Floral and Fading (Tony Perry fanfiction)

Today’s the day. The first unofficial day of warped, the pre party is starting at 6. Oh God, I don’t even completely know what I even want to wear. I said to myself as my body still hasn’t left my bed since I woke up which was about an hour ago.

After finally forcing myself out of bed I head over to my bathroom to see what damage was done while I was sleeping. As soon as I walked over into the bathroom and looked into the mirror, I startled myself!
My hair was a curly frizzy mess, I had some remnants of mascara stuck under my eyes. I guess that’s what I get for not washing my face completely. I looked horrible, I don’t look ready to see pierce the veil, I don’t even look ready for worst case scenario to see Oli, I don’t even look ready to see myself.
Sometimes If I look at myself too long my self-esteem gets in the way and that’s when I know it’s time to stop looking at myself.
After taking one last hard look at my own reflection, I put my music on shuffle hopped in the shower. The first song to come on is “Let this go” by Paramore, I let the warm water hit my back then start to sing along.

After my shower I wrapped my hair in a towel and got started on my makeup. I started going through pinterest for some inspiration, I settled on a mauve smokey eye and some winged liner. To make myself feel better I put on some false lashes and a matte nude lip. My face looked great! I took my hair out of its towel cocoon, and decided to let it air dry till I straightened it.

I headed over to my closet to see the clothes I had bought with Harley. I wanted something to show my tattoos. I have quite a few tattoos on myself.

I picked out my black high waist shorts, Thigh high socks, and a black tank crop top, my camouflage jacket, and my forever favorite Docs. I layed my outfit out on my bed and started to hear a faint buzzing sound coming from my bathroom. I ran over to see I was getting a call from Harley.

“Hey love!” I said while pressing the speaker button.

“Sky!!!!! Facetime me! I don’t know what to wear! PLEASE!” she begged over the phone but before I could even respond back, I was already getting a request to face time. I accepted the facetime call on my laptop, so I could let my phone charge.

“Harl we just went shopping yesterday! What do you mean you don’t know what to wear!?” I asked while sectioning off my hair to get it ready to straighten it.

“Sky I don’t know! Help me!” She said seeming already a bit frazzled.

“Okay, if you still have those overalls, wear that with the new ying-yang crop top you just bought and for your hair space bun it.” I said to her as I was bringing the flat iron to my frizzy curls.

“Okay, Okay. After I’m done I’ll head over then we can load everything up in my car and be off.” Harl said, I could her breathing starting to steady itself.

“Awesome see you soon!” I said before waving bye!


I finished up straightening my hair and started to put on my clothes. I could feel a large pit in my stomach. I felt nervous and anxious at the same time. Then I heard I a knock at my door. I walked over with my luggage in hand ready to go. I open the door and grab my purse.

“Well don’t you look cute!” I said while locking my door to Harley.

“so do you! Are you ready?!” She said while grabbing my luggage from my hand and taking it to her trunk!

“Yeah! Are you ready to see the love of your life?” I said while laughing, her face turned red.

“Shut up! I know you got all dressed up for Tony!” She said while laughing at me, I felt my face turn red too.

“pffft what?! Me? And Tony? Whattttt.” I laughed while trying to play it off.

“Mhhmmm, sure” She said while starting the car.

It was a good thing I only lived 15 minutes away from the House of blues which is where the Pre Party is for tonight. Warped rented us out a room with unlimited drinks and food for the night. And thankfully Jenna told us our Bus will be parked in the back so we could just stay there for the night.

As soon as I Haley pulled her car up to the venue I could tell we were feeling the same way.
“We got this!” I said to Harl as her and I were going out of the car.

We grabbed our bags and started heading inside, as soon as we approached the large black metal doors, There were two tall men guarding the door, Harley and I reached into our pockets and took out our Warped passes. The two men looked at each other and let us in.

“Thank you!” Her and I yelled as we were making our way into the building.

As soon as we entered the room, Kellin came up to us with Jack Daniels in his hand.

