respec-," Her phone dinged again. She stopped talking and picked it up. She grunted again.

"That's it! I'm ending this....now!" She said.

"Whoa whoa, Skye...are you sure about this?" I said trying to get her to reason with herself.

"Yeah I'm 100% sure, Addy, I've had enough of his shit and I can't handle it anymore...let another girl deal with it!"

Before I could say anything Skye had picked up her phone and called Kellin. Wow, the balls on this girl.

"No Kellin you listen!" She yelled in the phone.

"You never respect my boundaries or my choices. If I even look at a guy, you go all apeshit on me...even if it's some random dude- oh I'm the crazy one? Kellin I'm not the one who can't seem to listen, I've been telling you my problems for the past two years of this fucked up relationship!"

I've seen Skye get heated in things like this before but I've always known that Kellin gets under her skin. This time was way different. I've never seen her so angry before. I just decided to sit on the bed and wait till the phone call was over.

"You know what Kellin, I've been thinking about this for a while and honestly I can't handle being in a relationship with you anymore. It's gotten to the point where I can't stand to be around you right now and I shouldn't feel like that when I'm dating someone. So I think it's time we end this...it's clearly not working out if we're still having the same issues." She said this time in a more calm tone.

I'm actually very surprised by how Skye handled all of this. She yelled a little bit, but not as much as I expected her too.

"Goodbye Kellin." She said as she hung up the phone.

I looked at her. "So...how do you feel?" I asked.

She looked over to me with a smile, "Better...a lot better."

"So you're officially single now..." She nodded.

"Addy, it honestly feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I could get used to it."
She said laying on the bed and kicking back.

"Is Kellin okay with all of this?"

"I really don't care but it's better for him...maybe he'll finally find a girl who will love dealing with all of...that." She said, I laughed.

"Good so now you won't call me at 3 am wanting to rant about the shit he tells you." She threw a pillow at me.

"If I call you at 3 am, you know it'll be about food." She said.

"True."
