Floral and Fading (Tony Perry fanfiction)

I ran back to the tour bus, “HARLEY!!” I yelled in the hopes that she’s even here.

“YEAH BABE IN THE BACK!” Her voice took me by surprise, I thought she’d be off with maybe the story so far boys.

“Okay so, I was hanging out with tony earlier today right? And then out of nowhere Ansley from Jule vera comes in and starts talking to tony. She wasn’t rude about it or anything but I can tell the way she was talking to him and looking at him, she’s really into him. And I brought it up to tony, and then he told me he used to like her. I don’t know dude even though he said he’s over her, I still get the feeling he’s into her in a way.” I could feel my heart rate going up a bit. “But he did ask If I’m going to the neck deep party tonight.”

“Damn that is a tough situation, especially since we’re gonna be with both of them all summer. Hmm If she’s gonna be at the neck deep party tonight, I’ll try to see them interacting with each other. Then I’ll let you know if you got anything to worry about alright babe?” She responded while putting her hair back up in a bun.

“Ahh okay, but anyways how are you and vic hmm” I winked.

“Honestly like he’s better than i could’ve imagined. He’s such a gentleman and it’s so nice cause we just sit and talk for what feels like hours.” I could see her cheeks turning to blush the more she carried on, but then that blush started to stop. “But his ex kept blowing up his phone… like literally every 5 minutes it was another text. He didn’t tell me who it was though.” I could see her facial expression change into a worry.

“Hey babe I’m sure it’s no one important, or to worry about. He ignored it while he was with you. And she’s probably someone who can’t take a hint.” I said while rubbing her back.

“You’re right, It’ll all be good.” I saw the smile start to form again.

“What do you wanna drink mate?” Dani from Neck deep came up to me and asked while giving me a hug.

“Have any hard lemonade for me?” I said while still hugging him.

“Of course I’ll be right back! Don’t move!” He ran off towards the cooler by their bus.

“I’ll try not to!” I yelled back.

Dani came back with my drink, “Thanks Dani!” I gave him one last hug before he ran off.

Before I could start to walk off to socialize, I felt fingers poke my sides again. Instead of making a squeak sound a yelled, “PERRY!”

I turn around to a laughing tony perry, “I’m sorry walker you were just standing there! I couldn’t let that opportunity pass!”

“Ughhh you suck!” I said standing a little closer to him.

“Wanna join the guys and I over there?” I said while pointing in the direction near some of the other buses.

“Yeah sure!” I followed tony over and saw the guys. I saw a couple other people with them, but the guys are so tall I couldn’t see.

“SKY MY FAVORITE LADY!!” I heard jaime yell in the distance.

“JAIME!!” I ran towards him and hugged him, he picked me up then put me back on the ground.

“Alright jaime! Put her down!” Said Vic who was behind jaime.

After Jaime put me down I started talking to the guys.

“Sky do you know the story of drunk tony?” Mike said while taking his sips of whiskey.

“No! I don’t actually! If you say tony is a sappy drunk, I’m gonna die” I said while laughing.

“Oh no no no, even worse! Tony ends up in places, and we don’t even know how or why” Mike started to explain, but then was interrupted by tony.

“Oh God, Mike no, Don’t tell her!” I could see Tony’s face starting to turn red again.

“Sorry turtle I gotta tell her, so anyways one day after a show tony took off and got super drunk. We didn’t know where he went. But when we got back to the bus, there was tony on top of the bus with a bottle hand.”

I interrupted mid way just bursting in laughter, I could feel my side starting to hurt. I tried to make out a sentence, “Tony… how?”

“I honestly have no idea! All I remember is sitting on top of the bus and them asking me, “Tony why are you on top of the bus?” and just replying, “Why aren’t you on top of the bus?” Tony said while laughing a little.

I continued laughing my ass off, after I was able to recollect myself the guys continued on to tell me stories of them drunk. Mid way through Vic’s story, I saw him look over and started to wave someone over.

“Hey Oli! Come over here! We’re sharing drunk stories, I wanna tell sky about us in Germany!” Vic continued to wave Oli over. I felt my heart race start to pick up again, what do I do? My thoughts became interrupted by vic voice, “Sky, have you met Oli?”

I just froze… I forgot that no one knew that Oli and I dated. Except Harl and the band mates…

I don’t think Oli could see me passed the guys around me, I had to think of something fast.