“Isn’t it my two favorite girls?!” Kellin slurred while taking another sip of his drink. “I feel like I haven’t seen you guys in so long.” This time wrapping his arms around Harl and I. “Let me get you guys some drinks! You guys stay right here!”

Kellin went to get us drinks, Harl and I looked around seeing who was all here, and laughing at the fact kellin was going around and basically hugging everyone. Last summer we were the opening act for kell the guys, Kellin can range from giggly to a very touchy feely drunk.

“Here you guys go!!” kellin handed us our drinks with a smile going from ear to ear.

“hah thanks kel!” Replied Harley when she reached for her drink.

“No problems guys! See you later!” Kellin slurred again and ran off.

Harl went off to go talk to the Neck deep boys, and I went to go get another drink. As she left me I went around a bit and talked to Jeremy from A day to remember, and Jenna from tonight alive. They were such nice people. After I left them I made my way to the bar to get another drink.


“Oh God I am so sorry, I wasn’t paying attention..” I said while still on the floor trying to get back up. I looked up to see a hand in my face signaling for me to grab it. I grabbed the hand and it brought me back up to my feet. When I finally looked up to see who I had ran into and apologize again it was Mike.

“Oh no, don’t apologize I should’ve been paying attention are you good dude?” He said while fixing his hat.

“Oh yeah, I’m fine just a little wet..” I said while, Mike laughed. “Oh god, That’s a what she said moment ha.. ha..” I could feel my cheeks turning red a bit.

“Hah yeah, here let me get you another drink. What do you want?” Mike asked trying to flag down the bar tender.

“Just some whiskey for me!” I replied back to mike.

“Aye! I love whiskey! Haha I’m starting to like you already!” Mike said as he finally flagged down the bar tender and told him my order.

Mike grabbed the cup from the bar tender and handed it to me, “Oh yeah I’m Mike by the way!”

“Haha I know who you are, I love your band! And my name is Sky!” I said before sipping my whiskey.

“Well sweet meeting you sky, you’re pretty chill!” Before I could respond I heard a man behind mike almost yelling and laughing, “MIKE WHO IS THIS FINE LADY?” I looked over to see it was Jaime. Jaime squeezed between mike and I to introduce himself.

“Hey there, I’m Jaime” A drunk Jaime said with a wink.

“Hello! I’m sky!” I said while putting my drink aside.

Jaime wrapped his arm around me and said, “You know sky, You are really short, and you have some good smelling hair.” Jaime Slurred as he kept smelling my hair
“JAIME LEAVE THE POOR GIRL ALONE!” I heard a familiar voice yell from behind me, It was nothing but the one and only Vic Fuentes!

I felt Vic’s hand pry Jaime off me, “I am so sorry about him, He’s just really touchy when he’s drunk, hey! Your sky right? From Meet My Fate!”
I didn’t even know how to respond, where is Harley? Shes not witnessing any of this?! I ran into Mike, Jaime tried hitting on me, and Vic knows our band. Oh my god.

“Yeah I am!” I said trying not to smile too big.
“Yeah! I love your Album, It’s pretty sick. The intros are killer!” Vic said to me.
“Haha thanks It took forever to make, but all worth it. I know Harley is somewhere around here, I know she’ love to meet you guys too!” I said to Vic while also looking around to find her.

“That’d be great, the guys and I were about to actually head to our bus why don’t you meet us there! I don’t know where Tony is somewhere, you’ll get to meet him to! Here’s I’ll give you number text me when you’re ready to come and chill! It’ the bus with the mustache on the front! Can’t miss it!” Vic said while putting his number and my phone.
After the boys took off back to their bus, I ran around the room looking for Harley.

I ran around asking our friends if they’ve seen her. I was about to run past ben from neck deep but I stopped myself in my tracks.

“Hey ben!” I said tapping his shoulder.

Ben turned around with an enthusiastic expression on his face, “SKY!! I HAVEN’T SEEN YOU IN MONTHS MATE!” He said while bringing me in for a tight hug. I hugged him back. I always loved ben and the rest of the neck deep boys. They were always so happy to talk to everyone and really down to earth even with their fans.

