Dreamless In Early Graves

Misguided by darkness.

Parker's P.O.V

It had been two weeks since me and aria had set off on our adventure and we were sat on a train headed down to Brighton. Aria wanted to see the coast, I just wanted to see her happy.I hadn't seen her smile as much as she had in the past 2 weeks but I was still worried, she wasn't eating properly and she kept tugging at her sleeves. I don't want to her to be nervous around me, I had already seen the scars at the tattoo shop. Heck I was there before they had turned to scars!
"Hey Aria, how about we grab some chips and head down to the sea front when we get there?"
"Huh? Oh yeah sure" She seemed really distant today so I decided to ease up on the questions for the rest of the journey,.

20 minutes later we arrived in Brighton town centre and Aria still seemed a little too quiet and so I grabbed her hand, started to pull her towards to seafront. I grabbed my phone and took a quick picture of her posing underneath a Brighton sign, I had to post this. She looked adorable in her ripped skinny black jeans, black cap and baggy PTV shirt. We grabbed some chips and sat on the beach. It was typical British weather, dark black clouds and cold winds but we didn't mind. I looked over at Aria, for the first time in days she had eaten something and was actually smiling and laughing.
"How about we hit the arcades?" I asked her knowing how much she would love it.
"Yes! We can try and get one of those bears out of the grabber machine!!" She squealed with excitement.
I jumped up and grabbed our bags but as Aria went to get up her eyes rolled back and she dropped to the floor. She looked so small and so lifeless I began to scream for help.

Aria's P.O.V

We had just finished our when Parked suggested going to the arcade, I loved the idea. I hadn't been this happy since before the accident and I could barely remember what it felt like to laugh before now. Parker grabbed our stuff and just as I to start walking this odd feeling came over me and before I knew it everything had gone black, the last thing I heard was Parker calling my name...
