Winning you over was the hardest thing to do

Candace's pov-

After Vic almost kissed me, I had a sick feeling. "I'm going to find TJ". He looked at me and smiled. "I'll just be here" he said. I nodded before finally exiting. I entered the room full of partiers. I sighed looking at the time. We had to leave it was almost one in the morning. I slid my phone back in my pocket and fixed my beanie.

I made my way through the sweaty bodies shoved together and touching each other in places I shouldn't mention. I made my way to the door. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Jessica. "oh hey" I said quickly putting on a fake smile. "Have you seen Jaime?" She asked. I felt myself cringe. "I don't know" I said as nicely as possible.

She nodded understandingly. "if you see him tell him I'm looking" She said. "I will" I said. I closed the door and started walking. Nobody was really around. I tried calling TJ but she wouldn't answer. Dammit. I have to stay with her tonight. I decided to Catch a cab since I don't really know my way around town.

After making the call I walked to the door that had the bright words 'Exit' printed on it. I pushed open the door and texted Vic.

Candace- I'm staying at a hotel tonight, it was nice meeting you and the guys, hope we will get to know each other better, bye :)

He replied pretty fast, not even two minutes later I felt my phone vibrate.

Victor Fuentes- It was nice meeting you also, hope we can do this again, I'll call you later. Have A nice night.

I leaned up against the wall and stayed on my phone waiting for the cab. A few minutes passed by and still no cab. "ugh" I groaned in annyoance.

I gave up hope I started walking down the street where there was nothing but a street light and rats and graffiti on buildings. It was getting cold and to make it worth I was wearing a tank top with ripped jeans. I crossed my arms hoping it will help me freezing. I took a few steps before I saw a pair of head lights coming my way. I kept looking straight ahead and walking not wanting to look back.

They stopped and honked. I turned around. The person stopped the car and came up to me. "leave me alone!" I screamed. I was about to be kidnapped. "Who are you and why are you walking around this late?"