“Yeah! Hey I know you were with Harley earlier! I’m actually looking for her right now! Do you know where she went off to?” I asked while still being in bens tight hug.

“Ummmm I think she went off with parker from the story so far!” He said while letting go of me, and looking around. “Yeah I see her with parker by the back door!”

“Sweet thanks ben see you later!” I said giving him one last hug goodbye.

“No thanks, Ill text you later!” He replied back.
I ran over to the back door towards Harley and parker about to take some shots!

“HARLEY I HAVE BIG NEWS! Also, Hey Parker” I said yelling at her before she took her shot. Parker Waved.

“Sky I’ll talk after I’m done!” She said.

“But vic…” I started to say but she beat me, before I could finish.

Harley dropped her about to be second shot and quickly said, “You had me at Vic!”

I pulled Harley over to a quieter area, “Harl, Ptv wants us to chill in their tour bus!” I said trying to contain my excitement.

Harley’s Jaw dropped as her eyes started to get bigger, “How?!” she said practically yelling at me.

“Okay, So after you left me to drink with neck deep I talked to Jenna and Jeremy for a bit then I went to go get another drink. So on my way to the bar, I don’t know if mike wasn’t paying attention or I wasn’t but we ran into each other and I fell to the floor got my drink spilled on me, well what was left of it. And mike helped me back up and we both said sorry, then he got me another drink. Then Jaime came out of know where and started hitting on me, he was drunk by the way. He also smelled my hair a lot”

“Wait, he smelled your hair?” She said while laughing her ass off.

“Yes he kept smelling my hair,” I said while laughing too, “but I gotta finish! Anyways then Vic came up from behind me and pried Jaime off of me and apologizing for him. Then He recognized who I was! I was saying how much he loved our intros and our Album! Then I said thank you and said I lost you somewhere and then he said yeah you guys should meet tony and chill with us, at our tour bus!” I finally finished and Harley just froze. “Harl are you okay?” I asked while snapping my fingers in her face to get her out of her daze.

She snapped out of it, “Sorry I’m just letting it sink in” She said while actually realizing our reality. “Okay before we go let me get all my fangirl energy out and jump around.” She said to me and I nodded.

I watched Harley Jump around and do her fan girling for a bit, It was actually pretty funny I wanted to record her and put it on snapchat so bad, but the good friend I am, I decided not to. As Harley started to come back down from her high she came up to me, “Okay I’m good now. Ready to go?”

“Yeah, let me text Vic to let him know we’re on our way!”

Sky: Hey vic it’s sky! Harley and I are gonna start heading over to find your bus! It’s the one with the mustache on the front right??
Vic: Hah yeah it’ll be on the front bumper! And sweet excited to hang out with you guys! You also get to meet Tony! (:

I could feel myself starting to blush at the mention of Tony.

Sky: Sweet, see you soon! c:

Her and I walk around to the back to where all the tour buses are, I don’t even know how we were gonna find which one was theirs. It looked like a sea, and Harley and I were caught in the middle.

“DO YOU SEE IT?” I yelled over to Harley who was a few buses a way.

“UMM I THINK SO, I THINK I SEE A MUSTACHE ON ONE! OR ITS JUST A LARGE DIRT STAIN!” She yelled back flagging me over to go to where she is. I made my way over and squinted my eyes.

“I think that’s it!” I said while holding my hand up to high five.

As we approach the bus, I stop. “What if he hates me?” I said to Harley as she turned around to walk back to where I was standing.

“Girl, he isn’t going to hate you come on!” She said pulling my arm. “Wait, what if Vic doesn’t like me?” She asked also pausing.

“Babe, He’ll love you I promise.” I said while smiling to her.

As we approached the bus, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

I could hear Jaime yelling all the way from outside. “Jaime shut up! We have guest over!” I heard Vic yell to Jaime from outside the door.

“Hey guys! Come on in!” Vic said while holding the door open for us.