“Actually guys I think I might’ve left candle on in the bus, I’m gonna go check on that…” Before I could finish my sentence I saw Oli’s eyes meet mine and start to light up, but mine were doing the opposite. I could feel my heart get heavy, but I found enough in me to finish my sentence and leave. “I’ll catch up with you guys later okay?”

The guys waved bye and I could see Tony’s eyes look disappointed, but I couldn’t stay. I picked up my pace and went towards the bus. I heard footsteps catch up to me.

I was hoping it was Tony,but I was wrong.

“Sky!” I heard the british voice yell for me again. “Please talk to me!”

I started running faster, but I felt his hand reach for my arm. I turned around trying to keep the tears from running down my face. “OLI THERE’S NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT, LEAVE ME ALONE!” I didn’t mean to sound so angry but I couldn’t help it.

“Sky, I know I…” He started to speak, but I cut him off. By this point the tears were already running down my face.

“NO STOP! THERE’S NOTHING MORE TO SAY. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME? SORRY?! DON’T TALK TO ME.” I yelled and took my arm out of his hand, and started to run back.

I heard more footsteps running in my directions, “GOD OLI FUCK OFF!” Harley yelled and ran caught up with me.

I needed to lay down, My breaths became faster, I started to feel light headed. My whole body was trembling. I could hear Oli’s voice still trying to reason with me but I kept going.

I felt harley’s hand grab mine and run with me towards the bus. I didn’t have enough energy to go inside the bus. I just sat down outside of it and harl joined me on the ground.

“How’d you know I was running from him again?” I managed to say passed my hyperventilating.

“Well I was headed over towards you and the guys and I saw in the distance Vic call Oli over and I knew he would try something dumb. I tried to get there before Oli could, but he beat me to it.” She said while hugging me again.

“God harl, Why can’t he take the hint?! I want nothing to do with him?! He hurt me so bad harl..” I let the tears just run down my face, I hated that he still had this hold on me.

“I know, I know. Trust me what he did was terrible, and everytime I see his dumb ass face I wanna kick him in his balls” Harley said. I let out a laugh, see this is why I love her. She always knows how to make me laugh.

“Okay, I think my breathing is coming back down to a normal pace. I think I’m Okay to head back..” I said while picking myself back up a bit, Harl followed.

I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket, I pulled it out. It was from Tony.

Tony: Hey sky I was just checking to see if you’re alright.. I was gonna see if you were okay since you left the group, in a bit of a panic. But then Oli ran after you, and I heard a faint yell in the distance and It sounded like you.

Oh no… He heard me yell at Oli.. fuck I don’t even know what to say.

Me: Yeah I’m doing better, It’s just a bit complicated is all... I really appreciate you checking on me though! (:

My phone buzzed again

Tony: Anytime sky! Think you’ll come back to the party? I think Jaime is ready to show you his downward dog and he keeps talking about wanting to smell your hair…

That brought a smile to my lips. I responded back: Haha how could I miss that?! I’ll be right over! (:

Tony: Awesome! Can’t wait!

“Did you get a text from Mr. perry hmmmm?” She asked giving me her face she usually made when I got all happy over a guy.

“Maaaaybe.” I winked at her and started walking back to the party.

I made my way towards the guys, and as soon as I head over I see long blonde hair. It was ansley, I made a signal with my eyes to harl to tell her there’s ansley and of course she’s standing next to Tony. I don’t like being the jealous type, but I just feel it brewing in my heart and my head. I never act on it or show it, It just lingers there.

“SKY! HARLEY!” Vic yelled over and the little group circle opened up so harl and I could squeeze in. I could see his eyes immediately go to harley, it was so cute.

“Hey sky!” Tony said interrupting his convo with ansley and giving me a hug. I could see out of the corner of my eye, her eyes rolling.

“Hey perry!” I hugged him back and making it last a bit, I honestly started to forget all about Oli.

Then I felt someone’s body right behind me and jumped a bit, I turned around to a jaime sniffing my hair.

“Jesus! Jaime! Again with the hair sniffing! Haha!” I said while walking to the cooler to grab another drink.

“I can’t help it sky!” He slurred, and seemed barely able to stand up.

As I started to walk back to the group from the cooler I saw ansley grab tony’s hand and take him behind the buses. I felt the pit in my stomach start to form again, maybe he does still like her...
