Winning you over was the hardest thing to do

Candace's pov-

I laid waiting on the hospital bed for a doctor or nurse to come in it's been 30 minutes and they still haven't come to check on me. "Owww" I moaned as I tried lifting it up. It felt like a thousand needles sticking through it. "Does it still hurt?" Jaime asked. Did he just ask me that?

"No Jaime, I'm saying 'ow' for the fun if it!" I pracitcally screamed in annoyance. He looked at my leg. "So does it?" I rolled my eyes. "Yes! Can you get the fucking hint?!" I shouted in frustration. His eyes went back to his phone mumbling something under his breathe. I am not in the mood to argue. Espicially with people who I can't stand.

I heard Someone knocked on the door. "Come in" I said sitting up this time. I saw a Doctor open the door. "Hey, my name is Doctor Gill" The man said before fully entering and closing the door behind him. He had a fair amount of white hair, a coat, his hair was slicked sideways. He reminded me of my grandpa. "Hello" I smiled. "Candace Henderson" He said looking through the folder. "That's me" I said as sweetly trying to ignore the excruciating pain that was in my leg.

"Oh so that's you're real name? I thought it was Amy, or something bitchy like your personality" Jaime said out of no where. My jaw dropped as the doctor looked back at him.
"Oh I didn't see you there" Doctor Gill said as he reach out a hand to shake Jaime's hand. Jaime shook his hand. "So I suppose you are this young ladies boyfriend?" Gill asked. "Of course not, me with her? You gotta be kidding me" Jaime laughed. I rolled my eyes. "Don't mind him he's a low life star who doesen't know when to quit" I smirked at Jaime.

"Do you want me to leave?" Doctor Gill asked. "No, my leg is pain" I said as I pointed to it. He took my shoe off and examined it. "Would you mind if we took x-rays? Are you expecting?" He asked. I shook my head. "No I'm not pregnant" I responded.