We walked in to see mike and Jaime sitting on the couch playing FIFA. They guys paused their game and got up to say Hello!

“So guys this is my best friend Harley, She’s the other vocalist in the band!” I said moving aside to show her behind me.

“Hey guys!” She said waving and smiling!

“I’m Mike!” He said while taking off his hat.

“Hey there I’m Jaime!” Jaime said, seeming a bit soberer than 30 minutes ago.

“And I’m Vic!” I could see Vic blushing a bit when he introduced himself to Harley. If only he knew how she felt on the inside right now. Surprisingly Harley was keeping it really calm. A lot better than I thought she would.

“TURTLE STOP BEING SHY AND COME OUT HERE WE HAVE GUESTS!” Yelled mike as he sat back down on the couch!

I saw a door open from the back and out came tony, I felt my heart race and pulse throughout my body, I’m assuming I seemed pretty calm since Harley wasn’t looking at me weird.

Tony came closer to where the rest of the group was and looked at me, and brought his hand to his neck. “Hey I’m turtl…. I mean Tony!” I could tell he was getting a bit shy and embarrassed. I giggled a bit.

I started smiling, “Hey I’m Sky!” God I hope I’m not blushing.

“And I’m Harley!” Harley waved over to Tony.

“Hey do you guys want a tour of the bus?” Vic asked looking and Harl and I.

“Yeah! That’d be sweet!” Harley replied and smiled, Vic smiled back.

“Here let Jaime and Show you how a real host shows a tour bus” Mike said signaling for Jaime to tag along.

I noticed the way Vic and Harley were flirting so I decided to let them have fun together. “Nah, I’ll stay back here. You guys have fun!” I said smiling and winking at Harley as the guys turned around and headed toward the back. She smiled back and mouthed the word thank you.

“Tone stay with Sky!” Vic yelled as he went past the first door.

I walked over and sat down on the couch, where Mike and Jaime were sitting before they went off and joined the tour. Tony followed and sat bit distant, I could tell he felt a bit uncomfortable. I looked over and noticed the tattoo on his knuckles, my eyes lit up as soon as I saw the word it spelled.

I decided to break the silence, “ Hey does that say Star Wars? Well, the tattoo on your knuckles.” I asked and his face turned to me, he seemed a bit shocked that I asked, I saw the corners of his mouth curve a bit.

He turned his body a bit to face me and scooted a bit closer to show me his knuckles, “Yeah they do actually!” He said back to me. “Do you like Star Wars?” He asked.

I got up and took my jacket off and showed him where the slit was on my shirt that showed my Millenium Falcon tattoo. I saw his eyes light up a bit, “I LOVE Star Wars! I fight with the rebellion, so I like to have the falcon on me at all times!” I said, maybe a little too excitedly.

I could see Tony getting really happy, “Dude that’s awesome! But, there’s no bigger Star Wars fan than me!” He said while smirking at me.

“I don’t know Mr. Perry. My name is the definition of Star Wars fandom! Skylar Walker, my dad thought it would be pretty great considering our last name!” I said while laughing a bit and sitting back down.

Tony’s mouth dropped, “You’re kidding?!” he said

“Haha I’m not! My brother’s name is Anakin! My dad is a huge Star Wars fan!” I said while moving my hair behind my ear.

“That is probably the best thing I’ve ever heard!” He said while having the biggest smile on my face. “Unfortunately I fight for the empire!” He said while he smirked.

“Right when I thought we could be friends!” I said while laughing.

“Maybe we could form a little alliance!” He suggested, as I noticed how close him and I were sitting now.

“I guess we could, but only if you beat me in a light saber battle. The force I strong with this one.” I said while pointing at myself. Tony started to laugh, he was so cute when he laughed.

“Oh you’re on! I believe in the power of the dark side!” He said back, I giggled and looked down trying to hide my smile that was forming across my lips.

He got up and walked over to his bunk pulling back the curtains, I stayed on the couch and just watched. It looked like He was reaching for something, as I saw him about to start walking back back I put my head back down and made it seem like I wasn’t just watching him.

“I guess it your lucky day, the battle starts now!” He took a light saber from behind his back and tossed to me. I got up and caught it just in time, I pressed the button to see it glow bright blue. Tony of course had the red.

I made the first move and headed toward his arm but his light saber clashed with mine in the process. He started to head for my leg but I Jumped completely dodging it, next he tried aiming for my right arm but I stopped him with mine before he could even touch me. Our light sabers made an ex as we now stood really close together, looking directly into each other’s eyes.

“You aren’t gonna make this easy for me are you?” He asked not breaking eye contact with me.

“Hmmmmm,” I said raising one eyebrow, I spun around to hit his shoulder but his light saber crashed with mine once again. “Nope!” I replied with a wink.

“I guess I gotta stop playing nice!” He replied, reaching for another lightsaber that was hidden behind a pillow.
Tony started attacking and my Jedi reflexes weren’t ready! I try to keep up and dodging, but it was no use, Tony had me surrounded, I started to walk backwards towards the back door with my light saber still in my hand and tony a few inches away from me, I take one more step back and I feel my foot slip on a jersey I fall back, and tony follows tripping on my leg. He caught himself with his hands before his body could squish me. I could feel my heart race throughout my body, and Tony’s chest touching mine every time he took a breath. We were face to face now, I studied his face and actually noticing how memorizing and big his eyes were, I felt like I was stuck in a trance. I moved my eyes down to his lips then back up again. I could feel my teeth bite against my bottom lip. He started to lean in, and then I heard a voice come through the opening door.

“Okay and that concludes our tour!” Vic said as he and the rest of them came through the back door. Quickly we were snapped back into reality.

“Oh ha ha hey guys!” I waved to Harley, Vic, Mike, and Jaime; with tony starting to get off of me, I could feel my face turning bright red.

Vic opened his mouth but before he could talk, Jaime replied back first, “I see you tony.” He said as he made an obvious wink. I looked over to see a slightly blushing tony.

“What are you talking about?” Tony replied now looking down at the ground and standing back up.

Jaime made another obvious wink and said, “You know.”

“How was the tour?” I asked as I got up as well.

“Well It actually turned into a competition on who was a better tour guide!” Harley said while laughing. “At first Jaime and Mike were winning, they some pretty great puns and amazing yoga poses! Then Vic Stepped up his game and showed me how Skyrim book and map! So he won by a land slide.” She smiled a nudged Vic playfully. Vic Smiled back.

“Damn boys its gonna take a lot to recover from that loss, she’s obsessed with that game!” I said to Jaime and Mike.

“Oh just you wait little lady,” Mike said to me.
“When it’s your turn to get the tour, there will be no way Vic will win!” Jaime said with confidence and sticking his tongue out at Vic.

“Well that’s gonna have to be saved for another day, We got rehearsal early in the morning!” Vic said back to Jaime. I could tell Vic was more of the dad figure of the group, really in charge of getting everyone on track.

“Thanks for having us over guys! It was a lot of fun!” I said to the guys then making eye contact to Harley that it was time to go.

“Yeah thanks! That was quite the tour!” Harley said as well.
“We’re gonna start heading out, we have rehearsal early too! Bye guys!” I said while grabbing my jacket from off the couch and putting it back on.

“Bye!” All the guys said waving back!

On my way out I felt a hand tap my shoulder, I turned around to see who it was, It was Tony.

“Oh hey umm sky?” He asked while taking off his hat and moving his hand to the back of his neck.

“Yeah?” I asked with a really confused look on my face.

“We should text sometime… to set up when we could have another light saber battle!” He asked, looking a bit nervous!


I could feel the curves of my lips move to form a smile, “Yeah that’d be great!” I wrote down my phone number on his hand with the sharpie I found in my jacket pocket. And I walked out to join Harley.

This one is a bit of a long one, the next is probably going to be just as long! So its taking me a while to write it! I'll get it done as soon as I can! stay lovely
